She was surprised by the sight of the red crystal, but it wasn't the first time hearing of one, albeit a good while ago. She remains polite and open minded towards the archmage, keeping a proper distance between them, even though her technical brain meanwhile thinks up a few other ideas. The crystals are also utilized by the weapons development.", she subconsciously holds her hand on her own gun, her own little piece of development. "The latest is the 'elemental rifle', using a crystal as a power core.", realizing she might get carried away, Catherine recomposes herself.
