Shipping with Usps can be slow. Even when I use Priority Mail, it still takes two days, despite being only five hours away from the warehouse. There are various reasons for this, but it’s the reality.

For me, the subscription has always been about supporting Paizo directly and receiving a PDF at no extra cost.

However, that may be changing. With the price increases on the books, it’s becoming less practical, especially when you can get the same book from Amazon at a significant discount and still buy the PDF separately for less than the subscription. Even more so you if add in shipping.

That's why I asked if there had been a drop in subscribers.

And by that metric, it's 100% okay to only play 1E Pathfinder, or only play 2E Pathfinder... or play both (like me).

I like both. I wish there were a way to move PF1e closer to PF2e and PF2e closer to PF1e if that makes any sense. I mean I know I can streamline the action economy (That's in Unchained correct?) Any other suggestions, James, if you're willing since you play/design both? I ask because my player group is a house divided!

I'm really enjoying what I've skimmed through so far. If I listen closely, I can almost hear Rita Repulsa, or rather, the Demon Lord of the campaign, exclaiming, "Ahhh! After 13,0000 years, I'm free! Time to conquer Daimalko!" Then, the player characters leap into their Zords Valkos, to battle demon-encrusted Kaiju. For this mecha and big robot fan, this has all the hallmarks of an epic campaign my friends back 20 years ago to even now would love to play or run!

Also, as I was flipping through I noticed the number 13 popping up a few times, including the title of one of the major sections. Then I realized that this is the 13th Starfinder AP. I see you, Starfinder team.

I'd love a Remastered Guns & Gears!

I feel you, bro! I have seen so many changes. I enjoy PF1e because that is what I spent ten years playing (Even more if you add in 3.0/3.5 years). Will I ever enjoy PF2e as much? Probably not. I'm at a very different point in my life. But that doesn't mean I'll not play or have fun running it. In the end, it's whatever my friends want to play.

Anyway, the PF1e/3.X era is gone now. I doubt it'll ever come back except as RetroClones, and likely not from Paizo.

Can I recreate Redwall/Gwelf with Howl of the Wild? Go! :p

I see Sandpoint is up on Spotify. I take it the storeside is being stubborn.

For PCs, Nualia was a rescuer who gave her life to help them. At least so they thought. It is because of this thought that PCs take part in the Ritual.

Did all of that happen in Year 1? I ask because this sounds like the start of Year 5. Now, the Pathfinder Society turns to its original creed, vowing to explore the world and discover the unknown with a strange member of its leadership at the helm!

Ok, how do y'all see the first three rounds of combat unfolding for a low level party consisting of a Commander, a Fighter, a Wizard, and a Cleric in a dungeon setting? I am thinking of either Abomination Vaults or Burnt Offerings/Seven Dooms. Assume standard subclasses and typical equipment. Feel free to substitute the Fighter with a Rogue if y'all think that might change the dynamic. I'm interested in both general tactics and specific abilities they might prioritize.

Would you want either class to be in a group, or would both work best? What kind of group mix would be best? How would these classes play with Gunslingers?

Wait. Is Mahja Firehair going to be the one to kill Gorum since the Crucible applies to any god? Is it not just against another Orc god, or even so, since the Orcs worship Gorum, he's fair game?

I'm calling it now if Szuriel is involved with Gorum's death in whatever form, she won't survive and will be gone at the end of the war. We'll get a new War Rider.

Tonight at 4:00 PM which is in 6 hours there is going to be a special Paizo stream about the upcoming War of Immortals event and its related products including a novel, rulebook, Lost Omens book and adventure path! They will also be announcing which one of the Inner Sea Core 20 gods is going to die!

For those of you out of the loop, this War of Immortals is a divine war in which multiple gods are going to die, new ones will ascend and the new Exemplar class is spawned from the blood of the dead gods!

This is going to be a huge shake-up in the setting that will have an impact on people's characters, tables and interactions with the lore. It's ok to be nervous or upset but remember to be kind and respectful to the writers and other players!

Additionally, remember that in the end only you have the final say of what is and isn't allowed at your tables, if your favourite deity died in the official lore that does not mean that they now also have to be dead in your campaign!

Ya know..I don't like the idea of Arazni killing Iomedae, as I've seen some people suggest... But it could be poetic and I think fitting in character if let's say Iomoedae becomes corrupted In someway( let's say by Lamashtus hand if we want to take her absence as something signifigant) and Arazni takes her out so she didnt have to go through what shes been through.

I don't think that's gonna be what happens. But I think that could be a interesting angle.

I was thinking about this today.

Whenever I think of Arazni killing Iomedae it makes me think of this song.

Arazni will ascend to fill the open slot from the god's death. She is involved somehow.

What if Sarenrae intercedes to stop Arazni from killing Iomedae and thus dies instead? The rest of the War of Immortals is Arazni's war of revenge on the gods for standing by and doing nothing to prevent suffering. Motivated by a sort of anger and revenge on Aroden for failing and dying, thus failing her. Iomedae represents Aroden. The player's job then is to bring Arazni to a halt and, hopefully, rehabilitate her.

This fulfills the hint about the Prismatic Ray and gives Sarenrae a poetic death, and develops Arazni.

Thus, my watch ends for this month!
