I do enjoy Andressa, but I've also got a few other ideas kicking around in my head. Due to the circumstance of the story revolving in halcyon a bit more than I thought we didn't really get to explore the other universe's nor get a chance to go to Andressa's 'home' to visit with the krol'kraza. But I think her just sort of sticking around and being weird at the school and generally causing minor mischief is probably a viable story for her to continue down. Eventually she would have most likely ventured back out into the stars driven away by some greater need to keep going to new places, seeing as this Earth is pretty well under control. She'd certainly pop back in to check up on her new friends and would likely call on them in turn whenever they called. I was kind of thinking about maybe a nova who's very wizard/magey, book smarts for magic sort of thing. Or maybe a transformed, though in not sure exactly what yet(there are so many ideas here it's hard to settle on one lmao), or maybe a power stealy delinquent(this one was an idea before siphon believe it or not). Gonna wait to hear some other ideas on playboys before settling though.

Trip thought on that for a while, "This place does seem to have a higher than usual propensity for strangeness. Maybe it's just something in this verse that makes it... appealing to strive for something better? I think we could go with you, if just for a bit to ask about a few things myself. I really would like to get to the bottom of any possible invasions before they happen, and maybe see if there's been any signal from the princess about that whole bounty on our heads situation."

Hux was the first to notice Isaiah pop around the corner and gave a greeting chirp in his direction, with that same sing-song melodical tone, prompting Andressa to turn. "Ah Isaiah, yes i'm looking into a being I heard about at one of the club functions at the school." She points to the monitor showing The Alien. "No doubt you remember this species from your time connecting with me in the verse? Nuovan, this one is called V'Kovens and it seems in his time here he was quite a hero fighting against something called Axis-Germany and the Nazi people? I wanted to do a further dive into his presence to make sure that there wasn't some secret plot to invade and consume Terra into the Nuovan empire here, but the information here does not even say where V'Kovens subsists now." Andressa inclined her head trying to think of how long Nuovan's lived but coming to the realization that she didn't know that much about their biology. She turned with a bit of concern reading on her face to the outsider, "Do you think I should talk with the Alliance and see if I can secure a meeting with him?" Prae: I believe they wish to give you time? There have been many strange things happening for you and them.
I can't begin to say I understand them all, or know of them all, but I believe it all is meant for the best. I don't know what Siphon's reasons for being disheartened are but I don't believe they are quite so dark. I shall endeavor to keep my wits about me, it goes without saying i've learned to do that in my time among the stars. This may come as a shock, but my choices of adventure didn't always lead me to have many friends or allies. You must do what you must to survive before anything else. How goes your training and studies? I'm looking into an old hero known as The Alien when I return to blockbuster.

Prae:
"I believe it was best to give you time. I hope I won't havr to rely on you too much to have the other girls take care of me, almost sounds ominous. The others seem okay heavily tasked, I have been assisting Isaiah in partitioning data to help sort it's own feelings on humanity, it has also helped me with my own questions in part. Shin and I have been exploring the school system and have both decided it is difficult in it's own way, i cannot speak for him, but I find the sciences and mathmatics trivial at best and your history is well convoluted. Unsurprisingly difficult to navigate when it's all new to me you see. I have seen very little of Psyche, Rory has been equally absent due to classes. Siphon has been attempting to settle in as best she can. Emotions are hard to read for me but i believe she was regretful that her staying caused you to separate yourself from us. Oh! We are continuing our investigation into the gang that stope the androidians, but have come to a bit of a dead end. But we met someone new who was hunting down soemthing called the codex? Big machine looking guy calls themselves Steel Guardian. How have you been doing? Everything going well with your brother? Let us know of you need any assistance." Base
With that she and Hux, now securely curled around her body traveled to the main hub for Blockbuster to see if the search spat anything out.

Shin:
Andressa gave a nod, "I thought the others said that there were some other boys trying to get one together?" She watched him check his phone and declare his need to head out. "Okay be safe out there Shin." She waved him off and continued on her way and with a outward sigh she was alone, a feeling she hated. Text to Kayla:
"Hello Kayla this is Andressa, no Hux or anyone else with me right now. School has been going well it's strange and difficult, but not because it's challenging if that makes sense. I believe i've made it onto the girls volleyballing team. I wanted to thank you for the clothes that you provided me when I got here they have been good to blend in with the others here. We miss you and hope you are doing well." And back to base Andressa arrived at the base looking drained she quickly scoured the compound for her not-so little friend La'Hux'Ti and wrapped her arms around the dracanoid seeming to immediately brighten. "Oh I missed you so much friend I'll tell you all about my day, and you yours." The two eventually made their way to Siphon to whom's question the pair cocked their heads. "What is Whiskey Snowglobe? Blackout like the electrical phenomena? The significance of age at this event?"

Andressa grinned at the challenge and played as she would have, but knowing she found several instances where she was overconfident in her abilities and messed up. Determined she would push herself up and go at it all again, she'd never been good at working with a team not more than her and Hux and it showed in her style despite her best efforts. At the end of the practices she nodded to the coach hearing but not really listening. "Yeah that sounds good. I should get going though." She moved to catch up with Shin "See you tomorrow terrifying coach person." She caught up with Shin "Well that was good, you did really well maybe you can help get the boys team going? I'd hate to have been the only one to gain anything from this practice." Andressa didn't seem to notice when Shin pulled out his phone and texted Grace. "Can't wait to get back to Hux he'll be so excited... also I miss him. It's weird all of this school stuff." Good with the scene myself, Andressa and Shin can back and forth banter in previously tags

Sorry been meaning to post, but having brain block as my mind has been consumed with fleshing out my Warhammer Wrath and Glory character Andressa finds bumping the ball between them quite easy though she has several occasions where she hits the ball far too hard sending it way into the air or uncontrollably in one direction or another. Soon enough she's got bumping and setting down however. "This doesn't seem too bad, especially if this is everything to it. Set me up so I can try hitting it over the goal Shin." She bumped the ball towards the net but not far enough that it'd go over, with enough hang time that Shin would be able to get under it for a proper set. If he got a good set for her she'd run and crouch down careful not to jump too high, but launching herself skyward back arched and arm outstretched she would spike the ball into the corner near the net just within the lines demonstrating great control of the ball for spikes. Landing she'd look to Shin and Grace with a played up huff, "Was that acceptable?" Controlled spikes are fairly difficult iirc from my limited time playing volleyball irl also you gotta have pretty mad HOPS, not sure if it's enough to secure a spot on the team but in a non-game scenario she can't show off much hustle

Andressa nodded in agreeable with Shin, "I'll send them a message real quick." pulling out the communicator delicately disguised as one of those cellular phones, a goofy name considering they were definitely not organic nor nano-scopic. She sent a message to the team channel. "I was talking with Shin about our club days when we first joined the school. Does anyone know more about a hero known as The Alien? The Nuovan in question came up when I was at the space club, but noone seemed to realize it was a Nuovan. It would be wise to check and make sure this planet isn't set in the sights of their Empire." Watching Shin and his strange shyness towards Grace she started forming ideas in her own mind, but had the tact to keep them to herself for now. Standing and removing the hoodie that Kayla had bought her so that she only wore a tank-top, she was ready to join. "Should Shin and I try this together? Since we are both new to this sport it might do well for us both to practice."

Andressa managed to get by without answering thanks to Shin talking about his falsified past which she was pretty thankful for. She also followed the general group in returning their trays after some cleanup of the area. On the way to class she decides to chatter with Jaden, "So volleyball must be a fairly prodigious sport here if everyone is trying to get another team together? Think I could make the team?" After classes Andressa will head to the gymnasium alongside Shin just to see what kind of glorious combat sport volleyball is. She takes a seat near him and talks for a bit about the club day the other week. "I never got back with you or anyone really about the clubs, I think I may have slipped up at the astronomancy club when they were talking about alien heros of this world. One of the first to interact was a Nuovan who had adopted the colloquial name of The Alien. But noone seems to know that they were a Nuovan, which I can only surmise means that the individual was either a very good forward scout seeing if this territory was ripe to overtake for the empire, or some sort of renegade against the others."

The excitement seems to bleed from Andressa after Shin joins in the joyous moment. "Yeah volleyballierans or whatever let's do it." At Shin's whisper she nods, and climbs down from the table to look at the others. "May have gotten a bit too excited there, but I think I'd like to join or at least give it a try if you don't mind. The game I mean." And with that Andressa will clear insecure due to feeling pumped and invincible.

Tried to sit down and write a post out last night, ended up rewatching Arcane instead whoops Turning in her seat and pushing from the table a bit to get a better view of Sophie raising an eyebrow at the phrase 'we went to state' aren't we already in a state? she thought and then everyone got a sudden jolt of school spirit juice. Not immune to the effects of the phenomenal jolt of jubilation and egged on at everyone's sudden spree of 'school spirit' fueled outbursts and thinking this is a normal thing to get this excited about joins in. Pushing completely out of her seat, standing, performing a 'hop' with her arms thrown up she cheers. "YEAH LET'S BEAT THOSE WOLVES AND SHOW THEM THAT OURS IS THE BEST LARGE CARNIVORE!" Her hop however was enough to nearly clear the table they had been eating at and she nearly catches the edge with her sneakers as she lands again. The surge of 'spirit' leaving her for just a moment like a temporarily ebbing wave. Before the last shimmering flakes of psy-juice fade she looks to Shin, "Go on and get those volleyballs show em who's boss!" Comfort/Support(Shin with pure energy!): 2d6 + 1 ⇒ (3, 6) + 1 = 10 If Shin accepts(it may also be a provoke depending on Stalwart's interpretation) but if C/S: Mark a potential, clear a condition, or shift labels if you open up(accept the challenge in this case?) and i'll clear my insecure via Psychic induced ego boost. That could widely swing some interactions, I imagine it's a blanket psy-wave. But maybe the gang's interaction with psionics gives them some more resistance? Curious if it's gonna affect the team myself though.

Might not count enough towards celebrating with Siphon but if it counts Stalwart gets to alter my labels as per. -When you share a triumphant celebration with someone, ask them what they admire about you(like what you saw) The GM will shift one of your labels up and one down based on what they say Halcyon High
During one of the mathmatics classes, she thinks they called it Calculus was horribly boring, terribly inefficient, and in many accounts just incorrect. When she raised her hand, a practice she had learned was required to speak openly, to ask the teacher why the equation only equated to a singular answer she was reminded they were still a non-space faring, three dimension species here. 'Seriously who doesn't know Glorphax's equation of hyper-interpolaton?' The chemistry classes were very simple, like a child's game really, but it was always a little interesting to see how thermodynamics worked on different planets, half of the stuff they were talking about would be impossible on many of the methane planets she had been too. The literature caught her by surprise she delved into the fiction section of their library, with actual honest to Thrak paper books, with an almost reckless abandon finding the various tales of fantasy inspiring. It was almost cute how many people crafted stories about fake entities and beings on this planet they'd probably lose their minds if they were ever taken to places where these things were real. Or maybe if they knew that many of the dreams where these stories were born from could be explained, at least partially, by the entanglement of their endless versions simply living their lives, being projected across the metaversal gauntlet. She made a mental note to talk to Isaiah later discussing the possibility of sharing the historical information about the tragedy that was the Galvarian ascendancy with the Terrans, maybe that would help them prepare for their inevitable introduction to the stars with less volatile results. It felt like an eternity but finally the bell rang and Andressa started to pack up only to realize that the school day was half over, but on the bright side Jaden invited her to sit with 'the gang' at lunch. She enjoyed the conversation, and was maybe a little weird about the school food. It was a strange texture and taste, though one could say that about Kaltamari from LX388 but noone could deny those little fried suckers were tasty. She tried to distract anyone from her weirdness by asking questions of the team, since she didn't actually know anything about basketball.
Spotting Shin during lunch she flagged him down to the table with the kind of loud obnoxiousness born of time spent in packed station hubs, "Hey come sit with Jaden and the others we're talking about games!"

Ok I think it's super late to say this but I think Trip may have grown into herself a bit. I say this because while her and Isaiah have been having their own bonding experience the rest of the team hasn't been in a position to make any bonds with her, especially with Kayla leaving, and the focus shifting to getting Siphon on board with the team. She's also slowly trying to acclimate to Earth culture a bit more and trying very hard to explore these weird terran emotions she has been feeling since she's been with the group. I would say she hasn't grown away from the group though because noone has actively pushed her away, not even Kayla after the incident(not anymore beyond separating herself from the team). I also have to say, sorry for the huge chunk of radio silence, still trying to figure out the house stuff while also already having to start my new job(before I actually move to where it's not a 2 hour drive one direction x.x). Between that and the usual brainslump, post convention depression, and general just trying to do life stuff. I haven't had a whole lot of free braincells to dedicate to writing anything here. However I hope to get back to it a bit more once everything calms down and i get all this reality under my feet again. oh btw danger down superior up(-1 and 2 respectively)

Between, working on my current house for reappraisal, and sorting things out with work and the place i'm moving too i've been pretty drained x.x I think we need a moment to gnash out some of the conditions that everyone has built up and then tackle the next action bit. We've been riding the dramallama for a while now which is all good and part of the game, but it's been a pretty non-stop slap fest of emotion with only a spattering of tiny tiny wins for the team. Even the bigger wins have been sort of torn down by the adult(looks at Silver) doing a "Are you sure about that?" and Prae leaving the group, which we haven't had a good moment to actually address I guess?

Hmm hard to say how Trip has grown. She feels a bit weird by how Kayla left, but that's not exactly new for her people come and go including herself in the multiverse. But she was rather attached to hanging out with her Hero's daughter. Isaiah and Trip have had a bit of bonding in their own weirdness, but I don't think the team overall has been super on board to get to know her more. Kinda all been dealing with their own thing including the new arrival and recent departure. Glad that everyone is giving Siphon a chance but not sure if that's exactly growing into the team, seems more growing into herself as someone who can offer reasonable change to the places she interacts with.

Trip gave a short sigh at the discourse between everyone and their reluctance to move forward, "Alright how's this, Isaiah you send some probes forward, meanwhile we all take a few moments to meditate and recenter ourselves. I know some Kroll hymns that might help everyone relax a bit. And if you need some more processing power to sort through data we can link up again." Though it may not be apparent to those more human and out of the know there was little emotion behind Trips suggestion to 'link-up' with Isaiah beyond actually wanting to aid her ally. Were there any other implication of the phrase she seemed blissfully unaware.
