I've scanned several threads about this but I need some input. The phrase "You do not receive additional natural attacks for a high base attack bonus. Instead, you receive additional attack rolls for multiple limb and body parts capable of making the attack " leads me to believe that a creature-say a cheetah- gets 3 attacks (bite, claw, claw) as a standard action as that is under the standard action section of combat, while the "full round action" section never specifically mentions natural attacks but more or less refers to pc's multiple (iterative) attacks. In grognardsville we always gave the animals their attack "routine" claw-claw-bite or whatever. But this is a new way so help me out. They only get the "routine" as a full round action? Makes sense, yet it isn't specified in the rules.
The spell entangle (Druid Level 1) states:"This spell causes tall grass, weeds, and other plants to wrap around foes in the area of effect or those that enter the area." Does that mean friendly creatures are not effected (such as members of your party)? And does the "those that enter the area." refer to foes or any creatures that enter the area? I'm of the opinion that it DOESN'T apply to the Druid and his friends, but at a session the other night this was called into question and I would appreciate some feedback from you, the gamerati on the subject.
There is a human slaughterhouse
My blood goes to work
There is a grove of bleached bones
And in the hollow of a restless soul
There is a grove of tortured forms
My blood goes to work
And then my blood just goes to work
And then my blood just goes to work
And then my blood just goes to work
The Garrison stationed upriver on the lonely mesa, was in a bad state of morale. Just over two years had passed since Kerrigan was assigned here, and soon he would be commander, as the current commander Rollo Thent was returning to Korvosa, and a well earned retirement. Time had not yet washed the bad taste of ineptitude, debauchery, and massacre from the minds of the men-at-arms and things were getting worse.
Only one man is in a position to solve the mystery of the disappearing goods and possibly redeem himself in the eyes of the men, and that is YOU. The cellar Rollo Thent had ordered all supplies moved to 2 store rooms in the cellar of the Keep (#'s 2 and 3 on the map) and a guard stationed outside each door additionally he has had a guard post with 3 men set up in the first cellar room (#1) there is a table, a cot, and 2 chairs along with a fireplace. That was yesterday, this morning it was dicovered even more foodstuffs have disappeared from room #3. The guard on duty was Varisian man named Dravis Puln, who swears he saw and heard nothing all night. It so happens that his brother Ecra Puln was one of the 3 men pulling duty in the guard room (#1) so it would seem blame rests squarely upon the Varisian brothers, who are now sleeping in preparation for another all nighter tonight. Rollo Thent has asked you to determine their guilt in no uncertain terms. You happen to know just a little more than you let on to Thent. It is well known that there is also a crypt a little farther below of ancient origin and an old well chamber that has a dried up cistern. But an old drinking buddy had previously described these ruins to you (when they were still ruins) and you know that down in the capped off well, lies the entrance to other ancient worm eaten passages that lead you know not where.

Voila! a new thread as I had a very similar question; is it the intention to up the power level? Even at standard pts buy with 73 pts the racial bonus would add an across the board (all races) +2? My STAP players are waiting... |
