Not too much out there right now, though that should change a bit by year's end.

If we ever did something like Fey Revisited, you can bet gremlins would be a big part of it.

I will wager that I will finally finish up mite info for my campaign and then Fey Revisited will come out.

Make sure to write about how doom would affect their society and why their lifestyle does not make more usage out of vermin.

Just checkin' Since this thread started has much more info about mites come out?

Okay, so I've got a player who is embarked on a naval adventure and he wants to buy cargo to resell elsewhere.

Without making the whole thing a giant mini-game, I was trying to find list of prices. For example, how much is a barrel of spice? Just a list of standard prices would help considerably. Failing that, I might go for a simple mini-game.

Any recommendations?

Hello folks! I'm running a campaign where I use a lot of modified material from the old Al-Qadim setting. Sometimes that means monsters! I'm working on adapting the Al-Qadim dragon, the VISHAP. It's a little challenging. Seems to me the smart thing was to see if someone had already done it.

Vishaps are like dragons, but don't have dragon fear, breath weapon and can't cast spells. They do have age categories.

Any thoughts on something like this?

Much obliged for the help everyone! Also can't wait to read the story!

Hey everyone!

I was waiting until the 3rd Bestiary came out, but I don't see Gibberlings in any of the Pathfinder products. Upon reflection, I seem to remember them being a part of Greyhawk which would place them out of OGL.

Has anyone come up with any stats for them in Pathfinder? If not, can you tell me where I might find an online source of the original, so I can try whipping up my own?

Also, I'm not doing this because I am fan of the Critters movies. Even though I am.

In the Ultimate Combat book, there is a monk varient called Tetori. They are grapplers and get the Crushing Embrace fear at 2nd level.

Problem. I cannot find a description of Crushing Embrace in any book. Does anyone know what book it is in, and what page it is on?

Right now I'm winging it, and assuming it means you do grapple damage equal to your unarmed damage.

Thanks bunches!

Too harsh? You kidding? First of all, there's no point in putting something up for review if you are afraid of negative feedback.

Secondly, a good burn now and then is good for the soul! In your case, I might have put said something like "and sold it for something better... peace knots for my scabbards!" or something similiar.

Touch of the Fae

Aura strong transmutation; CL 9th

Slot neck; Price 110,000; Weight

Description

This item appears to be a flower blossom with several fanciful ribbons tied to it. Used on intelligent creatures it has no magical effect, but on animals or plants it affects them as the spell awaken. There are some differences from the original spell. The awaken spell lasts as long as the animal or plant wears it. The wearer is not automatically friendly to the person who planted the item on them and will pursue its own animal agenda unless persuaded to do so otherwise. It will struggle to retain the Touch of the Fae as long as it can.

Construction

Requirements Craft Wondrous Item, awaken, 50,000 gp

Hello Pathfinder message boards! I'm pretty new to this, but I mean to a make a good impression. If I slip up somewhere (like this post should be elsewhere) feel free to let me know.

The magic item above was my submission to get into the Superstar contest. I'll admit, I didn't even know the contest existed until 24 hours before the deadline. When I read up on it, I knew right away I wanted a peice of that pie. I wouldn't forgive myself if I didn't at least try. Considering that I've only played Pathfinder once and had less than 24 hours to hammer it out, I'm proud of what I did.

Still, when compared to the entries that made it, I could tell it was lacking. So I'm posting it up now. I don't intend on submitting it again next year, so there's no reason to not make it available to the general gaming public to enjoy.

Also, I'm interesting in what people think of it. I can use this feedback to study for next year, and be fully prepared.

My reasons for creating the Touch of the Fae were several, mostly from a meta gaming aspect. I saw it as a toy players could not resist messing with. "Hey, let's put it on a hamster!" "Let's see what the jellyfish has to say." The opportunities for mischeif and abuse are rampant. It also seemed an easy way to have an animal NPC. Want an intelligent, talking T-rex? Tie Touch of the Fae to his arm.

In fact the genesis of the idea was a player awakening a T-rex in a jungle in the Dragon Empires and the T-rex composes a haiku before eating him.

T-rex eating you haiku are also acceptable feedback.
