I guess we can wait to see what happen, at least to see if there is a new killing in the day we predicted

Will's advice seems wise..., I wonder what our Mysterious patron thinks about the new situation - Says Adrien and gives a short stare to mrs Silvia, silently askineg her if she can find out something about it.

God... - Adrien repeats from himself. -We might want to look if the other victims skipped work or also found god in the last months.

Works for me. I can't add much until then though.

Same here

It seems we have competition - Say Adrien with the Newspaper in his hand - Now there are legal basis to arrests us if they catch us investigating the case.

Anyways, what did you find Mr Wesson?

I gave my vote for withdrawing, not sure what the other might thingk

I think we already investigated the licence plate

While we could learn precious information investigating the house, it is too risky to proceed now since we have so little information about the watchers. I vote for withdrawing.

That seems to shatter down he theory of a government involvement, thought it could be a façade-says Adrien in a reflective way

Great.Though, if the watchers are from a government agency, they probably are expecting something like that and are prepared to track whoever look for the license plates.

Do you have the means to secretly investigate the license plate, Milo? - Adrien says.

It's not the first time sundakan gets banned. I think he create a new account, I don't know if he would ever want to do that though.

Adrien takes note of the suspicious car's License plate. Not much else to do here.

Again >:(

Adrien realizes that his words were not clear enough for Artemy. Nothing he can do about it now.

Adrien spent his time trying to see if somebody around reacts to Artemy's presence in there.

Perception: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (20) + 1 = 21

The log in the campaign info page is quite useful, but a list of the things we have found would be of great help to remember things. stuffs like the name of the victims, the day the died and etc.

If you were to take keep a secret watch on the house, from where will you do it, artemy? -

maybe from a house across the street? - Adrien Thinks

My knowledge of US houses is restricted to what can be seen in Tv shows/movies. can people from the houses nearby easily spy on their neighbor?

Probably Jake and Artemis are the best to spot if somebody is keeping a watch those locations, maybe we can divide in two groups with them as "Leaders".

I'm just waiting for someone to say yay or nay to Adrien's Idea

Adrien start spinning a pen to collect his thoughts about the matter, and then he says - Instead oc concentrating on what is in those addresses, We first have to check if somebody is keeping a watch on them as with Mr Herring place.

+1 to perception

We found some things, the most important one seems to be that other people beside us are interested in the victims. Two weird man were keeping an eye on one of the victim's family.

Adrien turns to Milo and Jake
Any chance to find out or to discard if the police or the FBI is involved in that?

As customary, Adrien take his time to investigate the meeting place surroundings, this time wit some more care due to last day incident.

Perception: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (15) + 1 = 16

It'd be weird showing up to people's houses late I guess. That, and I'm not feeling pressing our luck. If Adrien has a different idea, I'll go with it. Otherwise, yeah, I guess we should turn in.

Not really. I guess we should move

Though, did they take pictures of us or something?

Adrien does his bes to memorize the suspicious guys faces before leaving, and now that he is close to them try to notice anything that can shed more light about them.

Perception: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4 -Nevermind

Will, you should also roll for a perc, perhaps you can tell if the guys have hidden weapons, or something

Adrien turn his back to the two suspicious men and say to will and the others

It seems that someones have kept an eye on Mr Herring's family. Maybe somebody wants to know if anyone investigate Herring dead.

...yeah, how long?

Adrien try to remember when was the first time he saw those two

Perception: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (20) + 1 = 21

Adrien's accent might cause suspicion in the caretaker. The french guy prefers to stay quiet for now.

Uhm, I guess that if the caretaker knew him personally and what kind of family had Herring.

Let's try first to talk with the concierge first, perhaps we can gather some information that let us think in a convincing ruse to tell to Herring's family

Adrien frowns at Will mentioning Will's true lastname, but say nothing about it.

================

Do we also have Herrings apartment number? or just the address of the building?

I think and issue with me is that in the situations I've been is generally only on PC at a time that seems to be able to participate meaningfully, for now I'm just waiting will to finish his conversation.

I guess the after the first speech "usual" was meant to be an "unusual", right?

Adrien kill some time spinning a pen while Will is at the phone.

Adriens agrees, through in the inside not coming up with a better plan hurts his ego.

If you had to investigate the families as a part of a case and without making too much noise, what would you do Will?

Can somebody remind me if Will presented himself as a lawyer??

"Wait, are we going to be talking to the victims' families? Ugh." Delgado says, a displeased look on her face.

Not my favorite Idea, although at the moment I'm not seeing any way for us four to obtain more relevant information without a direct interview with the families. -

Will Wesson wrote:
"Mr. Adrien? If you'll be learning about the families, I'd like to go along with you. Ms. Freeman, Ms. Delgado?"

After a short reflection -très bien, I'll go with you.

Sorry, I was travelling a couple of days ago. Short flyings but the climate delayed the things.

GM MM MG wrote:

(Adrien, you wanted to investigate the victims a bit more. How will you do this?)

I know something about law and finance, so perhaps I can investigate the victim's criminal records and financial movements, though in real like I have no idea how to do something like that, so perhaps a couple of rolls

LAw: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 5 = 14
Finance: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (8) + 5 = 13

Somebody have to investigate the victims pasts - Say Adrien with after a sigh of resignation.

So, besides waiting for the next killing, they only thing that seems viable is to learn more things about the victims. In that regard, everything that involves showing our faces to other people could backslash to us, my opinion is that we should minimize our exposition and things like interviewing witht he families, at least face to face, should be a last resort if everything else fail. We should first look for autopsy reports, criminal records, financial information and...that's all I can think, it will be hard to get the information, at least legally.

"Mister Jingles" wrote:
how the killer does his work, it might shed light on who or why. Any thoughts on where to look for this?"[/b]

rolling to think about possible causes of an induced heart attack. And to know if they are detectable under an autopsy

Biology: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (16) + 5 = 21

Malcolm Grey wrote:

"Assuming we haven't missed any victims the lack of killing on Saturday could mean something. But what?" Mal wonders. "The first thing that jumps out me is something religious."

Or it could be a coincidence, we'll have to wait until march the 20 to have more information. Assuming the killings doen't scalate as we have two deads in the same day...uhm,...these last two,... we have to check if any of the last two victims had previous cardiac issues, it could be a misleading data.

Duh, I'm just remembering that february doesn't have 30 days :p

I'll go with perception since Adrien believe in recollecting data before taking actions.

In the morning Adrien try to stay in his regular academic schedule, and only in the breaks he thinks about the roshburg killer.

Adrien arrives 15 minutes earlier to take a look at the place and the people around, Though later the idea that so predictable behaviour could present a problem in the future.

Right to the point Adrien says -Four males, three females. From taxi driver to corporate director. No deaths on saturdays yet.
The first one or two victims might have been tests for the killer's method and te following one be a ralated to the killer. Between Ron Parks and Lewis Herring there was a murder every eight days, asuming they where murders of course. Nine days later two killing the same day. The eight day regularity is intriguing, I wonder if the killer planned the last two deads for march 3 but something delayed him.

Better to tell Malcolm to laeve the restricted area alone, in case he have the wrong ideas.

Adrien let Jake to do the calling (if any) and for now just wait while pondering the pros and cons of trying to look for the datain the restricted sector.

I guess in the hospital jake and I wait outside so nobody see Malcolm with us

Malcolm Grey wrote:
[/b] He scratches his chin, "We might need a back up plan any ideas?"

For a start, in order to make our search harder to connect to the Roshburg killer cases, we need to look for more than the seven victims we are interested in. Another ten or fifteen... gender, race and age chosen at random just for distraction.
