Funny that it looks like most of the naysayers in this thread are subscribers to multiple product lines. I don't believe that any of them are really done with Pathfinder. I want to see some Bluff checks.

Wow. I imagine everyone who remembers the Barrier Peaks stuff will be immediately adding this to their wish list.

Nice to see Mr. Spicer is in demand and keeping busy with the writing projects. Way to go!

Try the Beginner Box

Welcome to this wonderful hobby and this fine community. If you're just starting out, the Beginner Box is a great product. Jumping right into an adventure path and the core rules will probably be overwhelming. RPGs are also kind of tough with a GM and just one player so you should start thinking of friends you can recruit as well.

Enjoy.

Boy, there are a lot of activist judges rushing in where angels fear to tread.
Definition of "activist judge". A court that makes a decision the poster does not like.

I was thinking the same thing. How does deciding a case in accordance with the Constitution and in light of existing case law make a judge an activist?

Lagavulin & Laphroiag are two of my favorites, although Oban is my go to stuff more often than not. I also was recently given a bottle of Spinnaker, which is new to me, and quite nice. I'll take them all basically neat, with just a drop of water.

For bourbon, I have to go with Elmer T. Lee, and please, for the love of Cayden Cailean, don't mention that honey flavored crap in the same breath as the words "good bourbon." Seriously.

Also, don't get me going as to Southern Comfort, which as far as I'm concerned is a candy flavored drink and not whisky/ey at all.

Grappling

It's REALLY complicated, is like none of the other attack actions or subsystems, and is either totally useless (most cases) or extremely broken (when optimized to the extreme). Also, monsters with multiple attacks and grab special ability got the short end of the stick.

This. Grappling, FTW. Even with the D20 SRD Flowchart, it's a headache that takes too long to resolve.

There's the sticky thread On PBPs: A General Discussion for all PBPers in the Play-by-post Discussion forum as well.

As for my $.02, as a player, I always try to think of what I can post that will possibly move the story along. Sometimes, that's just posting whatever you can (Keliwyn shuffles his feet and readjusts his pack) just to get others posting. The #1 killer of pbp is everyone waiting for someone else to post. So, post early, post often, post whatever.

Due to some magical force from another dimension, have them all switch bodies . . . and I don't mean just switch PCs. Mix up the character sheets and hand them out randomly, and tell them they each need to roleplay their character in another character's body.

Or have eac member of the party inflicted with different combinations of blindess/deafness/invisibility.

Of jump them forward in time to D20 Modern.

Or just turn them into pixies. Or smurfs.
