The ape has claw, claw, bite natural attacks; which ones are primary/secondary attacks?

Why can't the companion have power attack at Lvl 1. It has BAB +1 at lvl 1 and STR 15 right away because of eye for talent.

I changed the companion to an ape so my big dumb barbarian would be the "missing link" in the evolution, and I thought that having the climb speed might be helpful out of combat.

Can kangaroos be mounts?

And Superstition is a go for this character.

I do like the flavor of the Mad Dog and I want the companion right away which the Mad Dog gives me. I was looking over the companions again and I think the Kangaroo would be hilarious. (FEROCIOUS KANGAROO)

I don't think that "loosing" rage powers is a big deal because the Extra Rage power feat I am not really loosing any; and every other time I've played a Barbarian (which is a lot as it is my favorite class) I never know what to do with half of my feats anyways...power attack and don't look back.

I haven't talked to my DM about this build yet so I'm going to see assume that dinos aren't allowed and go with one of the more traditional companions but I'm still open to changing it from a tiger if there are better options out there' I haven't seen any other one that get pounce though. However your companion build looks great and I think that it fits with the idea that I had in mind for this character.

On Superstition I really am on the fence about it and I think that I need to re-read and re-evaluate.

I don't really like Superstitious because I don't want to save vs buffs from allies and I don't think that CAGM fits thematically with the character vision that I had in mind to be highly mobile and double pounce almost every round. but I like the build otherwise.
so:
Human with Eye for Talent

1 Power Attack
3 Combat Reflexes)
4 (RP) Ferocious Beast
5 Extra Rage Power (Lesser Beast Totem)
7 Extra Rage Power (Beast Totem)
8 (RP) Greater Ferocious Beast
9 Extra Rage Power- Reckless Abandon
11 Extra Rage Power- Beast Totem Greater
12 (RP) Strengh Surge
13 Dazing Assault
15 Extra Rage Power:
16 (RP) Flesh Wound
17 ?
19 ?
20 ?

I think that having 2 suns is a cool idea then in the summer months both suns would be visible and during the winter months one could go behind the other giving the world extreme weather variations.

I know that this Archetype isn't the most optimized but I really like the idea of me and my companion pouncing together. Here's what I have so far.

Human
1 Power Attack Human-Furious Focus
3 ??
4 (RP) Reckless Abandon
5 ??
7 ??
8 (RP) Lesser Beast Totem
9 Extra Rage Power- Beast Totem
11 Extra Rage Power- Beast Totem Greater
12 (RP) Inspire Ferocity
13 ??
15 ??
16 (RP) ??
17 ??
19 ??
20 ??

I'm thinking a Tiger animal companion for the dual pounce but while typing this the idea popped into my head to have a wolf for the trip and added AoO. any advice is welcome.

7 planets 7 moons

I vote #10 as Barbarians are my favorite class and how can you get more savage than that.

So I was just wondering if any one had any ideas on how to get my wife to game with my group?

So I was thinking TWF with tonfa or wakazashis using http://d20minmax.wikia.com/wiki/Crit_Fiend
However GM said that I don't need proficiency for them b/c it is a common weapon in the world. Any advice would be helpful.

what I was thinking for tactics was to TWF most of the time (or as much as situations allow) and if I really need to hit something with a higher AC just two hand the waraxe. But since this is just a concept build the urgosh lets me do the same thing a lot easier.

The level 4 Stat increase goes to dex and after that magic items should cover dex requirements for TWF. other than that do you have any feat suggestions?

So this isn't really for a game it's just for fun so we'll say 25 point buy. The concept I'm going for is wielding a Dwarven Waraxe and handaxe. It doesn't need to be optimized but functional is always good. Here's what I was thinking.
STR 16
DEX 16
CON 16
INT 10
WIS 12
CHA 8
After racial adjustments
Feats:
1 TWF, power attack
2 Weapon Focus (dwarven waraxe)
3 ?
4 Weapon Specialization
5 ?
6 Improved TWF
any advice would be helpful thanks

for the stats all start at 15 and you can 1 for 1 exchange points for one stat to another. so after racial mods this is what I have:

STR 22
DEX 16
CON 18
INT 10
WIS 12
CHA 10

Sure lets start there.

I made two characters b/c I didn't know what I wanted to play and now I don't know which one is better and I want to play them both...sooo I leave it to those of you who are more gifted mathematically than I am to tell me which is better:
Orc Invulnerable Rager
STR 22
DEX 16
CON 18
INT 10
WIS 12
CHA 10
Feats
1 Power attack
3 Weapon Focus
5 Furious Focus
7 Intimidating Prowess
9 Cornugon Smash
11 Combat Reflexes
13 Stand Still
15 Dreadful Carnage
17 Dazing Assault
19 Pushing Assault
Rage Powers
2 Superstition
4 Beast Totem Lesser
6 Beast Totem
8 Reckless Abandon
10 Beast Totem Greater
12 Come and Get Me
14 Quick Reflexes
16 Increased DR
18 Increased DR
20 Increased DR

Fighter as follows same stats as before:
1 power attack, weapon focus Falchion
2 Furious focus
3 Intimidating prowess
4 weapon specialization
5 dazzling display
6 improved bull rush
7 greater bull rush
8 greater weapon focus
9 critical focus
10 improved critical
11 bleeding critical
12 greater weapon specialization
13 staggering critical
14 critical mastery
15 blinding critical
16 bull rush strike
17 stunning critical

6 Beast Totem
8 Reckless Abandon
10 Beast Totem Greater
12 Come and Get Me
14 Quick Reflexes
16 Increased DR
18 Increased DR
20 Increased DR

What book is Dreadful Carnage in?
EDIT never mind I found it

my thoughts on vital strike was to use it with come and get me b/c you only get one attack for AoO
And I took both quick reflexes AND combat reflexes

Alright here's the build that I think is gonna be the one that I play:
Orc Invulnerable Rager

STR 22

8 Reckless Abandon
10 Beast Totem Greater
12 Come and Get Me
14 Quick Reflexes
16 Increased DR
18 Increased DR
20 Increased DR

Critique away

what would be the best level to dip in unbreakable fighter?

are you refering to the stalwart defender PrC?

what book is that in?

so I was looking at the archetypes a little more because this character still didn't have the feel I had in mind for the concept... I really liked the idea of the unbreakable but the build didn't work the way it should so now I'm thinking that I should sword and board with the Armor Master. I know that S&B is feat intensive and I'm not really sure where to start.

EDIT: if you have any ideas on how to make a fighter into "you can TRY to kill/hurt me but it won't work" Juggernaut I'm open to your thoughts.

you make a valid point Aelryinth so rebuild time:

Crit fighter as follows same stats as before:

1 power attack, weapon focus Falchion
2 Furious focus
3 Intimidating prowess
4 weapon specialization
5 dazzling display
6 improved bull rush
7 greater bull rush
8 greater weapon focus
9 critical focus
10 improved critical
11 bleeding critical
12 greater weapon specialization
13 staggering critical
14 critical mastery
15 blinding critical
16 bull rush strike
17 stunning critical
18 Grudge fighter
19 Iron Will
20 improved iron will

any advice or let me know if you see any issues with the build mainly the 16-20 feat choices

the build i have so far is:
Race: Orc
STR 22
DEX 16
CON 18
INT 8
WIS 16
CHA 8

I'm taking the Unbreakable Archetype

Feats
1 Power Attack
2 Furious Focus
3 Weapon focus Earth Breaker
4 Weapon Specialization
5 Intimidating Prowess
6 Deathless Initiate
7 Ironhide
8 Greater Weapon Focus
9 Deathless Master
10 Dazzling Display
11 Shatter Defenses
12 Greater Weapon Specialization
13 Deathless Zealot
14 Improved Sunder
15 Greater Sunder
At this point I'm just going to fill in what I think might be good but I've already achieved my character concept
16 Gory Finish
17 Flanking Foil
18 Improved Initiative
19 Deadly Finish
20 Hammer the Gap
So 16-20 are replaceable if you have something better

And this is for a home campaign so that's why the stats are so powerful.

Also I have a question about Cornugon Smash I've heard somewhere (maybe I might be thinking of something else) that you have to worship the CE orc god to get it idk correct me if I'm wrong please.

So I built it out and is it really as simple as power attack and don't look back?

I'm gonna be playing in a military based campaign (plan for combat then fight so no need to be useful outside of combat). the way we are generating ability scores is all scores start at 15 and you can 1 for 1 up to 18 (take 1 point from one and add it to another). My go-to class is usually barbarian so I'm thinking that I want to play a fighter this time. The party is pretty well rounded and all i need to provide is front line damage so I'm going to have the day-runner alternate racial trait. any advice/sample builds are appreciated.

I think that I'm gonna go with a Scarred Witch Doctor and prestige into Dragon Disciple. I'M GONNA WRECK EVERY THING!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm now trying to get my GM to let me play a Bloodrager

I'm not 100% sure I understand this. Does this mean that you can raise one ability score by 1 point by reducing another by 1 point? If so, that's rather overpowered and gives you a wealth of options.

that is what it means and we tend to play high power games

Does rogue compliment barbarian at all?

So I want to play an orc for an upcoming campaign and can't decide on a class. We will be starting at level 2 and ability scores all start at 15 can 1 for 1 up to 18. I want to play a melee character of some sort but other than that I really don't know what I want.

Knife master/Scout combo for the extra sneak attack damage and high Charisma for wand use in your off hand when not engaged in melee

After Looking at this more I think that I should be a barbarian and just RP the Viking rather than use the archetype...what do you guys think?

Here is what I have so far
Str-18
dex-13
Con-16
Int-9
Wis-10
Cha-8
and i'm Human so low int doesn't hurt skills much and the extra feat is really nice
feats that i'm thinking about 1st lvl are Intimidating Prowess, Quick draw, and Improved Shield Bash

Sorry I meant waraxe

20 point buy all Piazo material allowed great axe and shield for style. i'm really just looking for feats. I'm starting at level 1 and GM doesn't care how much starting gear costs as long as it's reasonable (non-magical)

Just looking for a few tips on building my Viking fighter
