Jeez guys, I'm not THAT wounded! I was only about halfway down in HP! Ayanna snarls as the Goblin's angry little dagger rips into her flesh. She knows the art of slicing and dicing fairly well and realizes she wouldn't survive another attack like that. Luckily the other goblins seem to have been routed and/or dispatched. She growls and presses a hand over her wound. "Luckily for me, I have several more lives to live out happily! No one little grimy goblin is going to down me! I do however, appreciate your healing service, strange tree woman." She sniffs at the clear healing sap that Orcetta had applied to her wound. "Smells weird. I've used healing salves before, but I've never encountered this particular stuff. What is it?

With a hiss, the slight catfolk woman crouches, claws instantly at the ready. She quickly scans the commotion and locks eyes with the hideous creature that shot at her. She narrows her eyes, causing her slitted pupils better focus on her prey. Ayanna growls, exposing her sharp canines as her lips pull back in an angry snarl. She judges her distance carefully and, with a fluid motion, springs forward towards the small tent near the goblins. She knows that her skills will not serve her in head-on conflict, but perhaps she can find an opportune time to strike once the creatures are distracted. Ayanna takes her whole turn to double move behind the tent, waiting for a better time to strike them from behind once the others close in. She will be using her claws to attack once she can establish a good flank with an ally.

Ayanna rolls her eyes at the man. "Cyrdak, you know that I despise makeup. It makes my eyes itch!" She rubs her eyes with a wince- just the thought of having to paint anything on her face makes her eyes water! "The last time you had the grand idea to use 'makeup,' the black hair dye didn't wash out of my fur for a week! I looked like I had rolled around in a dirty chimneyplace!" The catfolk acrobat absentmindedly scratches at an itch on her arm as she fixes the man with a stern gaze. "If you insist that I look like some sort of royal songbird, please make sure that the colors you choose are NOT permanent and are SAFE for use on fur!" Having spoken her mind on with regards to her dislike of face paint, Ayanna reaches her arms over her head and arches her back gracefully. It feels so good to stretch! "Now good sir, I would like to spend a bit of time with the seamstress before the opening night. I need to make sure that she doesn't forget to leave a hole for my tail! I'd hate to have to make any last-minute adjustments right before the curtain opens." She grimaces, remembering the lovely outfit with zero room for her long silky tail. She felt like a butcher when she had to take a pair of dull scissors to the back side of it to cut a hole for her tail, but there was nothing else to be done on such short notice. "I, however, can promise you that- if my eyes aren't watering and I'm not afraid of my outfit tearing at the seams while I tumble- I'll be able to devote more energy to dancing and acrobatics! Believe me, you will notice a big improvement when I'm not trying to rub eyes every time my back is turned to the audience!" |
