"THERE'S A SCARY BLUE MAN STARING AT US FROM OUTSIDE!" says the young girl who met the party at the door.

The girl coughs.

The door opens. A surprised little human girl, of about 10 years of age, is standing behind it.

"Uh, hello?" She says looking up at the party.

From the unseen depths of the house a woman with a shrill voice says: "What? Who's there?"

Presumably it is her rapid steps approaching the door.

"Oh, it's not an orphanage, though there are a lot of orphans here. It is a healing house for the children of the city.... And we love Auntie's cooking, and she tells funny stories at bedtime."
