![]() Circe lets out a small laugh at Drake's last comment. "Not much of a violent person? I can think of a Chelish ship or two who might dispute that comment. I can also think of a few people back in Cheliax who would give me a good deal of grief for even sitting down and sharing a drink with you." ![]()

![]() Cicre will take a seat in the chair Drake pulls out for her. "Are you always so observant as to what other people drink? If you weren't so noble eye roll as she says noble, I would be worried that you were just paying attention so that you would know which wine to poison. That kind of relates to why I was currently shipless and able to make the journey here. The captain of the last ship I was stationed on was poisoned and the new captain had his own personal wizard that he brought with him, so my services were no longer needed on board." ![]()

![]() Circe gives a little curtsey to the elderly elf, wondering how old an elf must be before he actually looks that old. "Forgive me sir, but I do not speak the Elven language. We were informed that you had knowledge of the Symbols of Authority and were hopeful that you could tell us what you know of them. Perhaps some descriptions of what some looked like and if you know where any might currently be or where some were last scene?" ![]()

![]() Circe rolls her eyes as Saiga makes his claims. Greedy little creature. He will probably try to take more than his fare share of the goods we 'recovered' from those men we killed. "I suppose I will take the other tower. A fitting place for a wizard and all that..." "I would go with you as well Avendryl. This Jed may be the best person to speak with about recovering some of those symbols." ![]()

![]() Circe spends a moment glaring at Drake as she tries to decide if that was an actual insult or not. Finally she shakes her head as she chooses not to address that right now and move on to matters that are bit more important to her mind. "First, assuring us that what you do isn't for mere coin Saiga only concerns me more concern since you have not told us what this other reason is. Greed would have been at least a known reason and one that is easy enough to work around. Now you would have us wondering if you have some sort of ulterior, sinister motive for everything that you do." After addressing Saigu, Circe turns towards Drake, pointing a delicately taloned finger at him. "Now, as for you Arcturus. I agree with what you said that the laws of Katapesh will not matter once we make the isles our own and set up our own system of laws. However, I differ in opinion of whose ideas to bring to it instead. Why Andor over Cheiliax?" ![]()

![]() "Thank you for allowing Rock and myself the use of your cabin Captain. It is a generous offer regardless of the circumstances." Circe gathers up her things. "Now if you would so kind as to show us the way to it, I would like to settle my things before taking a look at the cargo the imposter loaded.' ![]()

![]() Circe reflexively takes the bolt offered to her, then looks down at it confused at to why she took it. "Well, it would be more correct to say that you were the only one of our group hurt. As you have no doubt seen, I am indeed fine. They missed me completely. Horrible aim, incompetent fighters. It is a miracle that they managed to anyone down at all." Circe turns away from Drake, facing the boat again. "Well, now. With that little unpleasant exercise out of the way, shall we board the ship now? Preferably before any other surprises pop out at us?" ![]()

![]() "Who the hell were those people? Any of them still alive to question?" Circe looks about those that fell and notices Arcturus on the ground and bleeding quite bit. Oh s@+!.... Circe moves over and kneels down beside him as she makes an attempt to staunch his bleeding. "Uhm, anyone good at fixing people or have healing skills?" ![]()

![]() D'oh, my bad. Apparently they are auto hits. Not sure what I was looking at to think that I needed to roll, unless it was the acid dart from conjuration that I usually take a wizard? But, yeah, if it was something that I did have to roll for, then I coulda crit on it. At least all my other GM's allow crits on ranged touch attacks. ![]()

![]() "In one breath you chide the captain and in the next you chide me for my manners and imply that ladies shouldn't speak? How about I compromise and just not to speak to you anymore?" Circe turns her back upon the insolent little lizard and waits for the captain's instructions. ![]()

![]() Circe sighs and ignores the little lizards offer of 'help'. She knows that despite whatever inflated prices the local sellers come up with, it will still be cheaper to just pay them than to deal with Manu and his costly 'help'. A shopping trip with both Manu and Drake? Why oh why do I already feel a headache coming on? ![]()

![]() Sparing a look of exasperation at Manu, having had to endure his bargaining techniques before, Circe moves up to the crystal and lays her hand upon it. Letting out a little gasp as she feels the strange sensation of some sort of energy branding itself into her palm. Removing her hand, Circe looks at her palm, seeing a ruby red and gold ornate key tattooed on her palm. ![]()

![]() Circe had managed to stop coughing by the time that Zhen made his entrance and she rejoined the group to listen to his explanation for bringing them all here. She is unable to keep the look of shock of her face when he informs them all that he has been poisoned and will soon die. Circe looks even more surprised at being told that the group of them was being given a deed to a city. She is momentarily speechless as she wonders just how this diverse group would be able to agree on anything, let alone agree on how to rule a city. ![]()

![]() Circe pouts a bit when Drake refuses to take her bait and argue with her. Hmph, he's just scared of losing a fight if we did start one. And now he has the nerve to ignore me for Manu? Circe sips her glass of wine. I wonder who else will be showing up here? So far the guest list seems a bit eclectic. ![]()

![]() Saigu:
I think we will go with the trade aggreement one. If it were the other you would be attacked on sight, both then and now. "Forgiven, but not forgotten. I can assure you that I have greatly improved my bargaining skills since then." Circe will turn her head to look at Drake at his 'retired' comment. "Well then, I am sure a great number of Chelaxian merchants have celebrated your retirement and the fact that you will not be boarding their ships anymore to steal their cargo." ![]()

![]() As Circe turns away from the refreshment table with a plate full of tasty looking little snack, she suddenly finds herself face to face with Drake. Arcturus Drake is here as well?? Asmodeus is surely tormenting me. Circe steps away from the table to make room for Drake to help himself to the refreshments on the table. "Shouldn't you be out a ship somewhere?" Sniffing in disdain, Circe turns away from Drake and looks over the little newcomer. "Greetings Manu. How are you doing?" ![]()

![]() One of the first to arrive, Circe wanders over to the refreshment table to see what has been laid our for them to choose from. Circe is wearing a tight-fitted black bodice over a deep indigo dress with long flowing sleeves and a full ankle length skirt that has a slit up to one thigh for greater ease of movement. Her jet black hair falls freely down to her shoulders and her bangs are carefully coiffed in an attempt to conceal her two little horns protruding from her forehead. A small pair of reddish wings are easily visible begining at her shoulderblades and her dress is very low-cut in the back to accommodate them.
