The Eureka Hill Horror

Friday evening, 6:00–11:00 pm, 2017 • Cascade 1

Near the end of the Cold War, a remote Air Force radar station atop forested Eureka Hill was shut down. Decades later, with the site’s land lease set to expire, a private company with plans to expand into space travel and satellite manufacturing is set to purchase the land and decommissioned building from the government. You are part of the small group of specialists sent to examine and assess the abandoned station to determine its viability as a potential site for the company’s development, but is there anything to be made of the rumors about the abandoned station? Is it really haunted? Have there really been sightings of Bigfoot in the surrounding woods? What were the real reasons for the station being shut down? And why do local radios sometimes pick up strange broadcasts of numbers from the site? What unspeakable horror awaits on Eureka Hill?

Pathfinder Lost Omens, Rulebook Subscriber

HI all.
If you got into Eureka Hill Horror specifically to play with James Jacobs (and who could blame you?) but the precise game itself isn't as important to you, I'm looking to swap into the game and have Slaughter on Scartop (also James!) available for trade! If it at all sweetens the deal, I'll also throw in Mind Wide Shut which is Friday night.

What level are the pre-gen PCs?

Hi there, folks! Welcome to Eureka Hill!

This game uses the Call of Cthulhu system, and that means your PCs don't have character levels at all. I can't tell you much about them yet because I haven't yet created them, but I can tell you this—the adventure takes place in the late 90s and you've all been hired by a company called Jupiter Tech to investigate the viability of the old Air Force base on top of Eureka Hill. Each character will have her or his own specialty... and perhaps their own secret reason to want to investigate Eureka Hill in the first place!

AHHHH!!!!!!

I was just looking over my events for PaizoCon and something is terribly wrong!!!!

I was THRILLED when I got this event in the lottery and it is THE thing I am/was MOST excited about and now it's gone from my schedule and in it's place is some event different event??? PLEASE tell me this was a snafu and it can be fixed, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!?!?!?!?!

I've sent an e-mail to customer service about it, but, if someone suddenly had this event appear on their schedule today, could you PLEASE PM me and/or contact customer service?

I saw in another thread you'd put up some trades. Is it possible you listed it for trade by accident and someone took the trade?

No, I do have some proposed trades currently but definitely not for this! like I said, I was super excited to have gotten this in the lottery - I would never have traded it away, especially by mistake :(

This really stinks. I'm holding out hope that customer service can figure out what happened and fix it

Great game!

And the fact that Greg Vaughan came to play made it even better. The icing on the cake was that, since Greg Vaughan's dice were cursed for the evening, he kept borrowing mine!
