Once again I have a problem with an order for my subscriptions with your products.
Actually, it's not one of your product causing the trouble but a third party prouct named: Imperial Gazetteer (4E) Kobold Press

I don't know why it keeps propping in my subsctiptions, but each time it does, the said subscriptions don't leave on time. I'm getting sick and tired to ask you to rectify that problem. Could you remove that product once and for all, and get back on schedule already ? Or really send it my way once you have it in stock and remove it from the "waiting pile" ?

That order seems stuck on pending state for the better part of last month. When do you think you will send it my way and when will I be able to download the pdf I am entitled to ?

I wonder why some people really want to have the last word on questions such as "Was 4E a commercial failure/succes" or "Why did 4E failed in the first place" (even if, imho, it didn't fail, coz I had a lot of fun with it)

Isn't it more important to have fun with the tools and toys you enjoy and have ? It's a hobby after all, why must we always be competitve one against one another... It's not important to know why such and such, the important now is, again imho, how can we, as a group of hobbists, with our seperate tastes and sensibilities, make the best of all the tools available to us.

At least, it looks like that WOTC this time is trying to listen to us as a group, let's not biker endlessly on facts or rumors we can't verify, let's play games, be it 4e's, pathfinder's, or when the time comes, 5e or whatever it will end up being called.

There is no wrong, no right, no insults, just differents tastes and opinions.

Well, let's see. I am a customer of both Paizo (I have a subscription for AP after all and own several of PF core books) and WOTC. Do I play both games ? In a word, no.

I do play 4E. Why ? Because for me and my players, the rules were closer to what we wanted in a role playing game, be it called D&D or something else. What I will tell, though, is that, even if the rules are better IMHO, the fluff and the scenarioes, were at best lacking any real consistencies in my taste. Hence why I bought AP, and the world of PF, and the rules, to get inspiration for my 4E games.

Was I ever slighted in any way by the marketing campaigns you talk so much about, even though I play d&d since the coloured boxes ? Not one bit, I don't even remember that video you talk about, to be honest.

Am I excited about a new edition ? Too early to really tell. I like 4E, heck I even like PF from what I read, it's my players who don't really enjoy to get back to anything so closely related to 3.5E. I will say this though, I have yet to encouter any edition of d&d that didn't have merits on its own. I have yet to be disapointed by any rulesets, be it advanced, 3rd ed, 4th, or even Pathfinder, that I consider still as d&d. And I consider 4E as d&d, as well, but a different facette of it.

I will consider 5E. I will read anything I can find about it and buy the first books, and test it. Beyond that, I can't know for sure. I just hope that WOTC will understand that good rules are fine, but good fluff and good scenarioes are as much important than the rules...
