Fluff:

Bjorn wasn't his name when he was born but rather when he was adopted by a kind woman in a Varisian Caravan. Bjorn was found lost in the wilds of the jungles of the Mwangi Expanse, but hasn't been back in the twenty years since he was adopted. He traveled the world with his Caravan family but eventually when he came of age his blood demanded that he prove himself in some way. It was because of this that he eventually became known as Bjorn the Hideous.

He dropped off from his caravan in Kintargo and made his way out of the city for two years. He spent his time roaming the vast lands along the Yolubilis River, Along the edge of Mount Spire, and even into the depths of the Ravounel Forest taking up challenges and mercenary work wherever he could take it. The work was dangerous despite the numbers of men that Bjorn worked alongside and he suffered many injuries including two blows with an axe to the face that would've killed a man. Thankfully, Bjorn was no "man" but a large, hulking, and muscular Nagaji. Still, the battles had left him with one eye he could no longer see out of, a chunk of the bone surround that eye missing with scarred tissue having grown over the area. That and the chunks missing from his hip and back, made him very...well hideous to most. However, he was proud of his wounds.

But still, the battles and the work did not sate his desire, his need to prove himself. He made his way back into the port of Kintargo and tried to find the call his blood yearned for. It was there that he watched the suffering of the people, particularly those of the slums. He was humbled by the work and the dangers that Strea Vestori put herself in to try and make things better for the people of the slums and it's where he decided that he'd found his calling. So it began that he began taking odd jobs in an effort to help the Devil's Nursery.

This is Vitaliano's submission. A Nagaji Barbarian who yearns to find his calling in life. Having been a mercenary for a few years, he came back to Kintargo to find his calling and found admiration in Strea Vestori's work.

He is a Barbarian, so he is going to be a nasty front liner but can switch between being a pure offensive character to actually having some Defense and demoralizing his enemies.

Future goals are for 5th level take the feat Call Out and Intimidating Prowess later on to "tank" as best you can in Pathfinder. The Urban Barbarian archetype allows him to keep his humanity instead of giving wholey into his rage for when he needs to still be smart and careful amongst the populus but still allows him to fully "Hulk" out and let his blood boil over when he needs to.

Apologies that the fluff isn't too amazing, he's only 3rd level and I try not go over fluff for low level characters.

The extra Bombs is his level 1 feat. Martial Prof Longbow is from the Alchemist (Grenadier) archtype. They are only proficient in simple weapons and bombs but get to choose one free Martial weapon to be proficient with.

Throw anything is a Free Alchemist feat.

Edit: I didn't read anything from the other players sso I didn't know anyone else was going somewhat similar backstory route. Gorthug, while our "reason" for being a "son of Gruumsh" concept is different. (Yours is more ordained/dedicated to, vs mine was more binding contract with a daemon posing or a servant of Gruumsh himself scenario...) I don't want to step on your toes since I didn't know that you had started that route.

If you wish I can adjust/change my character concept. I just chose it because of the whole Tiefling heritage. If we're both selected and you wish for me to adjust, I will be glad to.

Son of a Orc witch doctor, he was born after the witch doctor pledged herself to Gruumsh life and all. She spent three years in holy ritual praying and attempting to summon the strength from the very God himself to send forth and spread the Orc Territory and Honor far and wide, to give to the tribe a sign that they were blessed and destined for greatness.

And so he was brought into the world and his mother perished in the process. A hideous Orc by any standards, but he carried intelligence beyond their species normalcy. Despite this, he is humbled about the story of his origins (even if they couldn't possibly be true) and thus has dedicated his life to live up to the expectations placed upon him by his mother story...and the mystery and 'prophecy' surrounding him.

Biggest thing I am trying to find is a list of what is and isn't legal, book wise. I have a lot of the companion books and supplements so I don't know what isn't allowed since I have always done non society.

O.o Did not know this was PFS. Well this is gonna cause me some strife. Give me a gibt to review current rules and such as I have no clue what's allowed and what's not for new creation.

If I can still toss in, I'd like to throw in rebuilding this guy. So heavy on the damage dealing.

Leaning either on Barbarian Mad Dog or Ranger two handed with an animal companion.

I do have another concept that I threw out before on a different Campaign, it was a Dwarven Barbarian Exile who got drunk, took on a group of orcs by leading a rampaging group of oxen into them, and then stealing the Musk Ox, Corporal Moo who got promoted for killing the leader on his way out. His name is Fosead GreatBelly

Bjorn snorts "Some warrior, sounds more like the sniveling of powerless cowards." he said in a semi hushed tone.

Bjorn snorts and steps around the corner "Why have you stolen children as brides, that alone is reason enough for me to invade." he states as he stares at the large one in a bit of a snarl. But otherwise doesn't appear to be ready to dispense justice yet upon the creatures.

Bjorn followed along as patiently as he could. This was all new territory for him and he was beginning to get annoyed as well as tired. They had been fighting and working for some time and he was used to a few small skirmishes a day or perhaps even a large attack on a group of bandits.

He trudged along all the same walking behind them. Talking of nonsense about if the woman could be saved and such while she did such unspeakable things as pretending corpses were living beings and needing of her care, he shook his head. It'd perhaps be best if she was just dealt a quiet death than trying to save her soul to suffer on after all that she had seen to become how she was...or at least that's how he thought about the situation now. Still, he didn't voice his thoughts as he felt it wasn't his place in this group.

He looked around the room a bit as they moved about and even peered over the ledges as they continued their conversations moving along with Aaroo in the back.

Perception: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (15) + 13 = 28

CLW pokes: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
CLW pokes: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8
CLW pokes: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7
CLW pokes: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
CLW pokes: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8

28 will bring him back above half...I think we're gonna have close to end on night soon so toeing the line of 25 to 50% sounds reasonable resource wise. Also, Bjorn ain't gonna ask for more than keeps him slightly on his feet. At least until told we're using them cause they'll just go to waste by morning bit.

Bjorn stands up slowly after a few pokes and soon waves off the cleric after a couple more. He snorts "Enough, I can stand up to another giantess like this." he said, cracking his neck and picking back up his spear. He patted the wolf who seemed a bit damaged but not out for the count as well.

He nodded to the others and listened for a moment to the singing before striding towards it confidently. He'd never really experienced kindness and music before so while the noises soothed the others, it brought up feelings that confused the primitive.

I apologize for the character trope. He's a rough person to like or love...and has a hard time offering thanks and praise for a job well done. Now give a good stab and drop the foe he was having trouble with and he'll clap you on the back and give you a swing from the bloodshine he might be making at camp.

Still here...on the ground...not budging cause need heals pretty bad before doing another fight or Bjorn is likely to go down like a sack of potatoes the first hit.

Bjorn heaves a bit and rolls away from the creature panting heavily on the ground. He was growing weaker the longer this day went and the amount of blood on his body was not a satisfactory percent of enemies to his own. He reached out from where he lay and grabbed his spear.

Bjorn continues to pummel the beast and Arrrooo continues to bite.

Punch: 1d20 + 10 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 10 + 4 = 15

Damage if hit: 1d3 + 16 ⇒ (1) + 16 = 17

Punch: 1d20 + 10 + 4 - 5 ⇒ (14) + 10 + 4 - 5 = 23

Damage if hit: 1d3 + 16 ⇒ (3) + 16 = 19

Bite: 1d20 + 10 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 10 + 4 = 21

Damage if hit: 2d6 + 10 ⇒ (4, 1) + 10 = 15

Bite: 1d20 + 10 + 4 - 5 ⇒ (13) + 10 + 4 - 5 = 22

Damage if hit: 2d6 + 10 ⇒ (2, 2) + 10 = 14

I added the grapple condition on my attacks. But I don't know if we're tripped as well given we tripped the grappler....if not the he gets a -4 for his AC on top of the -2 to his AC for grapping. If we are considered tripped, then tack on the -4 for for melee while prone

Minus one from each of those attacks..and reduce the damage to a 1d3 instead 1d8...I forgot that I'm shoved into doing fracking punches.

Spear: 1d20 + 12 + 4 ⇒ (13) + 12 + 4 = 29

Damage if hit: 1d8 + 16 ⇒ (2) + 16 = 18

Spear-5: 1d20 + 12 + 4 - 5 ⇒ (14) + 12 + 4 - 5 = 25

Damage if hit: 1d8 + 16 ⇒ (6) + 16 = 22

Bite: 1d20 + 12 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 12 + 4 = 17

Damage if hit: 2d6 + 10 ⇒ (3, 2) + 10 = 15

Trip if hit: 1d20 + 14 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 14 + 4 = 26

Bite-5: 1d20 + 12 + 4 - 5 ⇒ (13) + 12 + 4 - 5 = 24

Damage if hit: 2d6 + 10 ⇒ (4, 1) + 10 = 15

Trip if hit: 1d20 + 14 + 4 - 5 ⇒ (10) + 14 + 4 - 5 = 23

I'm not sure if the -5 applies to the second trip attempt...that's something I've never been fully sure of with wolves...

Bjorn and the wolf go into a whirl of activity as they stab at and bite the creature multiple times.

Blur is still in effect unless 9 minutes have already passed.

Fort save Arrrooo: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (12) + 10 = 22

Fort Save Bjorn: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (12) + 9 = 21

It took Bjorn a second before he realised what had been done before he nodded and moved quickly to the other side of the monster.

He made a quick noise to urge his beast into attacking before attacking himself.

Spear Stab: 1d20 + 12 + 4 ⇒ (16) + 12 + 4 = 32

Damage if hit: 1d8 + 16 ⇒ (2) + 16 = 18

Bite attack: 1d20 + 12 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 12 + 4 = 20

Damage if hit: 2d6 + 10 ⇒ (5, 2) + 10 = 17

Trip if hit: 1d20 + 14 + 4 ⇒ (14) + 14 + 4 = 32

Bjorn whips out his spear and prepares himself for combat...for he has no other way to contribute at this point!

Bjorn snorts as he steps around the room and up to the fish tank, peering into it. "And...where is this man, where is this creature? I care not his past, I need his present." he said snarling at the corpse of a man.

He thought for a moment and brought the wolf up to the book to try and scent it.

Tracking aid another: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (11) + 1 = 12

Bjorn tracking with help: 1d20 + 15 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 15 + 2 = 22

Would've been better off just doing it myself...

Bjorn stands up now thast it seems the human is done babble and in his right mind. He comes up and claps the man on the shoulder with perhaps a bit too much heft.

"It is alright, one's blood can do many things to a man in the throws of battle. You will learn with experience to harness and control it better I'm sure."

Bjorn sits on the giant and starts to breath a bit heavy. He looks up at the others and watches as they wait for their companion to gather his mind again.

Once his own breathing is back under control and the others seem confident, he stands up using his spear. "The blood has grown weak this day. I cannot call upon it's power any longer. We must hurry for the effects of my blood still remain to protect me for a small while longer." he said as he looked down at the stairs. He grunts and points the wolf in that direction.

Arrrooo ascends the stairs followed closely by Bjorn, they however pause at the bottom to make sure the others are coming.

Bjorn catches the sudden rush of air and the scent of outdoors. He turns slightly and see's his prey's attempt to run, it only seems to cause the scaled twisted man to turn even angrier as he slides up under the long arm and chokes the doorway with his own mass.

He howls in fury before his claws flash out once more.

Claw: 1d20 + 13 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 13 + 4 = 25

Damage if hit: 1d6 + 16 ⇒ (1) + 16 = 17

Claw: 1d20 + 13 + 4 ⇒ (11) + 13 + 4 = 28

Damage if hit: 1d6 + 16 ⇒ (6) + 16 = 22

The howls, attract and spur the wolf to squeeze past the others and push into the room. AoO from the Giant and anyone who might wanna stop the big fella

The wolf sees his master and smells the blood of his friend on the creatures club and attacks!

Bite attempt!: 1d20 + 12 + 6 ⇒ (6) + 12 + 6 = 24

Damage if hit: 2d6 + 10 ⇒ (5, 3) + 10 = 18

Trip if bite!: 1d20 + 14 + 4 ⇒ (12) + 14 + 4 = 30

Bjorn howls in angry and pain and continues his onslaught after stepping up to the beast.

Claw: 1d20 + 13 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 13 + 2 = 29

Damage if hit: 1d6 + 16 ⇒ (4) + 16 = 20

Claw: 1d20 + 13 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 13 + 2 = 18

Damage if hit: 1d6 + 16 ⇒ (1) + 16 = 17

Apologies, I did mention before fight that I had activated blur but I did not put some kind of addendum in my last post that it was active to help us both remember...might I get a roll for miss chance?

Also...there is only one enemy on the field Caesar. The dog is my animal companion. Sweet Jesus that 20ft reach though given the longspear O.o.

Bjorn steps up and into a good flanking position before unleashing the fury of his blood.

Claw: 1d20 + 13 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 13 + 2 = 24
If hit: 1d6 + 16 ⇒ (2) + 16 = 18

Claw: 1d20 + 13 + 2 ⇒ (13) + 13 + 2 = 28
If Hit: 1d6 + 16 ⇒ (6) + 16 = 22

AC is now 23, should be flanking with the cleric at the moment but I am assuming large sized Caesare would be attempting to attack this round and would be useful as a flanking buddy as well..so if he needed to slightly pause in order to get such flank he would've before Raging against the Giantess.

Bjorn lifts his hands as he makes his way into the room to protect his face as best he can as he starts moving around the giantess.

Double Moving, no rage first round, blur active.Ac is 25 for this round.

Is only gonna fetch the pooch but that's about it for him. Maybe cast blur on himself before kicking the door open.

Bjorn just stares at them. "Ah yes...scribbles. Wonderful things to ponder. These are different then the ones I'm used to seeing." he said nodding.

He turns from them, whistles for the Hound of his once more and then looks up at the attic.

Bjorn trades blows with the ethereal beast!

Claw: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (18) + 13 = 31
Damage if hit: 1d6 + 16 ⇒ (5) + 16 = 21
Claw 2: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (18) + 13 = 31
Damage if hit: 1d6 + 16 ⇒ (2) + 16 = 18

I think they are magical due to amulet of mighty fists? Otherwise nothing special that I can find

Fort save: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (9) + 13 = 22 +2 if it's considered Evil in the effect

Bjorn roars at the nearest beast as he flies into a rage and steps forwards.

Claw: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (8) + 13 = 21
Damage if hit: 1d6 + 16 ⇒ (2) + 16 = 18
Claw 2: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (6) + 13 = 19
Damage if hit: 1d6 + 16 ⇒ (6) + 16 = 22

Bjorn did not enjoy the feeling of this room. He whistled for Arrrooo to join him. Hopefully the wolf would be smart enough to follow his trail than to just rampage through the place till it found him.

Bjorn began to get aggravated at the silence and the length at which these men contemplated something as simple as a parasite. He snorted and walked forwards pushing the others back a fair bit. He stared at them to make sure that they indeed were back far enough and gotten the hint before he yanked the drawer open with some force.

Fort Save: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (18) + 9 = 27

Bjorn stands there looking confused as to why the others are just standing around this desk. He snorts and looks at them. "This is not worth our efforts. If you are afraid to open the desk, I would be happy to throw it to the ground below and we can pick through the rubble as we leave." he said tilting his head unsure why they were so scared of a little mold.

Bjorn believes in brute strength!

Knowledge Nature: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (14) + 9 = 23

Bjorn takes a few moments to look at the items as he is packing them away. He stops and looks at the odd soapstone pip and tilts his head. He looks back at the humans in the room. "What is with the odd practice of giving mammaries to everything in art? Is nature's choice in design not good enough for viewing pleasure?" he asked as he held the pipe.

Bjorn stands up after all the poking with the wand is done, having caught his breathe. He stretches and cracks a few joints. "Good...the evil is purged. We should move forth." he said as he began to pick up all the nonsense and start stuffing it into his pack to carry.

Of course should anyone stop him, he's more than happy to omit objects going into the pack. And there is thirteen rounds of identifying/appraising available.

Bjorn stomps angrily from slug to slug, slapping the ones that reach his skin with enough force to smash them against his thick hide. Once he is sure there is nothing left of the nefarious...hell he wasn't sure what all that business was but once things went quiet again, only then did he sit and rest.

I think...possibly I may be being an idiot and looking at the ranged damage for the second attack. >.> I was gonna look it over and double check it wasn't a situational modifier of some kind...but I'm afraid I'm 90% sure I'm just an idiot this time. Add...another 11 damage to that second attack thankfully that's the first one that hit of his second attacks.

Bjorn is practically painted in his own blood at this point, but he continues to press the attack.

Mwk Spear attack: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (15) + 14 = 29

Mwk Spear attack 2: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (19) + 9 = 28

Damage: 1d8 + 18 ⇒ (8) + 18 = 26

Damage: 1d8 + 7 ⇒ (2) + 7 = 9

Bjorn gets bashed left and right by the tentacles but it seems the beast still can't wrap him up. He heaves as he stabs at the creature again and again.

Stabbity: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (17) + 14 = 31

AGAIN!: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (8) + 9 = 17

Damage: 1d8 + 18 ⇒ (1) + 18 = 19

Damage: 1d8 + 7 ⇒ (3) + 7 = 10

Bjorn slapped the tentacle away from his body as the other attacks glanced off the magically treated bones. He tilted his head as he stared at what had been his human opponent.

He pulled his spear from his back and looked at the creature, well...it at least looked like a fishmonster so a spear was quite fitting.

He lunged.

Mwk Spear attack: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (15) + 14 = 29

Mwk Spear attack 2: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (1) + 9 = 10

Damage: 1d8 + 18 ⇒ (5) + 18 = 23

Damage: 1d8 + 7 ⇒ (3) + 7 = 10

Welp, totally a perfect time for me to have dropped out of rage....facepalm. This will be interesting.

Will save: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (14) + 7 = 21

Claws: 1d20 + 20 - 4 ⇒ (1) + 20 - 4 = 17
Claws: 1d20 + 20 - 4 ⇒ (10) + 20 - 4 = 26

Damage: 1d6 + 19 ⇒ (5) + 19 = 24
Damage: 1d6 + 19 ⇒ (5) + 19 = 24

Bjorn slams his fists down hard upon the enemy once more before he begins to huff and puff. He could feel the anger of his blood draining and the pool of power from which he beckoned such strength getting low. He would have to finish this fight without his blood's strength if it continued any longer.

Bjorn lets out a scream of rage and pain and begins digging his claws into his foe in earnest.

Claws: 1d20 + 20 - 4 ⇒ (18) + 20 - 4 = 34
Claws: 1d20 + 20 - 4 ⇒ (3) + 20 - 4 = 19

Damage: 1d6 + 19 ⇒ (5) + 19 = 24
Damage: 1d6 + 19 ⇒ (4) + 19 = 23

Bjorn steps up, letting the rage of his blood coarse though his viens as he steps up and gives the man a righteous punch in his throat for speaking of an evil god in front of him.

Claw+charge?: 1d20 + 21 - 4 ⇒ (15) + 21 - 4 = 32
Damage: 1d6 + 16 ⇒ (1) + 16 = 17
Second claw if I didn't need to move: 1d20 + 19 - 4 ⇒ (14) + 19 - 4 = 29
Damage: 1d6 + 16 ⇒ (1) + 16 = 17

Take 2 extra off the first attack if I didn't have to move.

Bjorn spies the man as the door opens and he snarls before pouncing on him and attempting to catch the man up in a grapple.

Grapple check: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (5) + 14 = 19

Welp....of course I roll low. Sigh, would've made a great way to say hello and disarm a man.

Bjorn looks at the old man and grabs him, throwing him over his shoulder before climbing up to the second story. He stands up and looks at Sonny. "Death...is coming?" he asked confused.

Bjorn takes a few deep breathes before standing up from where he had leaned against a wall. He gives a small nod to Sonny. "If it's not going to kill me in the next few hours, then I shall be fine for now. We should move around those ticks..." he said as he popped his neck and back before looking ready to move again.

Retreat, I got nothing big time

Fort Save: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (6) + 10 = 16
Fort save: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (8) + 10 = 18

Bjorn hisses loudly as he withdraws.

Drop rage, withdraw out the room.
