Bob was born into an orcish tribe living in the Hold of Belkzen. His mother, a great orcish warrior gave him over to the tribe's Shaman for training right after birth, not wanting to deal with the shame of a half blood son. The Shaman spent the next 16 years trying to instruct Bob in the ways of Shamanism, however, Bob had NO inclination towards magic, or the cruel religion of the orcs. The shaman burned sacred runes into his flesh, tortured him crueler , worked him without end in an effort to get him to submit, but Bob would have none of it.As such the shaman named him Bob the Worthless on his naming day, further shaming him in the eyes of the tribe. Bob spent most of his free time wandering the woods and hills, often getting into fights with the full blooded orcs who tended to gang up on him, leaving him bloody and unconscious. One day the tribe killed a wandering adventure group, which had included a cleric of Desna. The holy texts containing descriptions of far off places and simple teachings touched Bob in a place he didn't even know existed. he yearned to be free of the tribe and it's cruelty and barbarism. Then one fateful day not long after Bob and his "master" were out gathering herbs, when they came across a lone human traveler. His master seeing an easy target attacked the man, who fought back bravely but was no match for the shaman. The man lay bleeding in front of the shaman begging for his life, and the shaman stood over him preparing to finish the poor man off, Bob's rage, which he had held in check for many many years burst free, and Bob grabbed a broken branch and stuck the shaman from behind with all his might cracking the skull of the shaman! Bob grabbed the human and ran for his and the man's life before the Shaman could react. This human turned out to be Professor Petros Lorrimor, who was extremely grateful to Bob for his aid. The two fled the area and the Professor helped Bob settle in Lastwall, where he joined the army for a time, and learned a bit more about city life, and civilization. When the letter came notifying Bob of the Professors death, he sadly left the city to go to his friend's funeral in Ravengro.
Bob is a gentle soul, for the most part, unless you anger him. He hopes to settle any business with the Professor's estate, and then perhaps to begin traveling to see as many of the shrines of Desna as he can.
