"I'm going to head to bed now," Bairn says. "Good night, ladies."
He walks off toward his room.

Bairn returns the smile. "I'll probably consider doing it again. Let's go see what the others are up to." He opens the door to the tavern and holds it for Lilla.
"Fair enough," Bairn says as they return to the Rusty Dragon. "Did the walk help?"
Bairn chuckles. "Have you had to do that before?"
"Racism," Bairn answers bluntly.
Bairn shakes his head. "Romances between humans and elves don't last long around these parts."
After a bit more walking, Bairn turns towards the tavern. "Ready to head back?"
Bairn smiles. "I can only assume so."
The bard nods. "I can imagine. It's nice knowing where your bed is."
"It's quieter than Magnimar," Bairn says. "I'm grateful for that, at least."
Bairn laughs. "You don't need to experience everything life has to offer."
"It's probably better that you don't develop a taste for the stuff," Bairn says as they walk down Market Street past an old manor and the theatre.
"Where would you like to go?" Bairn asks Lilla.
"If goblins can get into town unnoticed, I don't think I'm worrying too much," Bairn says.
Bairn stands up and offers his hand to Lilla. He looks to Ana and Xeni. "If we're not back in an hour, you might want to search for us."
"Ready to go?" Bairn asks after Lilla finishes her water.
Bairn returns with a tankard of water. "Here you go." He sits down once more to give Lilla time to sober up.
Bairn chuckles. "And it seems like that was more than enough. Let me get you some water." He gets up and goes to the kitchen.
"Maybe you should lay off the ale, Lilla," Bairn says. "If you're that set on me going with you, I will."
Bairn merely sighs.
"Are you asking me to go along?"
"Plenty."
Bairn nods. "Just don't get into any trouble." He gives the rogue a warm smile.
"I think I'll call it a night after dinner," Bairn says.
"I'll take an ale too," Bairn says, stifling a yawn.
"That was nice of her," Bairn says. "Is Ameiko okay?"
Bairn nods.
Bairn smirks and shakes his head. "Nice save."
"Ahem."
"Oh, that's better," Bairn says after drinking the potion. "I think he just admired us for saving him from those goblins. I think he was just starstruck and didn't think about the consequences of a hunt like that."
Bairn joins the group at the table after his bath and sits down with a groan.
Bairn sighs. "I'm going to get a bath in the meantime."
"We survived," Bairn mutters. "Nothing to be sorry about. It's not like this was your idea."
Bairn follows after Aldern toward the tavern.
"I don't think hunting is something I enjoy," Bairn says, holding back from yelling at the cowardly noble. After all, Aldern did give them free horses.
Seeing the half-orc deal a ferocious blow to the boar, Bairn steps towards her and heals her, sure that if the beast would go after her again.
"You can't die on us," Bairn says, half of a smile on his face.
Bairn stops playing his song and reaches out to heal Lilla.
Bairn continues to play his song, grateful that Xeni at least had walloped the boar.
"Th...thank you," Bairn says as Xeni heals him. The bard steps behind Lilla and plays a rousing tune, inspiring courage in the three women.
Bairn moves forward to intercept the animal, hoping to keep it from charging.
Bairn gets down from his horse. "Need any help, Xeni?"
"It's alright," Bairn says with a supportive smile. "Aren't adventures supposed to be full new experiences?"
Bairn looks over his shoulder at Lilla. "Are you okay back there?"
Bairn selects a white stallion after looking at the others.
