Wizard and Barbarian are allies.

Wizard uses a lesser rod of reach to cast a Fly spell on the Barbarian who is 15' away.

Our GM ruled that the wizard had to make an attack roll in order for the wizard to touch the barbarian.

Does this mean that the willing ally of the Wizard is for some reason trying to avoid a beneficial buff spell from his party member? Wouldn't it succeed no matter what if the Barbarian is willing?

Does the Barbarian have to add his Dex Modifier to his touch AC? If yes, why and what page is that rule on? If no, why and what page is that rule on?

Every pathfinder should have a sunrod in their equipment because it combats magical Darkness like a champ.

This 1-foot-long, gold-tipped iron rod glows brightly when struck (a standard action). It sheds normal light in a 30-foot radius and increases the light level by one step for an additional 30 feet beyond that area (darkness becomes dim light and dim light becomes normal light). A sunrod does not increase the light level in normal light or bright light. It glows for 6 hours, after which the gold tip is burned out and worthless.

Dealing with dim light is much easier than dealing with no light.

My druid just hit level 4 and can now wildshape.

What magical items and/or spells could I be casting to communicate with my party members while in animal form? Want a solution I use so my party doesn't waste their actions attempting to communicate with me.

I have really thin skin.

Are there any PFS legal magic items that increase natural armor? It seems that every little sling and arrow that comes my way just goes right through me.
