This might be the time I finally start to poke at Starfinder! Can anyone confirm if domestic shipping is less than 20?

When they did the PF2e one the shipping was only $9 for me in FL, US. So it should be less than $20, I'd guess between $10 and $15 since it's the box and a book.

Thank you so much. It's back.

Hello, a couple months back, through what I guess was a glitch, I was able to purchase The Mwangi Expanse. Shortly after that it disappeared from my digital content section. I assumed someone fixed whatever glitch let me grab it early.
But now that the book is offically out, I thought it would return to my digital content but it has not. And the store still says I purchased it.

Can someone please restore my access to Mwangi Expanse? Thank you.

Is there any way to get some better organization for the My Downloads page? At minimum identify items that are PF 1st, PF 2nd, or Starfinder?
Because right now I have two different Beginner Boxes and the only way to differentiate them is by the Date Last updated.

I have the Core Rulebook and Bestiary under "Rulebooks." APG is under "Hardcovers." Bestiary 2 and GMG under the heading "Second Edition Rulebooks." If this could be organized like they are in the store all under "Rulebooks."

Ideally I'd like to be able to filter out games by edition, easily collapse different topics and generally just group everything better.

This would help me find materials more easily, keep track of what I own and what don't own and generally greatly improve the usability of that page.

This was a fun module, but that last combat is a doozy. I can see it scaring away some new players to have that deadly of an encounter in a system they may just be learning for the first time.

I had an issue with this order in that it somehow attached to a defunct old CC number. I eventually got that resolved and thought it'd straighten itself out, but I see now the order is still pending.

Can someone give it nudge to get it charged and shipped please.

Grand Lodge

The orders finally went through correctly. Thank you.

Grand Lodge

I'm sorry to post about this here after I've already emailed about it, but I don't want to lose the order.

I ordered this back at Paizo con and it shipped in 3 phases, 2 phases worked perfectly, the third for some reason failed to charge, so it went back to an even older, already expired payment method and when I told it to retry on the then current card, it tried that older payment method instead.

Now in July that card was deactivated by my bank and I was issued a new one. So now Paizo says I currently have 4 payment methods on files but only the most recent one will actually work. I've tried updating the payment method but that seems only to allow changing the expiration date. Can you remove all the expired cards from my account and run my current orders on the only current card. I have this one, a subscription payment, (31871401) and a humble bundle book order (31523363) all pending, only one showing the correct payment method.

For a while now I have had three modules of pregen that gave me an Axe Beak companion and I think I've finally decided what I want to do with it.

I'm thinking a Spellscar Drifter (Dune Drifter by the SRD) Cavalier mounted on the Axe beak.

For race, I was thinking human, but then I wouldn't be able to use it as a mount until level 4. Would it be worth going as a halfling or other small race instead so I can ride it sooner?

Does this sound like a good idea mechanically? Any recommended feat progressions or other archetypes to combine. Basically I have no idea what I'm doing and haven't played a cavalier or gunslinger before.

I'm assuming the axe beak is mainly to keep mobile and attack anyone that does get in melee with me.

There doesn't seem to be a good Cavalier guide that I could find. The only one I found says you can't use the gun for challenge, but PF people have clarified that it can.

Grand Lodge

I did not play the modules as Core. Kind of wish I had.

I've been playing since 2e with a good large portion of it being 3.0/3.5. I've played every class at least one or twice so I wanted to play something that was uniquely Pathfinder. Lately I've been playing a lot of big dumb fighters in 5e and other games. I don't want to do another one of those.
I like playing support characters and ranged characters mostly. I don't like managing huge spell lists, so I avoid Wizards, but like having a few spells to enhance my character or as back up. And I Hate only getting 2 skill points per level. So, like healing / buffing cleric, ranged ranger, or fighters with options (like those in 3.5 Book of nine swords, if you're familiar) are probably my favorites from D&D esque systems.

I think because I'm so varied is part of my issue, i came into pathfinder late so there's all these different options. Okay, thinking solely about a character...

Let's say he's a foppish, lesser noble forced to work with the sovereign court or he'll lose his place in line for the throne. He has book knowledge but little experience in the world (to play to my own naivete of the pathfinder setting). As to class, I don't know. Cavalier could actually work for for that. What else Alchemist maybe? Medium might be interesting, if his father is his spirit. Any thoughts?

Grand Lodge

Oh, ok. I finally understand. Since I get the axe beak, I don't get it as it is in the stat block. I have to look back in the appendix to see the animal companion stats.

I've looked at the cavalier and the samurai. Samurai with a naginata sounds interesting, but I'm just not feeling a character come together. Maybe I'm just not strong enough on the rules. I like that the cavalier shares the teamwork feats but not much beyond that.

The Axe Beak seems interesting stat wise but thinking of riding or fighting alongside a glorified ostrich seems a bit ridiculous.

I dunno. God, trying to create a pathfinder character is so frustrating for me.

I was pretty well set on doing a Warpriest or sacred fist warpriest prior to getting the axebeak, maybe I'll try to stick with that, though people seem to think there errata makes them less viable. I give up. I was thinking of saving Ranger to do PFS Core, but maybe I'll do that. I liked the character well enough, even though I never got high enough level to get spells. Gah, can I just keep playing pregens?

Grand Lodge

There's very few limitations on the character. It's a twenty point buy using any race from the PHB or the kitsune, tengu, nagaji, or wayang.

And I'd like to limit how many different books it came from since I only have the core rulebook, apg, acg, uc, and will have to buy the bestiary III to use it.

The axe beak is described as the version out of the bestiary III, which is listed as a large creature. Does that give it any advantage over the axe beak the druid or hunter gets? I don't really care about it being better just wondering.

Grand Lodge

So, I've played some Pathfinder Society games now and all three I played as a pregen character in a series of modules that gave me an Axe Beak as an animal companion or mount (I think, I don't have the sheet in front of me)

So I know the first time I play this character he'll be set in stone because once you play at 2nd level you can't dhange the character aside from standard retraining rules.

Is the Axe Beak worth building the character around? It seemed like a neat story thing, but I don't know if it's a good animal companion compared to a wolf or great cat or something.

If I do decide to build around the Axe Beak, what's a good way to do so? The pregen I played was the warpriest. Would a paladin be comparable to that and have a mount? What about a Hunter, that looks like an interesting class but I don't know enough about the system to know if I'm making awful choices.

What would you do for a level 2 PFS character with potential for an Axe Beak? Thanks for any help you can give.

Grand Lodge

Is the two-handed fighter with vital strike actually still interesting in play? I don't want a character that can only do one thing either.

Paladin might work. Gunslinger or Magus is a no go then?

Grand Lodge

So I've been invited to a game next week for a Pathfinder one-shot.
But I have a small problem. While I do have quite a bit of RPG experience, I've only played around 6 sessions of Pathfinder. All at low level.

Now I did play 3.5 as a cleric up to level 8 or 9, but that was over half a decade ago.

So I'm wondering what i can do for a 10th level pathfinder character, 25 point buy, human (or half-human) 62000 gp character that will be powerful but not overly fiddly.

Any more I play lighter systems like Apocalypse World or Cortex+ games, so I don't want to have to remember a pile of different things that will be +1 here and +2 there, but at the same time I don't want a boring one note character.

Just from skimming the books, I'd like to try maybe an inquisitor or gunslinger. Would those work? What classes/archetypes would best suit what I'm looking for? What woulld you play given the above guidelines?

Just stay ranger? Fighter would be a good dip for more feats.

Also, keep in mind for bond: Unless your doing the ally bond, get Boon Companion.

Well Fighter nets me 2 feats

Divine Hunter Ranger Paladin nets me two feats, + to will save, detect evil, and possibly smite.

Ranger nets me two feats, but one of them is endurance, my first infiltrator power, and one level closer to companion and spells.

So, Fighter's right out.

Divine Hunter dip or stay Ranger?

Grand Lodge

In my first PF game, My half-orc ranger just reached level 3 and I'm considering dipping in another class, but I'm kind of split 3 ways.
right now he's 18 STR, 18 dex, 11 con 13 int 15 wis 10 cha (rolled stats)
his first two feats are
1. Quick Draw
2b. Rapid Shot.

I've been playing him as a switch hitter

I could go Fighter 1 and pick up 2 feats. PBS and precise shot, if I want to focus on archery or Power Attack and ??? for melee.

Or

Divine Hunter Paladin 1 would give me precise shot, Power attack and...
Would I still get to ignore DR with smite, even though I don't get a bonus.

Or

Ranger 3 favored terrain (infiltrator maybe?) and get bond and spells sooner.

Which way should I go? Anything else I should consider? Was considring monk, but I don't want to lose the BAB.

Grand Lodge

What is the difference between a spell-less ranger and a skirmisher ranger?
