You are not lucky, deep fried turkey is delicious!

"You make it sound like you'd trade language lessons for healing ones, but it doesn't matter one way or the other to me. I'd be happy to teach you when we have the time." "If I can get a bit of rope to hold on to, I can help pull too. I'd be more help doing that than trying to keep pace with Kai in the rowboat."

Hearing her named called urgently, Nerine wastes little time getting up on to the ship and inspecting the injured lady. Heal:1d20 + 4 ⇒ (19) + 4 = 23 Then, to ease her pain, Nerine casts her last healing spell, making sure to touch where she is least likely to cause pain. Cure Light Wounds:1d8 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11 "I will not lie, because I believe you already realize this, but this is bad. If we could get you back to our ship, I might be able to make your recovery go more smoothly, as well as determine the true extent of your injuries. My name is Nerine by the way."

"So far, Garth flying over there and taking the rowboat are the best ideas so far, in my opinion. Garth's wings are like a bat's, and while wind certainly helps, he doesn't need it to fly. But I could be wrong, since I have little knowledge of dragons. The same goes for the rowboat, or even Waveflier if you don't mind getting wet."

Nerine barely has time to grab on to something before the Captain tilts the ship in his attempt to try to avoid the Dead Water. "It's not just the water." She breathes as she stands again. "The air here doesn't move either, there are no winds to fill the sails. We got out before it's too late." Yay, Karma points all around!

The child was dead Captain, there was no need to hush the poor little one. I had 'Flier dive and let the current take the child. I saw no reason to to keep him/her with us once you were aware of it and had decided to follow the current. Making no means to get the body on board while you did so I might add.

"If you have any injuries, I will see to them no matter the time. I can be found in Olek's garden at night when not on watch. I can also lend an ear. The only difference between this room and the ocean at night is the lack of water." She whispers to Kripya before leaving the room. Almost immediately, she went to the railing and peered down at Waveflier and the child, knowing there was nothing she could. "I bear witness to your passing young one, as sad as it makes me. Go now to the next life, and be happy again." She prayed, not realizing she was talking out loud. She gave the command for 'Flier to dive, and fought back tears as she watched the body wash away. She watched until she could see it no more, then just stared down into the waves until the Captain called for everyone to gather.

You can find it in the book Unearthed Arcana or HERE. I've actually used it twice before for other druids, and thoroughly enjoy it. I asked about in it Character Creation and it was approved. Edit: Ooh, another Wave druid? Fun!

Nerine calmly steps closer to Kai and lays a hand on him, letting the power of the Seas course through her body to heal his wounds. Just like salt water on an open wound, the process stings... Cure Light Wounds:1d8 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 10 She smiles. It seems she can heal wounds like she can fix ships!

"From that direction I think." Nerine explains to the Captain, gesturing in the correct direction. That's when she hears the muffled scream and notices both Kai and Suny's hurried movements. "Too many bad things are happening today Captain." She says as she runs to join the others, taking her spear in hand in case it's needed. She calls out for someone to get Olek just before she enters the hold. "I see we should have destroyed you when we took out the others." She says calmly as she takes in the undead's new appearance. "Would any of you disgusting aberrations of the Natural Order care to tell us why your keeping us from getting to your foul master?"

"Oh no.." She dives into the water and gets Waveflier to surface and keep the poor child next to the ship before climbing back up and running to the Captain. "Captain.. I was fixing the ship and there was a thud.. there's a dead child down in the water. The poor thing wasn't one of ours, so that means there was another ship, right? It can't be too far, if the body hasn't been eaten yet."

Nerine arrives in time to see the body being hauled to Avion's lab, and decides to leave it be for now. It's too early for a talk with that man anyway, so she gets back to work on fixing the ship. Profession(Carpenter):1d20 + 7 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 7 + 2 = 28

"Apologies Captain, but I had to know where you stood on the matter. Now I know you stand on the ship." ;) "As for the pets, we will handle them in our own way on our own time. We can't let personal feuds effect our work. I in particular need to continue repairing the ship." Willpower DM wrote:

"Olek did mention that the fish told him about something shiny below us, but he can tell you more about it. We may find out out more later tonight after we take we handle a small infestation that's on the ship's hull." "As for the Surgeon, Olek and I can heal people as well. I've already spoken to Gunny and told him as much." "The course seems fine Captain, so I have only one question. If it came down to it, would you side with Avion?"
Female Halfling Druid 3
Nerine smiles at Olek as she pulls out her spear and twirls it lightly. He knew how fast she was, able to dodge blows others would need a shield to stop. She nods. Secret Language:
"Tonight then. We'll take out the ones off deck first, so it will look like something from the sea got them. I can even have 'Flier jump out of the water to make splashes. We must take them out from below the water if possible, to minimize the chance of being caught." @The Captain's Meeting
Nerine does not take part of any drinking as the grog is passed out, preferring to keep her wits about her.

Nerine stares at the seeds with wonder in her eyes. Secret Language: "Yggdrasil was a powerful source of magic for our inland cousins. If even one of these does grow into a World Ash, we may very well have Natural Magic flow freely, without the need for blood-letting..."
"Which makes even more worried about Avion. Why did no one know our surgeon worshipped the God of Murder? How many of our crew might still be here today if he wasn't 'healing' them? Now he controls those foul things and is trying to coerce Gunny to follow in his footsteps! We need to make sure he doesn't get out of hand, even if that means we take out those things at night."

Willpower DM wrote: A Drow for example is not impressed with a rebuking as say Gunny would be, and was. :) I see I must now save Gunny from this dangerous path of Nerull, and show him the power of the Natural world. Considering I cause the entire ship(or him, or the sails, or whatever) to glow with faerie fire, I think I can do so pretty easily. |
