Deepest apologies, I've only just realised that I didn't re-post with the Chelish Diva.

Background:
Brenna is a born Longacre resident, raised in a household that took the teachings of Asmodeus and the rule of the Thrice-Damned House to heart. Ever since she was a young girl, she recalls being taken to Longacre's Asmodean church for the requisite services and more besides. Her brother, Falryn, entered into service with the Asmodeans as an assistant inquisitor and is often abroad, undertaking his great works.

Brenna's life took another path, however. As a child, one of the local theatre owners overheard her singing and was immediately struck by the clarity of her voice. He spoke with Brenna's parents and sponsored her entry into one of the operatic schools in Egorian. She spent several years there, learning various forms of opera and also how to become a socialite. Behind the scenes, agents of the Thrice-Damned House were impressed by her rising star and she was recruited into their service as an informant; the performing arts often gave opponents to the Thrice-Damned House an easy way to move throughout Cheliax and although they had various informants within the entertainment scene, it wouldn't hurt to have one more.

For her part, Brenna revelled in her role. She was able to do two things that she loved; serve Asmodeus and the Thrice-Damned House, and sing!

She recognises, however, that increasingly Longacre is becoming a hotbed of dissident action and that she can do more than merely inform. To that end, she made it clear to her handlers that she wanted to undertake more dangerous missions. It took several months, but finally, the call has come down the line. Brenna cannot wait.

Personality:
Brenna comes across, at first, as a very facetious character and the archetypical diva. She regularly demands the best tables in local restaurants and is often found in the company of the most handsome men.

All of this is a ruse, carefully crafted over several years. In truth, she is an agent of the Thrice-Damned House of Thrune and wears her exterior persona like a cloak, that she drops once she's in private.

Years of duplicity have made her slightly paranoid and distrustful of new people. Once she gets to know them, if their interests align with her own, she'll fight to defend them. If their interests lie elsewhere... well, Asmodeus always has need of more souls.

Description:
Most would call Brenna pretty, even without the layers of make-up and the beautifully cut dresses she squeezes herself into for her performances. When she's working as an agent, she'll tend to be dressed in form-fitting armour, using her arcane abilities and ability with a bow to defend her homeland.

John Stout here with Marcus Leigton, a Paladin (mechanically an Aasimar) who balances his piety with his duty as a soldier.

Background
Marcus Leighton was born in the capital of Alisar while King Galen still ruled. Marcus has always considered slavery to be evil and rejoiced when the uprising put an end to the practice in Amerys. Although he has always been a pious man, Marcus felt it his duty to stand up for what he believes in and to stand against the tide of slavery that continues to exist.

Although he considered joining the navy in an attempt to stem the flow at the source, it took very little time indeed to realise he had neither the dexterity or the stomach for life on the ocean and instead joined the army where he found that his natural strength and charisma made it easy for him to step into the breach and lead men where they may not have wished to tread. Indeed, his piety seems to bolster the morale of the men he leads and at the same time, gives him an inner strength.

Marcus has spent his first tour of service dutifully serving Amerys and elected to stay on once it came to an end. Now, he looks to serve his country even more, and perhaps, to be part of the solution to the evil that is slavery.

Personality
Marcus is a calm and reasoned man who is not often given to flights of fancy or bouts of extreme emotion. He cares for each man he commands, and would not ask of them something he would not do himself.

Although he works well with animals, he largely foregoes a mount unless it is absolutely required. Instead, he will slog it out with his men on the march and let them see that he is willing to sweat with them.

Although powerful, he lacks a little in coordination and in social situations seems much more at ease talking with people than in engaging in any kind of activity such as dancing.

Description
Marcus is ruggedly handsome although he bears the scars of combat. He is unbelievably strong and carries great weights with seemingly uncaring ability. He is, oddly enough, rather clumsy and inelegant in motion and often relies on brute strength to see him through.

When working as a soldier, Marcus wears full plate and carries two weapons; a longsword called Dawnguard and a two-handed greatsword called Shadowbreaker. He uses a heavy steel shield in conjunction with his longsword as it offers him the best protection.

Anything you would like me to expand upon, GM? His inability to travel on sea is merely flavour; mechanically there is nothing stopping him and he shall travel to where he is ordered, although he might look a little green doing so.

John Stout's submission.

Althyar is a trained diplomat who works on behalf of high-powered merchants. Unfortunately on his latest mission, the caravan that he was travelling with was set upon by the slavers and it was only through his powers of persuasion that he survives where the guards did not.

As a follower of Sarenrae, he hopes to avenge his fallen comrades but is biding his time before doing so.

His powers as a sorcerer came to light when he was in his teens and over the years he has grown powerful in his own right; he spent some time with academics learning to scribe scrolls and brew potions to supplement his income.

Althyar is a reasoned individual not often given to bouts of emotion, and is usually able to talk his way out of a situation rather than have to resort to magical violence but when he must, he'll use his considerable fire-based repertoire to exact vengeance on those who have wronged him.
