Ack, I always forget that +1 BaB requirement. But as you said, moot point, and I need to do some rebuilding anyway.
I'm potentially interested - I actually already have a possible character (this one), who would just need to be rebuilt. She's a gnome pack lord druid, on her way to Heldren with her pack, the wolves Doreah and Tavi, to explore the causes of the weird weather there for her mentor. Further background and description are in her profile - as I said, the mechhanics would need to be redone slightly.
Nope, no generator or anything, just typing it out the long way. There's a spoiler below the post entry box called "How to format your text" that explains the different tags you can use. I do have a template for the character sheet premade, though, so I only have to fill in the details when I'm creating a new character instead of starting the formatting from scratch every time.
You stupidly forgot to ask; I stupidly forgot to think about it. So really, we're square. :) I've never played Mythic, so I'm not terribly familiar with it, but at first glance, I think I'm looking toward the Guardian path. I plan to lean a little more toward wildshaping than spellcasting (although I'm definitely taking Natural Spell at 5th), so I think the Guardian fits best, especially flavor-wise. EDIT: Although if there's a way to dip into other paths, Mythic Wild Shape from Hierophant sounds like a valid life choice...
1) Shoot, just realized that I'd meant to ask about Beast of the Society. Would it be ok to re-fluff it to reflect my time studying with the Wildwood druids, or would you prefer to keep it Society-only? If Society-only, I'll probably choose another trait - I'm not feeling like going Pathfinder Society with her. 2) Traveling with the caravan, she saw a couple of Shoanti guards using skulls for shields and logged it away in the back of her mind. When she was traveling on her own, she found the skull, discovered it to be the right size, and figured out through trial and error how to make it work for her as a shield. (I think I'm going to change my Obsessive bonus from Craft (weapons) to Craft (armor) - it's the armor she's ending up being more creative with.) Again, if you'd prefer, I'll change to a light wooden shield, but I thought the klar felt a bit more druidic to me, as well as fitting in with the idea of her assembling her bits and pieces as she went, like the hide armor being from a cat her pack killed along the way.
Ok, I should just about be good to go on crunch now. I expanded storyline and personality as well. Does everything look ok, Faceless? EDIT: Just to be clear, both wolves will be with me from the start, but only Doreah will be a proper companion for now - Tavi will start out more as a pet. Tavi will join her as an actual companion once I've got enough effective druid levels to give him one, and possibly a little bit later so I keep the "age difference" between them.
The shepherd paced in his field, his jacket light and unsuited to the sudden cold snap. Maybe soon someone'll figure out what the hell's goin' on... Then he turns and is greeted with a sight possibly even stranger than the chill in the air. A good-sized wolf pads along the grassy hill, with another beside it, still with the short stature and oversized paws of youth. Astride the larger wolf is a girl, blonde hair pulled into a high, bouncy ponytail. She wears a wild cat's skin bound over her shoulders, and a long spear bounces against the wolf's side, tied to a curious saddle. Immediately the shepherd takes up his crook, ready to defend his flock from the wolves, but the girl sees his defensive stance and calls out. Oh, sorry! No worries, sir - they won't harm your flock, they'll stay with me. She suddenly grins as if hearing a private joke. Though they wouldn't say no if you gave them one... She rides up close to the man and grabs at the fur on the scruff of the wolf's neck, signaling it to stop. Up close, he can see the long, pointed ears and overlarge eyes - not a girl, but a gnome woman. I'm Caia - the Wildwood druids sent me? Said you folks were having some sort of weird weather going on? That's why I'm here. This is Rennaivx with my character for consideration, either a pack lord druid or a packmaster hunter. Crunch still has yet to be completed, but her story's in her profile. Whether she goes druid or hunter, she'll be taking Boon Companion twice in order to keep both companions' levels up as high as possible. Having come originally from Brevoy, she'll be taking the Northern Ancestry campaign trait.
See, I have this problem - I have near-encyclopedic memory of song lyrics. When I hear a song, or even just the opening to a song, I can sing it near-perfectly after only hearing it a couple of times. I can still sing songs from my fourth-grade state history pageant. But when asked to think of a song out of nowhere, I forget every song I've ever heard in my life. :P However, I think for Caia I'll have to go with this. Perhaps a bit stereotypical, but I think it fits, and especially fits how she thinks of herself. And as for the Reese's - I actually don't much go for chocolate anymore (it tends to mess with my stomach, and adding peanut butter makes it worse), so I couldn't tell you. If I go for junk food, it tends to be more the baked-good variety, plain glazed donuts or vending-machine coffee cake. Or sometimes a Payday bar. On a related note, I just remembered I have half a package of Haribo gummy cola bottles waiting somewhere for me to finish them. I should find those.
Ok, barring a few spells to prepare, Caia is ready to go. She grew up in a small town in Varisia, where her family were the only gnomes she had ever known. She was teased and bullied for her size, so she toughened and strengthened herself up with physical training. Finally she got tired of it and retaliated against a bully who had tripped her, which earned her a fine and a day in the stocks. She served her sentence, left her fine on the bailiff's desk, and left town. A circus caravan was supposed to be her new refuge, but when she saw a wolf and her cub being mistreated, she stepped in to help them, and when the trainer lashed out at her for her gentleness to them, she sprung them free in the night and left. They eventually ended up at a druidic enclave in the Sanos Forest of Varisia, where she was taken in, and began learning how to temper her strength and feistiness with wisdom. After some years of study, the enclave was visited by an envoy from the Pathfinder Society, and she was sent with her mentors' blessing to travel with the envoy and join up with the Pathfinders. Since then, she has traveled from enclave to enclave representing the Grand Lodge, growing deeper in her skill and wisdom and seeing lots of new and exciting places and creatures. The pup she rescued, Tavi, has grown up, and rarely leaves her side. The years and her studies have calmed her somewhat from her tempestuous youth, but she's got a strong protective streak, born of being bullied so much as a child. And as she hoped when she began her adventure, few are willing to pick on a little girl guarded by a wolf five feet tall at the shoulder and who can turn into a giant mass of fur and fangs at will. :)
Aww, for some reason it didn't cross my mind that the pack lord was a druid too. :( But as you say, may the best nature lover win! :) I really want to play this module, so if it becomes clear that we're short on submissions for another party role, I'm glad to build another character to fill what we need. It'll probably be a gnome no matter what - I just really want to play a gnome, for some reason. :)
I'm definitely interested. The Harrow is probably one of my favorite bits of Golarion fluff, and from what I've heard about the module so far, it sounds quite excellent. :) It looks like divine casting is what we're shortest on so far for requests - I've actually got a gnome druid (this alias) that should fit the bill. I plan to focus a little more on melee with wildshape and an animal companion, but focus my spell choices on healing, status removal, etc. so we have that available. Her backstory and appearance should be about set, but I'll need to re-do her character sheet. I'll have her re-built tonight, and I hope she's what you're looking for! EDIT: Just to note, I'm looking at building with a wolf animal companion and with the Wolf Shaman archetype.

Thanks. :) Would a breastplate be the most appropriate armor type to base it on, or is there a light armor that would do the trick? |
