Amenephus takes advantage of a little more space, and moves (to W4) and mutters a quiet curse under his breath: Halo of Consequence against Flame of Volund (v Reflex): (1d20+10=28) If that hits, the Flame of Volund is affected by my halo of consequence (save ends). Until the halo ends, it takes a -4 penalty to attack rolls, and after it attacks me or an ally, it is dazed until the end of its next turn. It also takes a -2 penalty to saving throws against the halo.
Amenephus shifts backwards (to X2) and launches an attack against the Flame of Volund: Destined Duel against Flame of Volund (v Reflex): (1d20+10=23, 1d10+5=14) If that hits, then Nayce can have a +2 power bonus to attack rolls until the end of my next turn. Saving throws v mark by Flame of Volund and ongoing fire damage respectively: (1d20=15, 1d20=16) "Get stuffed, sparky! Now, does anyone need healing?" Amenephus is now on 38hp out of 71

Spoiler: While I'm in circulation, and vaguely awake, I thought I'd post now!
Amenephus, somewhat disconcerted by not being able to see anything, feels that discretion is the better part of valour this time round! Shift to X3, and use second wind With his regeneration, Amenephus is now on 60hp out of 72. Saving throw v blind: 18 "I can see!" If anything changes between now and when I need to post, I'll review it. In particular, if I'm hit by anyone I'll use Winter's Shroud (Immediate Reaction) to teleport 3 squares and gain concealment until the start of my next turn.
Rev DM
Spoiler: My move, in case you're happy for me to take it now?:
Using his Fey Step, Amenephus transports himself into the fray (to X3) and uses his Divine Power (close burst 2) on: M1; M3; S2; S3; S4; and FV. 1d20+8 v Fort; 2d8+1 radiant damage. In addition, if I hit, I push the target 1 square. Edit: The attack on S2 was a crit, so the damage is 17 radiant. For clarity: M1 - 16 v Fort, 8 radiant damage; M2 - 20 v Fort, 13 radiant damage; S2 - crit v Fort, 17 radiant damage; S3 - 20 v Fort, 6 radiant damage; S4 - 24 v Fort, 14 radiant damage; FV - 16 v Fort, 7 radiant damage. As an effect, until the end of the encounter I gain regeneration 5, and me and each ally within the burst gains a +2 power bonus to AC - that'll be me, Rusty and Dorvin.
All
Spoiler: I'm back, baby! Sorry I've been away for a while - show, then wedding, then honeymoon, then work asking for ways that I can help trim the overall budget by 25% in 3 years (challenging!)
But I'm not a quitter! Once I've read all (52 pages of) the back story, I'll be up to speed and ready to seriously prod buttock!
"I am bored with your company now." Amenephus moves forwards (to L9) and uses Divine Fortune (Free action; +1 bonus to attack roll) and Forgemaster's Flame. Forgemaster's Flame on M1 v AC: 1d20+8+1; 2d8+1 'clouted on bonce' damage Rolls: (15)+8+1=24 v AC; (5)+(4)+1=10 'clouty' damage. Effect: As I've used a Channel Divinity power this encounter, I mark the target until the end of my next turn, and an ally within 5 squares of me (Dorvin) can spend a healing surge plus 5hp. Amenephus is now on 25hp, and is bloodied again!
As a minor action, Amenephus casts a healing word on Dorvin: Healing Word on Dorvin: Surge plus (2d6+5=11) He then sends another Sacred Flame towards the Ghast: Sacred Flame on Ghast (v Reflex): (1d20+10=30, 1d6+5=11) Note: as that's a crit (which happens to have rolled max damage anyway), Amenephus does 2d6 extra damage: Additional Crit Damage: (2d6=10) That's a total of 21 radiant damage In addition, because I've hit, one ally I can see (Dorvin again, probably) can either gain 7 temp hp, or can make a saving throw. "You really are very naughty indeed!"
Amenephus is back! Moving back into the fray, Amenephus glides forwards (to H13) and casts a Sacred Flame on the Ghast: Sacred Flame v Reflex: 1d20+10; 1d6+5 radiant damage. Rolls: (19)+10=29 v Reflex; (3)+5=8 radiant damage. In addition, because that hits, one ally I can see (Dorvin) can either gain 7 temp hp, or can make a saving throw. Amenephus is now on 53hp, and is not bloodied.
Fabes DM wrote: As explained previously, Ddraig, they're 10 ft up in the trees. Would you like to rethink your go? Your breath can get them, if you breath upwards. Sorry - too much going on! I'll keep the dragon breath, pointing it upwards (and presumably dissolving some trees at the same time!), but I'll ignore the valiant strike (unless you're prepared to accept that a 6'4" dragonborn, with his arm held up and a sword on the end can reach the legs of someone 10' up a tree?)
"You there - stop doing naughty things!" Halo of Consequence against IB: Halo of Consequence (v Reflex) on Indrecalla Bateater: (1d20+10=19) If that hits, IB is under my Halo (save ends), and takes a -4 penalty to attack rolls, and after she attacks me or any ally she is dazed until the end of her next turn. She also takes a -2 to saving throws against saving throws for the Halo. If it doesn't hit, it's reliable!
I'll start off at G14, and will fire a Lance of Faith at R4. Lance of Faith v R4: (1d20+10=27, 1d8+5=11) An ally gains a +2 power bonus on their next attack roll against R4 - any takers?
"Would you willingly increase the suffering of the majority, who have remained loyal to the contract, because of the fevered gold-lust of the few? Is it not clear that this tainted substance indicates that no dwarf has willingly or intentionally broken the contract?" Arcana Check: 1d20+12+2=(12)+14=26
Rev DM wrote: And is he dead or unconscious, Amenephus? He's on exactly 0hp. As he isn't a dwarf, I'm quite happy for him to be dead. Amenephus uses 4 healing surges, and is now up to full strength again. He has 1 surge left today, but I feel an extended rest coming on ... Rev DM Spoiler: I presume that you're happy that my dazed condition is ended with the end of combat? If not, I can use my Periapt of Cascading Health to end it (as I should have done during my last round!)
Amenephus fires another bolt of divine fire at the Journeyman: Sacred Flame v Journeyman: 1d20+9 v Reflex; 1d6+5 radiant damage. Rolls: (19)+9=28 v Reflex; (5)+5=10 radiant damage, and an ally I can see - Quillan, I think - can have 6 temp hp. Rev DM: Spoiler:
You were indeed right - it's 2 + half my level temp hp. I told you I don't understand Clerics! Save v being dazed: 6! Amenephus is currently on 4hp.
Amenephus hurls divine fire in the direction of the Journeyman: Sacred Flame v Reflex Sacred Flame v Journeyman: (1d20+9=25, 1d6+5=6) Assuming that hits, one ally can either gain 2 temp hp or make a saving throw. Quillan - If you're still blinded, feel free to make a saving throw; if not, please have 2 temp hp.
Rev DM wrote: Amenephus - Nayce is lying on a boiler above your head. You need to double move to get to him and can't use your Cure Serious Wounds until you are within melee reach of him. The spell can go off at the start of your next turn. Can I use my Fey Step to teleport onto the boiler, next to him? If so, I'll do that.
Rev DM Spoiler:
Sorry, but I'm in a meeting until 3:30 this afternoon, so I thought I'd post now. Amenephus, seeing Nayce's plight, moves (to D14) to offer major assistance: Cure Serious Wounds: The target regains hit points as if it had spent two healing surges, with an additional 5hp from me. That gives a total of 33hp - Nayce is no longer bloodied.
Amenephus braces himself for action, and casts a Lance of Faith against Sebastian: Lance of Faith: 1d20+9 v Reflex; 1d8+5 radiant damage. Rolls: (14)+9=23 v Reflex; (6)+5=11 radiant damage. If that hits, an ally gains a +2 power bonus to his or her next attack roll against the target. Nayce, methinks. Team Spoiler: OK, all - I've got one healing power left, and it's a daily - who needs it most? Nayce is the obvious candidate, but I'm conscious that Quillan doesn't have many surges left today. However, I don't know if, after this, we're looking at an extended rest - I presume so! Let me have your thoughts
Amenephus moves (to F11) and casts his Healer's Mercy. Close Burst 5 - each bloodied ally in burst can spend a healing surge, but I'm weakened until the end of my next turn. I'm is still weakened from the attack! Amenephus is on 24hp out of 66, so I'm bloodied. Rev DM
Spoiler: I presume that I can't use a healing surge myself, as I'm not my own ally. If that's wrong (and that would be REALLY helpful), then do let me know.
Rev DM Spoiler: As I'm going to be busy all of tomorrow (when I'm sure I'd need to post), I'll put my actions up now.
Amenephus furrows his brow and, as a minor action, casts a healing word on Nayce. He can spend a healing surge, with an additional 3 hp (Sorry - crap rolls!): Healing Word additional hp on Nayce: (2d6=3) He then casts a Halo of Consequence on Sebastian: Halo of Consequence on SU (v Reflex): (1d20+9=23) If that hits, he is affected by my halo (save ends): he takes a -4 penalty to attack rolls, and after he attacks me or any ally he is dazed until the end of his next turn. He also takes a -2 penalty to saving throws against the halo.
Amenephus has had enough of Hrongar: Forgemaster's Flame on Hr: 1d20+9+2 (for combat advantage) v AC; 2d8+3 Fire damage. Rolls: (16)+9+2=27 v AC; (7)+(3)+3=13 fire damage. Effect: As I've used a Channel Divinity power this encounter, I mark the target until the end of my next turn, and an ally within 5 squares of me (Nayce) can spend a healing surge. "I am sick of your stony visage."
Rev DM Spoiler:
Sorry - I'm posting out of turn, but may be tied up for much of today, and don't want to hold everyone up! Amenephus notes Nayce's unfortunate situation, and provides succour to his comrade: Healing word on Nayce: he can spend a healing surge + (6) + (5) = 11hp Amenephus then turns his attention to Hronagar: Sacred Flame v Hr: 1d20+9 v Reflex; 1d6+5 radiant damage. Rolls: (11)+9 = 20 v Reflex; (5)+5 = 10 radiant damage. If that hits, Quillan can have 6 temp hp. Amenephus is currently on 53 out of 66 hp.
