1. Yes! Very interested! 2. I would post as many times as necessary. As long as I'm not the only one posting. 3. Definitely, that's the part I look forward to the most, the roleplaying. ![]()
![]() @Sethran - I took Rich Parents and re-fluffed it into a thief's tale. I used it to gain access to some magic items and some other treats, but if you think I should abandon it for something else I will consider changing it. The only reason I took it was to add to my backstory and give me a reason to be in Sandpoint. @Avan - Yeah, I'm aware of that feat. All I'm saying is it's not absolutely imperative at the current level. ![]()
![]() @Avan - It's definitely something I'll look into, but given I currently have an extremely low CMB it would require some Feats to get to it and it will be a while before I could get to that point. @divineshadow - I have my AP trait - Family Ties - It's available from the RotRL AE Player's Guide. Unless that isn't allowed? I don't remember reading anything saying it isn't. Thanks for reminding me to check up on that, though. :) ![]()
![]() @Sethran - Thank you very much for your input, I'm much happier with the character now and I can actually see it going places. My only disappointment is the horrendously low saves but that can always be remedied with a Cloak of Resistance +5 that I nab off some poor sucker on the street. ;D I've made all changes to the sheet on my profile. ![]()
![]() I think the Cutpurse would work well too, as a Rogue can act as a Burglar with or without the Burglar abilities. Also, are you suggesting a dip into Urban Ranger to get Trapfinding back? Also if I went Halfling I might as well go Filcher which would work too. Edited because I posted before the edit. ![]()

I guess I can just stick with Burglar and then hope to high heavens that I get lucky scoring some magic items. Also I've been wanting to homebrew an archetype to fill that niche for the longest time now. Maybe now is the best time to begin? ![]()
![]() I made several changes that were suggested which makes my character more useful in combat while still sticking to the flavor. I added a second archetype (Knife Master) in addition to Burglar; I hope this is allowed. Also, I opted out of using a Wand of Magic Missile for a cheaper Wand of Detect Magic (How else would she find magic items???) and pooled the rest of my gold into a Masterwork Dagger, five regular daggers (for throwing), 2 potions of Mage Armor, and Lamellar Armor. In addition to those changes, I changed wisdom from 14 to 12 and added the extra points to my Charisma (bringing it to 12 + 2 Racial mod) and put the extra point in Strength for carrying capacity. |
