Yeah that's my understanding as well. Unfortunately that's not a spell I have.
So is it possible to imitate the whispers with ghost sound? Give him orders in a voice he's used to obeying?
Well fascinate didn't seem to work. I'll beat a hasty retreat upwards to 150' or so. Someone want to try diplomacy? Whoever built this character didn't see fit to give her any ranks in it :-(
I'll move within 90 feet and try a bardic performance facinate. At lest get it looking in the right direction. Flying, I thought I'd never learn that flying,
