I will be traveling from 1/26 through 1/29. I should have good access to the internet and be able to post in the evenings. But feel free to bot as needed.

Byron tries another shot.

I will take another shot from the window or move to take a shot at those attacking at the door if necessary.

Dex+Ranged: 2d6 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (4, 2) + 1 + 1 = 8

Gauss Pistol, AP 3, Auto 2: 3d6 ⇒ (6, 1, 3) = 10

Hello, I will be on vacation from now through Jan 8th. I will have access to the internet, but I am not sure how much I will be able to post. Bot me as needed. Happy New Years!

Byron takes a shot at the leading creature.

Dex+Ranged: 2d6 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (6, 6) + 1 + 1 = 14

Gauss Pistol, AP 3, Auto 2: 3d6 ⇒ (2, 5, 2) = 9

I am kind of torn on this. This campaign has gone through quite a few people. I would be happy to continue, but losing the captain is a blow.

Byron waits to see what is attacking.

I went into a building and was looking through a window.

I would not have had it on. But I was thinking it might be in a bag for when things inevitably go bad. If its too bulky for that then it got left behind. That image also does not appear to have a light, so that answers the light question as well.

I have a combat environment suit. If that has a light source then I have that. If not then Byron does not have a light source.

Byron draws his pistol and moves to find cover inside a building glancing out through a window.

Byron looks around at the area, "Thank you for bringing us here to safety. Your secret is safe with us."

Byron will slowly put his gun away and stand up. He then says, "We were travelers who were shot down by the attack in the sky. We have also been attacked by an animal. If there is a safe place we would be honored if you would show us."

Byron holds his fire and waits to see how they react to Daneel's words.

Byron moves to take cover and aim his pistol towards where Daneel is pointing.

"We die without that fire. Whether we are eaten or freeze to death in the rain doesn't much change anything. Whoever has the fire may be in the same straights we are and banding together is a good way to survive. Byron says as he moves to obviously start down the path.

"Good eyes, Jhoolz! I doubt I would have spotted that in this light. The question is, is this a trap from some hunter or predator or a sign that there is shelter and clean water." Byron says as he looks down the path Jhoolz pointed out.

Byron will take up a rear spot and keeps glancing behind them as he goes. "Hopefully, there is a good place to get out of the rain." He says as they move forward.

Byron will take a shot at the blur in the hopes of getting a lucky hit.

Gauss Pistol Shot: 2d6 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (2, 2) + 1 + 1 = 6

Damage AP 3, Auto 2: 3d6 ⇒ (5, 2, 6) = 13

After getting Jerry back to concious, Byron moves to look out an opening to see what might be outside the wreck.

Int+Recon: 2d6 + 0 + 0 ⇒ (1, 5) + 0 + 0 = 6

"We can come back for them. But we need to not be here when the pirates come to take what they can." Byron says as he works to get Jerry moving.

Medic+EDU: 2d6 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (5, 4) + 1 + 1 = 11

Byron unbuckles himself and stands, "Agreed. We need to move now before they come. Especially if they want slaves." Byron reaches to grab his pack and then moves to Jerry's side to see about getting him out too.

Do we have our weapons?

"I doubt we had anything to do with that attack..." Byron says as he stays buckled in for now and leans back slowly breathing to let his body calm down from the forces of the flight. He then jerks up and looks around for any sign of fires.

Byron reaches out to grab Jerry and hold onto him.

Athletics+Str: 2d6 ⇒ (2, 4) = 6

Athletics+Str: 2d6 + 0 + 0 ⇒ (1, 6) + 0 + 0 = 7

Glad to have you back!

Byron also lurches towards a chair and works to get buckled in, "I would be more comfortable behind the controls in this." he grumbles to himself.

"We need the money and maybe we can offload what we just took on. I say we check it out." Byron says as he starts considering flight paths in.

Sounds good.

So if it is just the two of us it seems like we might want to call it, but if Jerry is still interested when he is feeling a bit better I am happy to continue.

It would be good if Jhoolz returned as well. Daniel may just be waiting for something to happen to reply to. Having Jerry out for a while has hampered things.

I already plotted a course. We can say it was to Marduk.

Byron flies out far enough and hits the command to send them along the plotted course to Marduk.

Byron had plotted a course to lead back to Clarke and Torpol to drop off the captain in the hopes of a reward and favor for the King.

"Maybe we need to demand a certain amount of value be dropped and that they stay in a certain range until we check the good?" Byron suggests.

"Yeah...its not necessarily the nicest job, but there are other groups apparently doing the same. I am not sure if that will help or hurt us." Byron says as he turns the ship to head out onto their next stop.

Jerry will wait until they get to within range 2 (or range 1 if they are not any more threatening at that range) and then order a shift to a more combat look and then go on the speakers and demand that they drop some loot and be on their way before we take out their systems.

"When we are close enough, we need to change to something threatening and send off a warning barrage before we make demands. Hopefully, they can be cowed quickly." Byron says.

Byron keeps a steady pace moving towards the other ship.

Byron keeps on the current direction but prepares to do evasive maneuvers if it comes down to combat.

I will be going on vacation from the 23rd through the 30th. I hope to have internet and be able to post over the week at least some, but I won't know until the day of if the area we are in is covered. Feel free to bot me as needed.

I did this on the last page and got a 14. It is directly beneath the post you first asked for the check.

"Aye" Byron says with a shrug as he turns back to the controls.

Byron turns the ship towards the trader and then swivels around to face the others and says, "You have been helpful. I would vote to give her the standard share that we each get as long as she stays loyal to the goals."

"That requires boarding. It would be easier to just get the trader to drop some cargo in space for us to scoop up." Byron says.

"I think we need to hit something. Or we are going to have trouble paying for anything." Byron says as they fuel up.

Byron flies them in.

Pilot (Spacecraft)+EDU: 2d6 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (6, 6) + 1 + 1 = 14

I will be on vacation from tonight through Monday. I am not sure what my internet situation will be through the trip, but I will try and be available to post at least once a day. Bot me as needed if I am taking to long.

Byron will plot a point and then take the ship in to fuel.

Astrogation+EDU: 2d6 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (6, 6) + 1 + 1 = 14

[ooc]Did we get anything from Redmane's crew from the planet? We demanded 10% of what they had I thought.[/b]

Byron will take Redthane and motion to two of the marines to follow him as they move to secure him and leave the others to figure out the details.

"He led you into a blunder and you made the smart move. We understand that and expect you to keep making the smart moves." Byron says.

Byron waits for a nod from Jerry and then begins advancing onto the other ship in his armor with his cutlass drawn.

I play in one Starfinder game, but I think it has some notable design flaws.

I actually think my favorite space game is Dark Heresy. It had a lot to work with story wise. The system is easy to lean and fun. But the printed mods for it are apparently crazy deadly. I ran a longtime game but I mostly just did my own things.

I would be happy to take part in either or both!
