We are upon the precipice of greatness here in the New River Valley! Our games have been steadily growing and our player-base has solidified. But for further growth to happen, I must hand over organizational duties at my main store to someone who can handle leading from the front, a people person who ultimately stepped up to the job...

So help me in welcoming Southwestern Virginia's newest Venture-Lieutenant, Richard Burgess!

If you are going to be in the Roanoke area this coming weekend, you owe it to yourself to come on down and play some Pathfinder Society with us! I am heading up the operation, with the help of Venture Captain Paul Ree, Venture Captain Matt Smith, and Venture Lieutenant Jeremy Hitchcock. The area we are going to be running games in is new and raw, so we will have a ton of tier 1-5 games as well as a handful of 3-7 and 5-9 scenarios for our more experienced PFS gamers. Sign-ups for the individual tables will be on-site, there is no pre-reg for PFS tables!

Hope to see you there!

Hello my fellow Pathfinders, I need a ruling on something that's been vexing me as well as one of my more experienced players. The wording regarding Charging in combat is vague and not very descriptive. When it comes to how one is able to move in a given charge, is it only like the way a rook/bishop would be able to do in Chess? Or does the 'charging line' work more like a line spell, where the effected squares have to be connected but can still be called a line?

One of my players has requested that I run a 'funny' scenario for our next gathering. Without dropping spoilers, what scenarios could you all suggest that would proved to be a good laugh?

I have a character concept for a Half-Orc Ninja for Pathfinder Society. Taking a close look at the rules for Sneak Attack, I don't see anything that disallows certain melee weapons, or any melee weapons for that matter.

So what I am asking is this: Is it possible for a Level 1 Half-Orc Ninja to sneak attack with a Greataxe, so long as all conditions for Sneak Attack are met?
