| Welcome all Pathfinder Society Lodge Members.
Starting tonight, we will be doing Session Zero for the Beginner Box, and potentially starting with Beginner Box gameplay as early as tonight, depending on attendance (and tech issues).
We will be performing gameplay on Foundry/Forge, while using Discord for Voice Chat.
Gameplay will begin at 5:00 pm and will go on until 9:00 pm.
The GM will also be available up to 30 minutes prior to the start of the game and will remain available for 30 minutes after the session has ended, in order to facilitate questions, concerns, etc.

To participate, you will need the following:
1. A valid account with Forge, as a player.
2. A valid account with Discord.
3. A stable internet connection.
4. A computer with the necessary specifications needed to support online gameplay via Foundry/Forge, which can be found on Forge's website.

A word on Gameplay at the Salem PFS Online Lodge:
We'll be running games here in "Adventure Mode", rather than the typical modes of society, which predominantly revolve around Bounties, Quests, and the like.
This means that for "Adventure Mode", you'll be creating two PC's: One of which conforms to PFS Legality Standards (of which you'll be attaching the PFS Game Credit that you earn to), and another one which you'll be using for actual gameplay.
For actual gameplay, the following Variant Rules are being allowed for PC Creation:
A. The "Free Archetype" Variant Rule. (GMG 194)
B. The "Ancestral Paragon" Variant Rule. (GMG 194)
C. The "Gradual Ability Boost" Variant Rule. (GMG 182)
All three of these rules can be found in the Gamemaster's Guide (GMG), or can otherwise be found elsewhere on Archives of Nethys (AoN). |
