Human with Eye for Talent 1 Power Attack
Ape Charger archetype 1 Power Attack
Human with Eye for Talent 1 Power Attack
Ape Charger archetype 1 Power Attack
I changed the companion to an ape so my big dumb barbarian would be the "missing link" in the evolution, and I thought that having the climb speed might be helpful out of combat.
I haven't talked to my DM about this build yet so I'm going to see assume that dinos aren't allowed and go with one of the more traditional companions but I'm still open to changing it from a tiger if there are better options out there' I haven't seen any other one that get pounce though. However your companion build looks great and I think that it fits with the idea that I had in mind for this character. On Superstition I really am on the fence about it and I think that I need to re-read and re-evaluate.
I don't really like Superstitious because I don't want to save vs buffs from allies and I don't think that CAGM fits thematically with the character vision that I had in mind to be highly mobile and double pounce almost every round. but I like the build otherwise.
1 Power Attack
I know that this Archetype isn't the most optimized but I really like the idea of me and my companion pouncing together. Here's what I have so far. Human
I'm thinking a Tiger animal companion for the dual pounce but while typing this the idea popped into my head to have a wolf for the trip and added AoO. any advice is welcome.
So this isn't really for a game it's just for fun so we'll say 25 point buy. The concept I'm going for is wielding a Dwarven Waraxe and handaxe. It doesn't need to be optimized but functional is always good. Here's what I was thinking.
I made two characters b/c I didn't know what I wanted to play and now I don't know which one is better and I want to play them both...sooo I leave it to those of you who are more gifted mathematically than I am to tell me which is better:
Fighter as follows same stats as before:
Try # 2 Orc Invulnerable Rager STR 22
Feats
Rage Powers
Alright here's the build that I think is gonna be the one that I play:
STR 22
Feats
Rage Powers
Critique away
so I was looking at the archetypes a little more because this character still didn't have the feel I had in mind for the concept... I really liked the idea of the unbreakable but the build didn't work the way it should so now I'm thinking that I should sword and board with the Armor Master. I know that S&B is feat intensive and I'm not really sure where to start. EDIT: if you have any ideas on how to make a fighter into "you can TRY to kill/hurt me but it won't work" Juggernaut I'm open to your thoughts.
you make a valid point Aelryinth so rebuild time: Crit fighter as follows same stats as before: 1 power attack, weapon focus Falchion
the build i have so far is:
I'm taking the Unbreakable Archetype Feats
And this is for a home campaign so that's why the stats are so powerful.
the build i have so far is:
I'm taking the Unbreakable Archetype Feats
Also I have a question about Cornugon Smash I've heard somewhere (maybe I might be thinking of something else) that you have to worship the CE orc god to get it idk correct me if I'm wrong please.
I'm gonna be playing in a military based campaign (plan for combat then fight so no need to be useful outside of combat). the way we are generating ability scores is all scores start at 15 and you can 1 for 1 up to 18 (take 1 point from one and add it to another). My go-to class is usually barbarian so I'm thinking that I want to play a fighter this time. The party is pretty well rounded and all i need to provide is front line damage so I'm going to have the day-runner alternate racial trait. any advice/sample builds are appreciated.
