Ok, so the concept is that this NPC was an adviser to the king of the nation the PC's start in. I'm starting him off as a lvl 10 fighter and am considering a 2--or more--lvl dip into student of war for additional skills. I believe that he needs a decent amount of skills due to his political position and so I'm thinking about going with the tactician archetype to receive 4+int.
In the first session the party chases the NPC over rooftops and both he and them must overcome acrobatic checks (so acrobatics/lighter armour is necessary for him as well).
The highest character I've ever played has been a lvl 5 barbarian before so please be detailed and/or cite reference links to follow up on what you suggest. I'm going to start running one-shot testers in order to fine tune a campaign world I'm working on developing.

Ok, so I'm currently unsure of which path I'd like to take--mainly do to my lack of experience. I currently have a lvl 4 with 2 oracle and 2 paladin lvl's and am about to take on my 5th lvl. I'm highly considering delving into the holy vindicator when the time comes. I don't want to be useless in melee but am still wanting significant healing if possible.

Concept: Takes the damage dealt to others upon himself and heals himself as swift action lay on hands. Obviously this build is focused on dex: considering an AoO focus with potential crit build? Idk how feat sensitive a crit build would be though. Would like to take on Holy Vindicator unless advised otherwise?
Note: Going to ask the DM if he wouldn't mind helping me create a home brew feat that would allow me to take on higher damage from the life links so that it's still useful during later lvl's. If you'd like to offer any suggestions that would be awesome as well.
So, what are your thoughts, Concerns, or recommendations? I have until Sunday to decide on my next lvl but would like to have an outline ready for future reference.

So I was reading up on this guide https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B5kvBvq2DEHjRWFhSWc1ZzAzaDg/edit and so far it's been entirely focused on clerics. I intend to have a bbeg that is essentially the paradox of a character I'm currently playing (which will be an important NPC in my future campaign).
That being said, the character I'm currently playing is an oracle/paladin with a strong paladin focus and so I intended for the main antagonist to be an anti-paladin. Would that strongly reduce the potency of the characters animating ability?
The campaign idea is that each nation is run directly or indirectly by a "Dragon-god" and while one of the good oriented dragons was in slumber following an era of peace, a rival of it's takes control of the sleeping dragon's kingdom through a deceptive ruse and has it begin a war with it's own kingdom--creating an undead army is often expedited in time's that bring about more, you know, dead creatures. ;)
The antagonist is basically the champion of this "dragon-god" and so may be gifted a powerful item that allows him to animate/control masses of undead. Any advice in bringing this concept into reality would be greatly appreciated!

Ok so I was toying with the idea of playing an oradin a while back simply because it worked extremely well with the type of character I wanted to play (as well as being forced into filling the healing gap of a group who lost their cleric player).
Long story short, I wasn't a fan of the idea of using a Paladin because of the severe limits it impresses upon myself and the party. However, we've managed to play out a quest that was forced upon us by a crime lord (through blackmail); It was no easy task for me, might I add.
However, I'm loving the concept of this character and have decided to continue it, but change the build idea.
~~Original Idea~~ Dex Build
2 lvl's of paladin
Rest in Oracle
Upon playing the character out and getting a feel of who he is, I've decided that I'd much rather play a melee with healing capabilities. So now the game-plan has shifted tooooooo:
4 Lvl's of Oracle (allows me to gain proficiency with my elven curved blade (agile)
Rest of the lvl's in Paladin so that I don't fall too far behind the fray.
Here's the current character sheet!

If you have any questions I'll try to answer them to the best of my ability!
Background Story (Warning-LONG): As follows most--if not all--of Kitsune lore, they're a free-spirited people with very strong ties of loyalty towards their comrades despite their innate trickster-like habits. Also, it's very common for one to be honor-bound to dedicating his/herself as a protector/guardian of an individual as re-payment for a previous deed.
Orradin (I know, original right?) grew up among the once prestigious Inari clan. Unfortunately, disgrace had befallen his clan due to a grave mistake made by his ancestor, (unnamed). (Unnamed) allowed a human who he was sworn to by their deity--the Lady of Fox's--to die, thus tarnishing the family name and sending his descendants nearly to exile. They were shunned for nearly 200 years before Orradin came to be.
He grew up, often taunted and teased by his prank-ridden kin and shunned because of the grave mistake of his ancestry. He did his best to dish back with trickery and pranks of his own--as was customary--but that did little to his ego (let alone his name). Being shunned in the only world that he knew, Orradin was pushed further and further from the rest of his kin. He soon began to distance himself by spending large amounts of time secluded in the forest contemplating every aspect of existence: Why do I have to go through this; How could my ancestor turn his back on his ward, his people, his family; Is there somewhere else that I would better belong; Is there a better way I can live my life; What is my purpose; etc.
These questions--and many more--tormented him relentlessly until one day he decided that he would give up this forsaken life and find his purpose: his home. It was this day that he took all of his belongings and departed from everything he had known in order to embark on a journey to find who and why he was. Orradin set out with only his ocarina (his instrument/form of art that he uses both as an expression as well as his form of prayer); his family's prized possession (a large, curved elven blade ornate and engraved with animals renown for speed and agility); and pure determination to do something better with his life. He left the place that he could never call home.
Racing through the thicket of the forest, everything seemed a blur--his life, his family, the place he left, the undergrowth about him--and then it was. His vision faded instantaneously and he stumbled upon some shrubbery into an open clearing unbeknownst to him. Bewildered and horrified, the Kitsune's eyes darted to and fro in attempt to re-gain focus, but it was futile. It was then that he noticed a faint white blur just outside of 30ft from himself. A soft, intoxicating voice beckoned him forth, "Come, Orradin, my child."
Like a fallen leaf caught in a breeze, his fear washed away entirely. He couldn't understand why, nor what this urge was that could compel him to shuffle forward on it's will alone. A beautiful spring lay before him, a gentle clearing where the canopy opened to allow golden shafts of light to shine and reflect off the surface of the water. In the center of the spring the white figure began to take form as he drew nearer.
First an outline, and then.... wait, he was walking through the shallow spring, water dampening his fur--something that would have normally revolted him save for when bathing. Oddly, he hadn't noticed until he was waist deep and even more odd was the fact that it still held little to no merit to his actions. It seemed far too unnatural and surreal but that knowledge did naught to stop him from continuing forth. Orradin soon strode up the incline leading to an island-like bank in the center of the spring, astonished by the detail of the white figure that laid seducingly across a large, smoothly shaped stone that seemed a to perfectly harmonize with every curve of the white figures form. In the center of the stone lay a 9-sided shape bearing the brand of the Lady of Foxes.
Before him lay an alluring young woman with hair that resembled the night sky, eyes that reflected the purest of sapphire, white fur as clean and elegant as the untainted snowfall before it touches the corrupt grounds beneath it. Behind her nine luxurious white tails swayed in a way that could entrance even the most willful of mortals. Orradin was kneeling before the Mother of his race, the Lady herself.
A supple smile spread across the fair features of her face, her brows arched in a sharp, yet gentle way. She half sat, propped upon her left arm as her right reached forth and brush delicately across Orradin's chin as he met her gaze. With a voice so graceful he felt as though he would melt, she spoke, "My dear child, Orradin. I have longed for the day that you would come looking for me. It is this day that you shall begin a conquest and learn to understand your fate."
Her hand trailed from his chin, up his cheekbone, and wiped a trail of blood from his brow which had gone unnoticed to him. He winced for a moment as a pain seared where she had touched, but did not want to insult his deity with such bad mannerism. "I have given you a gift today, a strength that will help you to redeem yourself and right the wrongs of your ancestors. However, this power comes at a price. Your vision is no longer as acute as what you once knew. Now, close your eyes, feel the peace within yourself and will your pain away."
Orradin did as he was told and the pain upon his brow began to fade at the beckon of his will. Astonished he slid his finger over the spot to find a thin scar, but the skin had come together as if by some sort of miracle. Orradin was so purplexed by the whole encounter that he was choked to find words and regretted his inability to respond.
"This is my gift to you, my child. Go and redeem yourself. Only then will you find what you are looking for, and only then will you be able to see clearly once again."

First off, I'm new to rping games but I know that rollplaying a Paladin improperly can lead to two different scenarios. 1: You bore the hell out of the campaign 2. You get butt#%&$ed by your deity.
So with that being said I'm both asking for advice as well as asking any questions that come to mind.
My first question is: does a Paladin "have" to be religious, or can he/she simply follow their own moral code so long as it's in alignment?
I'm attempting to play a Kitsune Oracle with a Paladin dip who worships a god named Daikitsu (essentially a neutral god). My mentality behind it is that while he worships this god of his people, he also embodies a strict morality of his own creation. One technique I'm using in order to not hinder the party is that I don't try to force my beliefs on to others. That doesn't mean that I don't show signs of displeasure when seeing things that conflict with my views.
^ Back to my question about the Paladin having to be religious or not, if so is it compatible to worship a neutral goddess while being lawful good yourself?
Any other pieces of advice so far as roleplaying and or advice on Paladin's/oracles, or even tips on religious based roleplaying would be greatly appreciated
Alright so as a little background I'll post the build that I have so far. It's a Kitsune Oradin.

Basically the build is Oracle with a pally dip for armor proficiency and LoH. Lifelink allows me to heal 5 damage from each character attatched to my life link while taking the damage upon myself (Fey Foundling allows me to heal for +2hp per dice rolled). This allows me to heal them by healing myself rather than chasing them down.

Ok so new details have emerged! I had another post for this but everybody looked at the first post and replied without reading my posts after which had this updated information and I couldn't edit the post so, without further ado, have at it!

Now this is the difficult part where I'll need further assistance. Please keep in mind that I am going to be the primary healer so please explain your thought process when recommending feats. Also, the character is intended to help survivability more than deal massive damage. I like the quickdraw shield idea as it allows me to use or rid myself of it in order to heal myself or others. What I'm wondering is if the falcata is the best weapon of choice? (considering a weapon with reach to possibly keep opponants at bay? Also, if I continue leveling as a Paladin will I be able to keep up with the healing needs of an all melee group? lol. We have 1 ninja and idk the other two meleers.
2 lvl's of paladin and 2 lvls of oracle to start
1 Paladin
2 Paladin
3 Oracle
3 Oracle
Note: At the DM's discretion I start with a free +1 weapon with "Menacing"
I've never played a campaign past 5th lvl so any advice on how to spend my 6 g's would be awesome as well.
If you have need of any other info that would be useful let me know and I'll try to find it out. NO ARCHeTYPeS btw.
Ok, so I've only played a barbarian so far and after many weeks of unsuccessfully searching for a game, I've finally found one. The catch, they're already 4th lvl and need a healer. I have no details on the other characters atm other than their need for a healer, which sounds extremely dull to play for me so... Any creative ideas?
I don't like the idea of being weak in combat, and my playing style is that of a smartass or trickster. I love Kitsune and am in the process of creating my second character ever out of it based off of a ninja-like concept but unfortunately that won't do for this campaign :(
I was wondering if perhaps a Druid or perhaps a Paladin would work but am unsure about their healing capabilities (or any of their capabilities tbh) due to my lack of experience. What other rolls can a healer pursue?
I should be able to get more details by later tonight.

Ok, so I have a character in mind but am unsure exactly what I'm looking for as far as building it. Basically the story begins as a young Kitsune adopted by a noble family in his clan upon the disappearance of both his mother and father. He sneaks away from his homeland in the dead of night (further disgracing his family name) in attempt to find out what happened to his parents. Until meeting up with the party to which he owes his life--after they save him--he travels specializing in disguising himself and other such "under the radar" means of surviving as well as gathering information.
That being said, I'm torn between leaving this character simply as a spy, rogue cutthroat, or full blown assassin/ninja. I love the concept of a ninja ;)
As far as his personality, he's a natural prankster (as his Kitsune blood would insure) and very charismatic. Ironically he loves to be the center of attention in his false forms, subconsciously feeling as though it overshadows the secrets he holds on to so dearly. I want him to specialize in disguising himself and impersonation with the boon of his people's natural abilities.
Combat, I'd like something flashy rather than a blatant two-hander; perhaps some exotic eastern weapons.
If you are not familiar with the Kitsune please glance over it before making suggestions.
Hint hint, really like the ninja concept ;)
Also, this character will be used in homebrew so either a 25 point buy or possibly roll for stats with a 25 buy being the default should anyone roll beneath it.
I'm looking for something more long term rather than simply doing the one shots. I'm not entirely sure where to look to find a full campaign??
Ok, so I'm planning on building my own world/campaign but seeing as I'm new to all of this I'd like to purchase a good Adventure that I can use as an outline for creating my own. Things I'd like to focus on are the basics necessary to bring cities/politics to life and if anybody has advice on creating mysteries, puzzles, and other such things that bring about more social interaction/role playing would be greatly appreciated!
Basically I'm looking for the top three recommended so please add a brief description of how it can help me and post a link so that I may further review the details before deciding my purchase!

Ok, so I'm extremely new to D&D and any other form of roleplaying, yet I am extremely compelled to run my own campaign world. I'm now in the beginning stages of creating the world and am creating the history of "Creation."
I just wanted to throw out what I currently have written up to get positive feetback, as well as constructive criticism. I intend to have a lot of history placed upon my world and back stories of races, cities, and nations so that I can bring it alive and immerse my future players in the atmosphere. Anyways, let me know what you think about my unfinished history of creation! :)
At a time before time even existed, there was a single entity born to nothingness. A semblance to what would eventually become known as "Mankind." This entity was composed of two halves, two personas. The right half, of pure, radiant light, devout and righteous; The left, a shadow-forged and maniacal darkness longing for chaos and destruction.
It wasn't long before the two halves of "God" were at each others throats, trying to influence their whole to each of their wills. Thus, the conflict between good and evil began, and as light cannot exist without darkness, so too were good and evil cursed to an existence of rivalry and bloodshed.
With neither persona able to gain influence over the other, they conceded to play out their eternal struggle through game; the material plane--the board; the Humans--the pawns.
The earth was molded of "God's" power, split evenly between both personas. It was composed of the divine, life-giving powers of the white persona--which came to be named Divinity--and the arcane power of the elements granted by the black persona--later called Arcanity.
The two powers were interwoven, infusing the world with both divine and arcane energies alike. The personas, Divinity and Arcania, worked together--for the last time--in the creation of humanity. Born of both light and darkness, human kind would become quite diverse in every which way. Individual alignments would vary throughout the entire spectrum from good to evil, and all of the gray area in between.
300 Year War:
only brief periods of peace were enjoyed as war ravaged the lands. Battle after battle was fought, leaving bitter hatred, suffering, the diminishing human population, and scorched lands as the remnants of "God's" conflicting wrath.
During the first period of peace--known as the "Divine era"--Divinity and Arcania took absence of their game, leaving the pawns to govern themselves. While there was no lack of conflict between pawns, both sides focused primarily on re-building. Meanwhile, the gap between good and evil began to wane as the bulk of humans took towards the gray areas between. They did so through necessity, greed, envy, lust, and/or other such manifestations that began to grow with the rapidly adapting race.
Note: Tired as hell, will add more of it later but it's time for me to pass out -.-
Looking to find anybody interested in forming a roll20 group. I'm currently building my own campaign but it won't be complete enough to run for about a month so in the mean time I would like to gain more experience as a player. Pm me as well as replying on here if interested!
I'm familiar with Roll20 but there don't seem to be as many Pathfinder games to choose from so I'm trying to find out if there are other places to look or if anybody knows of a low lvl or soon-to-come campaign that would run late nights?
Ok, so this was my first and only character I've ever made. It was intended as a intimdate build but then lost interest in that idea by 3rd lvl but I'm already locked into it so :/ Atm this sheet is allowing for one feat to be added so I'm looking for a recommendation and also for advice for future feats/rage powers.
http://www.myth-weavers.com/sheetview.php?sheetid=579055
Ok I'm going for intimidate build. I just reached 5th lvl and have 20 minutes from now to have a feat chose. Don't have time to write down all my character details but I already have intimidating prowess. I'm debating between cleave or is there an intimidation feat I can get at 5th lvl??
http://www.myth-weavers.com/sheetview.php?sheetid=579055
Ok, as I'm trying to set up my first campaign, the monster list is somewhat daunting. Something I began doing is bookmarking every creature between 1-4 cr so that I may further study them and decide what interests me. However, this is excruciatingly time consuming and now I'm wondering if such a list already exists to aid DM's?

Ok, I'm putting together my own hand made campaign including my own world and everything. My experience with Pathfinder is limited to the creation of a 5th lvl barb and a hand full of untested random 1st lvl classes who I've looked over optimization guides for, so I am hoping to find a veteran here with a good background who might be able to spend a bit of time every now and then on skype guiding me into becoming a great DM.
Because this is my first time doing such a thing I'll be doing a test run through my campaign once I feel I've got a full enough outline completed, and I intend to have this as a slow-leveling campaign in order to allow me a bit more time to gain experience and grow.
If anyone--or multiple people--would be willing to spend a little time here and there on skype to offer advice, criticism, or help guide me in any way it would be greatly appreciated. Basically I would inform you of a loose plot-line with any advances I make in it and go from there.
I'm currently reading over much of paizo's PRD information as well as studying DM advice, tips, and mentality from several DM related guides on youtube as well as reading through the second edition of "campaign sourcebook and catacomb.....something something lol." I'm also looking over the PRD Game Mastery Guide as well.
Soooooo, if anybody would be willing to basically shave off any rough edges of or even co-create my campaign with me it would be greatly appreciated. Simply post here and pm me your skype info if you don't want it to be in the open :)
Title says it all.. Looking for optimized build ideas with maybe a brief summary describing their strong points/what roll they fill in the party. This is the only class I haven't at least done a little research on so just trying to broaden a bit :)
I've got a party consisting of a ninja, ranger, monk, fighter, and I'm going to try and multiclass cleric/bard for support or I'm going to try a paladin with the feat saving shields. Idk anything about a Paladin though and doubt that it'll be enough healing for our party of five? The monk has UMD so he can get a want of cure light wounds to help but what would you guys recommend? Class, traits, feats, etc.
Ok I'm completely new to this and haven't created a mage before. Right now I'm taking some advice in building a fighter/wizard/ek
So I was told to take the scryer wizard archetype in order to qualify for ek at lvl 3. Now I'm trying to find out what spells will be available to me. I believe I have to take the divination school or something so if anybody can lend me some advice for this it would be greatly appreciated!

Ok, so I'm about to begin the creation of my first ever ranger. So the idea is I'm creating my own personal campaign world and am creating a "test group" so that I can fine tune any details before actually attempting to DM it for others.
One of the characters I've already rolled up is a Kitsune ninja who grew up abandoned by her parents who left when she was a child. Bc of this she was somewhat of an outcast and upon coming of age decided to venture out in search of them.
This character here is also going to be Kitsune and my concept is that he's a Kitsune noble who grew up with her and acted somewhat as a guardian to her. He follows her secretly until discovered blah blah blah. Anyways, my idea is for him to be a stealthy ranger who eventually becomes an arcane archer (I haven't looked up pre-req's for the class yet but am about to as soon as I post this thread) and so I am looking for any and all advice. One thing I considered was to begin with the archetype "battle scout" as--since he's kind of a guardianish figure--it would grant bonuses to his companions in initiative, perception, stealth, and survival.
Seeing as I'm inexperienced with this I'm open to other ideas/suggestions, and looking for somewhat of a guide. For example, what feats are best at lower levels. Other than point blank shot I haven't studied any ranger-related feats yet but intend to do some research on that tonight as well.
Also. I've pre-rolled all five character ability scores and this is going to be my favorite character of the five so I gave him the best set so he's a little opy. Here are my rolls.

So basically stealthy, guardian-figure, future arcane archer..... GO!

Ok, so the main purpose of me getting into Pathfinder was to inspire me to begin writing after having not done so in over 5 years. I used to write novels in high school and had many english teachers insist that I consider writing as a plausible career. I loved writing medieval fantasy and was very much inspired by things such as the fights in Naruto, Runescape (This is actually where I began writing, doing short stories out of randomness when I was utterly bored during summer vacation), and a few random manga here and there.
My understanding so far is that Pathfinder is a massive story in itself that can take limitless direction and so I am going to be building my own campaign little by little as time presents itself. I've watched many youtube videos that are tailored to new and potential DM's and am continuing to study similar materials. My question on here is this; What would you recommend I buy (campaign wise) in order to digest and better understand the intricacies necessary to build a truly in depth and versatile campaign? I'm not intending on purchasing all of the Pathfinder books as I can simply look up the material on here, rather I'm simply trying to study a pre-existing campaign so that my own won't lack any of the necessities that allow this game to be so diverse and spontaneous.

Ok so I've been looking further into this. I'm new to Pathfinder and don't have a d&d background so all advice is welcome.

Feat 1: Weapon Finess
Trait 1: Dirty Fighter (+1 dmg when flanking)
Trait 2: Rich parents (to speed up process of acquiring a magical item?)
Kitsune Racial Traits:
Agile: +2 to acrobatic checks
Change Shape:
Fast Shifter: Change shape as move action rather than a standard action
Has a bite attack in natural form
Desired feats (note that feats and tricks are not in any specific order, just showing what appeals to me):
-Two weapon fighting
-Magical Tail (invisibility
-Realistic Likeness (allows me to take the form of someone I've previously encountered with a +10 on my check)
-Idk from here.
Ninja Tricks: Fast Stealth; Shadow Clone; Assassinate; evasion; Invisible blade; Ghost Step
Rogue Talents: False Friend
Favored class: rogue--1/6th new rogue talent
I've been recommended to try and get an amulet of mighty fist to increase my damage.
Concept: Very stealthy and with an illusive tongue. TWF if possible to increase sneak attacks. Using wakizashi b/c of the crit range of 18-20. Would consider dipping into monk if given the guidance as my only character I've made is a lvl 4 barbarian.
***Huge on disguising and intends to disguise as ppl he's encountered when performing shifty work. Probably forgetting some things here but hey it's 4am so :PP
Ok, so let's say I have the feat that doubles crit range on a wakizashi, making it 15-20. If I roll a 15 but it's not enough to hit the creature it will miss since it's not a natural 20 right? Or do I still get a confirmation roll bc I rolled a crit which might then give me a chance to have a roll high enough to hit? I'm pretty sure it just goes as a miss but wanted to double check.
Ok, so I'm very new to roleplaying games and my only previous experience is my first campaign with a lvl 4 barbarian so I'm looking for any and all tips/advice on my build.
Concept: Kitsune ninja with a high dex build. Stats are rolled at....

Dex: 18 (+2 racial) 20
Con: 12

I'm looking at a ninja build guide currently but my concern is that I'm building a melee dex build and with Kitsune having claw claw bite natural attacks I'm not aware of a way to translate that into greater damage. I'm not sure if there's a feat/trait/ninja or rogue talent that can help me out there? Is it possible to create a melee build w/out str or no?
I already have weapon finesse feat at first lvl so that my attack bonus is off my dex but how can I improve damage? The other drawback is the fact that natural weapons only have a crit range of 20 :/
I'm not entirely sure if this goes here so I apologize if I'm mistaken. Anyways, if you've seen any of my previous posts you know I'm quite D&D/Pathfinder illiterate and have only played 3 times. I have been doing a lot of studying over the past three weeks and have practiced creating characters. I've heard that you can play online so can someone explain to me how to do so/where to go? I'm assuming this site has a way? And if so does it cost anything?

Ok, so I'm very new to d&d and pathfinder, and have only played d&d three times with 2.0 (or 1.0 not sure) house rules. I've been doing a s@$# ton of studying this in spare time over the past two weeks, have practiced creating characters, and put off re-making my original character from the 2.0 (or 1.0) home brew that I've played. While experimenting I started searching archetypes for my first ranger character and think I may have stumbled on to something kinda OP, but would like more experienced opinions before I get ahead of myself.
First off, I'll list some of the half-dragon benefits:
+8 str, +6 con, +2 int, +2 wis
Claw(1d4)+ Claw(1d4)+ bite(1d6)
My thoughts: Sub class with human to gain the extra skill point/feat
Ranger:
(Take the Natural Weapon combat style feat at second level)
--
If the Ranger selects natural weapon style, he can choose from the following list whenever he gains a combat style feat:
Aspect of the Beast, Improved Natural Weapon, Rending Claws, and Weapon Focus.
At 6th level, he adds Eldritch Claws and Vital Strike to the list.
At 10th level, he adds Multiattack and Improved Vital Strike to the list.
So, aspect of beast seems nearly useless to me... However, improved natural weapons could be used to completely beef up my 2 claw attacks could it not? And I can continue taking it to stack up (no need for two handed weapon feats so I could spare those). Plus the 6th-10th lvl feats; eldritch claws; vital strike; multi attack; and improved vital strike would only add onto the awesomeness, right?
I'm not sure how effective this idea is so if anybody could look into this and perhaps an archetype that may fit well into this and could give me suggestions and or thoughts towards this idea or for something different it would be awesome :D

Note: This was meant as a question for advice despite not having a question mark in the title :PP
Ok, so I'm trying to build a ninja. First off, half dragon gains the following adjustments:
Str +8
Con +6
Int +2
Cha +2
Nat armor + 4
(this is a personal home-brew experiment and not reg society play so I rolled vs point buy)
Abilities before half-dragon modifier
Str: 15 (23 w/mod)
Dex: 18
Con: 11 (17)
Int: 14 (16)
Wis: 16
Cha: 17 (19)
Ok, so my thoughts are to use his natural claw(x2) bite combo as opposed to a normal melee weapon, and having a composite bow as a long-range.
As far as character's personality I'm thinking (despite being a ninja/assassin-like character) he's the face of the party (perhaps disguised) and b/c of his charisma and perceived openness, he make's himself seem like he'd be the last type of person to be behind any sort of mischief.
I want him to be great with sneakiness, disguises, bluffing, but very deadly in combat. I have no clue what sort of feats (or ninja tricks) to select so any advice would be very welcomed :)

Haha, so as a couple of you may have seen my previous threads, I'm very inexperienced in all factions of d&d/Pathfinder. Here are a few questions I have about ninja's/my build goals:
First off, is there a claw-like weapon in pathfinder? I'm aware that half-dragons get claw/claw/bite attacks and was wondering if it's viable to have a claw weapon specially designed (at an increased price, of course) to kind of reinforce/potentially increase claw attack damage? Note: this is for homebrew and not standard.
Also-From what I've seen, duel wielding comes at a price of accuracy (unless equipped with certain feats). Since a claw is his natural weapon, would this still come with those impeding modifiers? And I believe I've heard that natural attacks have a bonus to what you role to hit?
Also, any advice on feats/abilities/ninja tricks would be great. Seeing as a half-dragon gains a +8 str bonus I'd like to combine that with multiple attacks as much as possible. While my dex is my main focus as far as using my highest roll on it, with that str modifier my strength is still larger than my dexterity so feats to utilize dex in str's stead would be entirely useless options.
(should I multi-class with monk bc they get a ton of hits or no?) I'm not too familiar with how multi-classing works. Is the experience gained split evenly between the two or how's that work?

Ok, so I have played D&D on TWO separate occasions, and am much more interested in learning to DM--as I am debating on chasing a career in writing--since DMing is basically writing/telling a story with the added challenge of having to improvise/revolve around the actions/goals of PC's. I do not intend on jumping straight into the fire and attempting to DM with my limited knowledge as that would be sheer ignorance, though. I am currently writing my plot, settings, Continental map (I'm creating my own continent in order to target my studies towards races, classes, basic knowledge, as well as studying DM techniques and mentalities) etc.
I've already got a great story-line that will hopefully immerse my future players in the entire continent and all of it's intricacies and love where the story is going thus far. Knowing that things will seldom go exactly as planned, I'm also developing many potential forks in the story-line in order to adapt to PC's decisions (and goals once I have them create their characters).
I've spent about 20 hours so far in my studies (mostly watching video's of experienced DM's teaching their techniques: what not to do, what to be prepared for, ways to bring things together without trying to force the story upon the players, and so on. I'm also watching popular campaign's being streamed/uploaded online to get a feel for roll playing in it's natural/more experienced state.
My question, however, is this; Is there any guide that has--in some sort of organized order--a list of things to study/know so that I may make some sort of check list and make sure that I am covering every basis necessary? Or Would one of you with greater experience be able to post one here for me to follow? Any help, tips, etc. would be greatly appreciated but having a set study planner would definitely expedite my learning process and help prepare me to begin this grand adventure of DMing!
