Feeling the wave of fire rush past, it occurs to Cica that she might use cold to dissuade the gargantuan bat from swallowing her. Cica scratches her dusty, unkepmt hair, and wipes the sweat off of her brow with a dirty sleeve. "I wouldn't think it's treason. They asked us to make sure we get to Saventh-Yhi first. Perhaps one or more from our company should stay back to pass on what we've learned, when the General gets here...and let them know that we take our job seriously enough that we didn't want to risk the Black Widows getting there before us." Happy to go back after a last look for hidden nooks/treasures in the ziggurat. Have we already looked everywhere in the ziggurat? If so, Cica agrees and is ready to return to camp.

"WOOOOAAAHH!" Watching the ancient machinery move is amazing, and Cica lets out a long, slow whistle of appreciation when the location reveals itself. Cica's eyes brighten when she realizes these are the final three. "Yes! Let's go see what happens when we put insert all the stones together. Though...should we heal up first? We have a couple potions, if Garland and Placidus are running low on magic." Currently at 39/71. Hopefully this just gives us a cool map/clue and not a big baddie to fight...but if we do get one, I'm not in great shape.

Oh right, you've got Burn to account for too... Cica collapses on the floor, back against the wall. "Yeah, he was a f^&ker, all right! "I guess we should see what we can find here. Hopefully that snake was guarding the last of those gems!" After a minute of catching her breath (and any chatting), Cica will go look at the caster's body, and then join a search of the area.

Cica turns sideways, but still gets burnt by the lightning bolt. With a scowl, she steps forward and to the right, loosing her arrow and then drawing another. Reflex: 1d20 + 8 + 1 ⇒ (16) + 8 + 1 = 25 no dam due to fire resistance
Hindering shot+scouted+tiger: 1d20 + 7 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (18) + 7 + 2 + 1 = 28

She catches the serpent off guard and looses an arrow straight through it's neck...only to find all she's done is eliminate the last illusion. She sighs, and draws another arrow. Reflex: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (1) + 8 = 9 "Dammit!!" Cica curses loudly as she feels her flesh blister and burn. Rather than shoot, she runs back to join Placidus, and takes a moment to call on her ancestors for aid. Then she says, "Placidus, you have anything to keep me in this fight longer?" Cast Resist Energy (Fire). Hopefully doing it out of sight of the baddie to reduce chance of knowing what i cast.
