Smiling at the innuendos and thinking little more of it, I cast detect magic, holding it concentrated on Ashley Rose for the 3 or 4 rounds necessary for me to find out. If an answer is forthcoming, then a smile is noticable, otherwise I hold my own council.

Glad to see there will be a sense of humor to this game. Even better when it takes a dark twisted turn.

@ Rose - If you like any of those I can give a more complete description or if you were looking for something different (ie weapons, armor, potions, etc) let me know.

That goes for everybody. There is a feat Sa'Ryn Rycin might like - Vermin Friend - allows a diplomacy? check against attacking vermin to amke them stand down. I dont have the book with me to give a more detailed explanation.

I have both books. Book of Vile Darkness has two items you might be interesed in

-Fleshshifter Armor - +1 Leather Armor - allows the wearer to alter self at will - 13,160 gp

-Nipple Clamp of Exquisite Pain (wink, wink) - wearer is immune to debilitating pain effects such as circle of pain and wrack - 8,000 gp

and from the Libris Mortis

- Night Caller - This whistle is transparent, weighty and resemble a small dragon curled up like a snail. When blown over a grave containing a body in darkness or at night, the corpse below claws its way to the surface. The Zombie serves the whistle blower faithfully until destroyed as per the animate dead spell. Can be used once a week however the whistler can have no more than two zombie followers at a time.

it was the Libris Mortis. I remember it well. I played a Pale Master out of that book. Great resource for Evil characters. There was also the Book of Vile Darkness

@Radavel - Are those books open to us?

And are the complete books also available for use? I am having a hard time finding some good magical items for me, the poor bard bard. ~rolls a bluff check~

With the lack of healer in mind - let me drop the Rakshasa idea and pick up a 'Mad Scientist' Alchemist instead. Taking the Chirugeon and Vivisectionist Archetypes from Ultimate Magic.

I do plan on taking some healing spells, but I am the buffer (and seducer), not the main healer.

OTOH, my UMD skill will be maxed out. ~looks around for wands of healing and harming.
