The first product we created for the Righteous Crusade AP Plug-Ins was a packet of pregenerated characters by Neil Spicer, Righteous Heroes. Coming soon, it’s the bad guys’ turn, as Legendary Games proudly brings you Unrighteous Villains! Carved from the deepest recesses of blighted hatred, insensate evil, and irrepressible caprice, these villains are richly detailed in personality and motivation, designed to connect with the existing Adventure Path and its primary plotlines but easily portable to any campaign where you need a villain that is over the top and out of the ordinary. These malevolent menaces are brought to you by the fervid imaginations of Todd Stewart, Clinton J. Boomer, and the newest addition to the Legendary team, that estimable emissary of evil himself, Mr. Nick Logue!

Ah, well we do plan to get the future books in print at some point so if you go in for the Gothic one now keep an eye out for future KS or pre-orders for the other compilations. We appreciate the support at any level!

Razor Coast Hero Lab files
The Razor Coast Hero Lab files are available now and Umarian found out that bright light was not the sun. It took the Deep Cave Frogs a while to figure out it was a halogen flashlight. Tricky Frog Overlords!

To purchase the files simply click here and select the ones you would like: http://www.talesofthefroggod.com/herolab.html

Also available FGG Pathfinder Content – This is a free download through the Powered By Herolab mechanism inside of Herolab. This includes information that can be used by the players in your group like feats, spells, classes, etc. This file has been created in such a way so that your players will only need the license for the Herolab Pathfinder data-set, and not the additional add-ons. To use this, you will need to follow the steps found here. Once loaded, your players can go to the Configure Hero screen (Cntrl-K), scroll down to the Frog God Games/Necromancer Games area, and select FGG Pathfinder Content box, and the box for the module you are playing in. Using the Powered by HeroLab feature will allow us to make updates to everyone as needed. When an update is available, it will display on the start-up screen for HeroLab when it checks for updates.

As for the D20Pro files, please allow some time for these to be completed as we could not more forward until now with them. I am coding them this month but with Convention Travel for Gen Con this will add an additional delay.

A note about the Hero Lab work:
While the Deep Cave Frogs have worked very hard to correct any errors we could find, it is possible (and expected) that some did make it through to the final version. We do have a site set-up where you can report any errors or discrepancies that you may find. You can find the bug reporting system at http://fggsupport.shadowsoftware.net/. Please provide as much detail as possible in the error report to help us be able to re-create it and fix it. If you receive an error message pop-up in HeroLab, you can right click the error message, copy it and paste it into your ticket. This will go a long ways in helping us also.
Additional information regarding error reporting can be located at http://forums.wolflair.com/showthread.php?p=131888#post131888

Hey guys where is the best place on the boards to post interest in doing artwork for 3rd party publishers? I thought there was a recruitment forum somewhere?

Thanks
Reebo

First: Have a portfolio up for 3PP to see.

Second: Email 3PP you would actually like to work for because you like what they do more than how much they will pay you.

Third: Do a free stock art PDF and give away 5 pieces of artwork. 3PP are always looking for new artist AND to save money on artwork. If we like your stock art we will come looking FOR YOU.

Hope these help.

Also when you email a 3PP give them your rate card up front. That is always going to be the first question we ask.

Thanks all :)

@brvheart, I've never used D20Pro, but I'm sure they would. You would have to add things like fog of war yourself (usually not difficult) and maybe make the map smaller (depending on how large a file the software can handle) - maybe just cropping certain rooms with encounters out to use.

Since Alice has kindly given permission to use them when I finish with Levels 11 - 15 I will add a set of the color maps without labels in the D20Pro Marketplace. The files will be free to download. I will add the scale to them so if you want to use them for play you can. Just note, some of the low res files may be pixelated. Great job Alice and I'm glad Matt had the solution :)

In my understanding, you up your pledge by the necessary amount (like +15 $ for Fire as she bears) before the deadline.

After the deadline, you will receive a survey asking you how your pledge is to be spent. It is at that moment that you will be able to stipulate that the additional 15$ were for getting Fire as she bears as an add-on.

Note that this is only my current understanding of how things work. I may be mistaken.

Hey guys, is the adding the money to get add-ons pre-ending thing new? When I backed Rappan Athuk- I could add in money at the time of the post KS survey for stuff (if I recall corectly). I was debating about the HeroLab/D20pro files, so was gonna think about it until the survey came in. If I need to make the decesion tonight I shall, but just wanted to make sure. Thanks!

Bottom line, we don't turn away sales. If during the survey you tell us - um yeah I meant to add that on, can I now - then we will accommodate and send an invoice for the remainder owed. Of course as stated above if you add it now to the Kickstarter everyone (including you) may benefit from future goals. Just a thought. Thank you for your support.

I was a pre-orderer, and was drawn into the project by Wayne's art. Not Bethany (as lovely as she it, although not a speck on BF in the KStarter vid! ;)) but the wereshark. Once I sae that art I did some research and got all the PDF's of Nic's I could, Indulgences etc. I was hooked. This is very dif stuff from my normal fair, OS modules and DCC and the Sword's & Sorcery series and RA etc. But wow thanks for pointing my gaming in a dif direction. Couldn't stand the thought of a pirate game but a horror set in a piratey type place, yes please. I then checked out Freeport, and MORE AWESOME!

What a sweet talker you are! Someone buy this man a drink. Speaking of Freeport... I think you'll like some of the surprises we are going to release when we hit 75% funded. I know, I know, I tease :p

Upped my pledge to add another book and some character pads. I wanted to get a S&W copy but then I remembered one of my friends making the mistake of saying that he wanted to try GMing and maybe doing a pirate themed campaign as something different. So even though it looks like I'm getting a copy as a gift for him, I really have ulterior motives which is ok as I hardly ever get to play as a PC (and I really want to try out a changling witch/gunslinger). Also, I want this thing funded so we can start digging for treasure!

On another note, now that you have Vaughn's "Slumbering Tsar" out and you're working on Logue's (with Lou Agresta) "Razor Coast" any plans to finish this trilogy of terror with an opus from Mr. Pett? A "Pettopus?"

Thanks for pledging John!

NO KICKSTARTERS FOR PETT! NOOOOOOOOO! Why must he have all that is mine! ;-)

Truthfully, I would snatch the chance to back anything from his deranged mind. But don't tell him that. He is a gift to the dark side in us all. Love that crazy Brit.

Well, we were going to wait to release this... but since Nick asked so nicely (Sorry Pett my trigger finger got happy)

Is there any chance of adding any no toys pledge levels/ I just cannot see myself paying money for the toy ships.

Like possibly a 425-450$ level the same as the 500$ level minus the 3 ships and mini.

425$ Buccaneer no toys: Both Pathfinder and Swords & Wizardry Signed & Numbered Hardcover Copies of Razor Coast w/ PDF, 2 Player's Guide w/ PDF, 2 pads of Character Sheets, both PF & SW EXCLUSIVE bonus modules by Casey Christofferson.

225$ Swashbuckler SW of Pathfinder no Mini: Swords & Wizardry or Pathfinder Signed & Numbered Hardcover Copies of Razor Coast w/ PDF, print Player's Guide w/ PDF, EXCLUSIVE bonus module by Casey Christofferson.

I am 100% on for this sort of pledge still, especially when you consider the shipping and labelling

Frog Gods .. International Shipping thought

Right now I think my total order value will be 130$ (or 150$ if shipping is included) customs starts hitting at about 120$ but.... at least in Korea customs does not charge for books (last I knew). I'm hoping you can label this as books as that is all I will be getting. When I pledge (I'm being lazy I'll get to it I promise!) I'll put a note in the comment field as well.

Does customs work this way for books anywhere else or is it a South Korea thing. I wondered if it would make a difference for others as well which is why I'm mentioning it here rather than just directly to them.

Thanks again for being great about the questions!

It works that way in the UK as well.

If I just get books from the KS, it would be incredibly helpful for the shipping to be labelled as "[X] books".

If it truly is just the books than we can mark it as so. The minute we add the mini or ships, etc we have to label it correctly. We cannot lie to customs as it is a very serious offense. However we will make sure the pledges with only books are labeled that way.

If Bill, Greg and Logue want Ebon Shroud to happen, I'm game.

There is an awful lot of dark nastiness in that one, and to be honest, it probably shoudln't see the light of day. If there's a wish to see it, however, perhaps it should slither into the daylight...

But I want a copy of Razor Coast as a perk.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Nicolas Logue’s Razor Coast
Frog God Games Announce Availability of
Nicolas Logue’s Razor Coast

A Kickstarter Project

New York & Washington — Nicolas Logue’s Razor Coast — Today online, Frog God Games announced the imminent launch of a Kickstarter Project, Nicolas Logue’s Razor Coast.

About Razor Coast
Razor Coast is the long anticipated Caribe-Polynesian flavored, Age of Sail swashbuckling RPG campaign envisioned and designed by Nicolas Logue. It is applauded for its ambitious and original design, its epic flavor and its lurid, full-color art – including a cover by the award winning Wayne Reynolds. Logue tapped a team of veteran designers to help develop and write Razor Coast, including Lou Agresta, Adam Daigle, Tim Hitchcock, and John Ling.

“Razor Coast isn’t just an adventure,” according to Agresta, Razor Coast Project Manager, “it’s part setting, part adventure path, and part toolkit to build your own unique campaign. It’s non-linear. It’ll never play the same way twice.”

“We filled it with corrupt municipal Dragoons, dastardly smuggling rings, weresharks – lots of weresharks, desperate naval battles, oppressed tribes craving heroes, witches, cursed islands, legendary treasure troves, an impending apocalypse or two, demon pirates, retired assassins, undead worms, gator men, failed heroes waiting to be redeemed, dark conspiracies brewing in the oceans depths, vengeful ghosts…oh – and mutating cannibal pygmies. Who doesn’t like those?”

Razor Coast Availability
“Frog God Games has committed to doing more than just putting out another pirate campaign,” said Rachel Ventura, Frog God Games VP of Sales and Marketing, “This is going to be a hardcover, full color extravaganza, complete with Player’s Guide and enough swag to sink any pirate ship!”

“We decided to take what we learned from Kickstarting Rappan Athuk and crowdsource Razor Coast, because it allows us to unleash a complete experience for both Pathfinder and Swords and Wizardry fans,” said Bill Webb, Frog God Games CEO.

“We plan to compile the campaign articles into their own book, create a player’s guide, develop and include an independent system for ship-to-ship combat, have treasure chests of unique pirate items, and offer a Tallship Cruise with the creator, Nicholas Logue,” stated Ventura. “We’re also planning stretch goals that include expanded art and cartography from the same artists the fans have already approved, as well as from new artists of similar style and talent, poster-sized printed maps, custom character sheets, and more.”

Frog God Games Razor Coast Kickstarter starts December 25th 2012 at midnight and will run for 30 days.

“After the Kickstarter gets funded, Frog God Games has pledged to fulfill not only the pledges from the backers but all remaining pre-orders, national and international” said Agresta, speaking on behalf of Logue. “As of October 19th, 2012, I finished honoring every refund request Nick received. Making good on Nick’s past obligations cleared the way for Frog God Games to step in and finally bring this to print.”

About Frog God Games
