Finally, some challenge! Still not outstanding in the player agency department, but at least the lore picked up a bit.
I remember so little about this book it might as well have been a page on tvtropes or a Pathfinder AP. C'mon Paizo, you can do better!
Title says it all. I had the feeling the events unfurled around us without us having to do much, so I got to lean back while my party took on the encounters one by one... or so I thought.
In the end my oracle and his wolf animal companion had to work hard to keep everyone on their feet, and while we managed to get by on high tier (no 4-player adjustment), the GM did tone down some of the encounters for the sake of RP.
I think that a well-prepared GM can throw some serious hurt on the players in this scenario, so if you like that (like me), by all means! There are some rare enemies to be found.

Recommended for GMS that want to step up their game. Intense & Long!
Fun roleplay, challenging encounters, great use of skills and interesting mechanics.
Make sure you practise your "Villainous monologue" when GMing this! (It is literally advised in the scenario, muahahaha!)
It has some entertaining puzzles mixed in, it's a pretty straight-forward dungeon run. My players had a blast and so did I.
I ran it for a 4-player team (that I hadnit met before) with 1 pregen (paladin), all lvl 1. It was a rough ride and we had 1 death, but it was heroic and staunch. The bard sacrificed himself to distract the skeletons from the dying barbarian.
They rolled well, scared off the air elementals and saved themselves at the end by smiting the baddie.
Doable in short notice, albeit the writing being a bit chaotic.
But most of all: Techobabble! Spouting insane technonse at my players whenever they tried a knowledge check was instantly picked up by fans of Sci-fi series I was trying to convey, which gave them just enough hints to get what's playing without spoiling what to do. Intelligent players/GMs can really toy with how much they give away in terms of scenery that as a GM, I really had a great time.
