are there any viable ones? I wanted yo make a Scar (full metal alchemist) or a Hei (darker than black) type character.
I looked into magus but would like to know if anyone had a solid build/class that would mostly utilize magic touch attacks.
Thanks

So i had a few questions on the Cloak of the Manta Ray

Quote:

This cloak appears to be made of leather until the wearer enters salt water.

At that time, the cloak of the manta ray adheres to the individual, and he appears nearly identical to a manta ray (as the beast shape II spell, except that it allows only manta ray form). He gains a +3 natural armor bonus, the ability to breathe underwater, and a swim speed of 60 feet, like a real manta ray.

The cloak does allow the wearer to attack with a manta ray's tail spine, dealing 1d6 points of damage. This attack can be used in addition to any other attack the character has, using his highest melee attack bonus. The wearer can release his arms from the cloak without sacrificing underwater movement if so desired.

So would the wearer gain the +3 natural armor bonus and the spine attack if hes out of water?

So I was reading a previous post about using a bear trap as a weapon with the trait Rough and Ready and putting a point into profession trapper.

I think it'll be funny for a little gnome to use.
But I don't know how it would work as a weapon for a small character, or really how use it as just a trap.

Any help would be appreciated!

So I've been wanting to make a necromancer type character for sometime now and I'm new to pf and I'm not sure quite how our what's the best class.
What I've had envisioned was to fight along side a couple really strong minions with a scythe, but Idk how to go about it. And animate dead confuses me a bit, could I potentially animate minotaurs? And how would their stats and stuff be affected.

Any help is appreciated! Thanks

Do pistols count as light weapons when using the two weapon feat?
Also does the beneficial bandolier effect happen every turn so I wouldn't need to reload a single shot gun ever?

I'm curious what everyone's opinion of what their favorite summoning class is.

I was thinking of making a guy with a few strong summons our maybe a necromancer

Thanks for any help

So im pretty new to Pathfinder and tabletop games. We started playing PF a little bit ago and we just started a new campaign. So i choose an Alchemist and im loving it so far. Mutagen + bombs are awesome. We can change our characters up a little bit as we are low lvl, so i'm not sure if i should change to Vivisectionist or just stay a regular Alchemist. I'm playing in a small campaign with a rogue and a wizard

I tend to lean towards Mutagen + enlarge person, but i also like the idea of bombs until i really need to use my mutagen. But i had a question on mutagen, 2 claws and bite. As a full attack i can do claw/claw/bite? With adding my str bonus to each attack to the hit and damage without penalties?
Also, how would Power Attack fit in with that combo?

Thanks for any help.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

I've always had a liking towards throwing axe people in video games/shows etc. So, i'm curious to see if this is a viable build. We're still pretty new to Pathfinder but I'm pretty set on using only throwing axes for our new campaign, but i would like some help on how to build him. Stats/feats/etc.. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

So my friends and I recently started playing pathfinder and we have a few questions. We were using the templates mostly to base our characters off of, but what we didn't understand is from this PICTURE

1. He was a fighter, and the lonsword dmg was 1d8+4, we didn't understand where the +4 came from and how it could change depending on weapon. Also, we have no idea what the Attack Bonus of +5 means or the Bonus Attack Bonus and what it does.

2. Also, there is a druid in our group who has a 18 wisdom (+4 mod), and how do you determine how many spells he can prepare a day?

3. And how does pet fighting work?

So if someone could help me understand this better, it'd be much appreciated!
Thanks
