Serenity RPG

4/5

Being an D&D man and not familiar with a variety of Systems I had my apprehension about learning something new. Fortunately my doubts were unfounded. Serenity was quick and easy to learn, and fun to play. Even if you aren't a fan of Firefly/Serenity this is still a good solid game. The only complaints my group had were the fact there were no character sheets, a limited amount of usable ships(without making your own) and nothing to tell you where the planets/mooons were in relation to each other. How long does it take to get from Persephone to Haven? I still don't know the answer to that one. But other than a few minor gripes this is an outstanding game and for the time being, it has taken the top spot during our biweekly game sessions.

Dragon #331 is one of the best issues I have read in quite some time. Well since the Ninja, pirate issue. The Green Hags article was interesting and for the first time in a while I found things I could use in nearly every section.
