Hmmm... I may have to insert a vorpal shovel into my campaign now! :D
Great story! Rorr is a very engaging character. I like his arrangement of priorities:
1. Family
2. Work
3. Killing those who try to take 1 and or 2 away from him
Yup, the man has his priorities.
Still, reading the story, man, that Suvarian character... I guess even after he realizes the situation he was in, he still couldn't back down.Itchy |

Makes sense. If he backed down from a farmer he would have lost the respect of all his men. He was already losing it (notice they wouldn't follow orders anymore?). If he didn't back up his threats he would have lost his whole band of followers. At least by attacking he stood a chance of keeping the band of bandits together if he survived.
Whited Sepulcher, I just caught your name and am intrigued as to why you chose it. I am familiar with the most famous source of that term.

You know, I *almost* -almost- felt sorry for him. I mean, what are the odds?
A retired Aldori swordlord farming just where he wanted to set up a grand pasture?
Seriously. What deity was that ticked off at Lord jerk-face Suvarian?
Note to self: if any of my characters run into a farmer who produces an Aldori dueling sword, do NOT say 'Where did you steal it?'. Try 'Can we work something out? Would you like to trade this land for a much better plot elewhere, perhaps?'.

I chose it for a previous avatar picture I had in mind when I registered this account and also inspired by a villain concept I had in mind, having someone looking heroic/great on the outside and is actually a scheming villain on the inside.

That would be an appropriate name/title for that sort of villain, and it is the worst sort of villain!
