So here's an idea.

A druid has a Roc companion. He has the Roc carry a jar with a swarm in it and drop it on a certain spot.

Do able? Would something like that be a handle animal /push type trick? How would this be done?

My druid is 6th level, very plain yet terribly effective. Toughness, natural spell and power attack are great. As a part time barbarian, you can use a greatsword no problem, but stay away from metal armor.

You will run out of rages with but a dip, so get the extra rage feat. Plus planar wild shape I think it's called is really quite nice.

If you want to intimidate and use cornugon smash as a large animal, go for it. Just pack a decent intimidate bonus.

Meanwhile, I have finally realized how crazy whirlwind is.
