About 8-10-U8 "Attenuate"
Manufactured by the Android Mechanic Z-2, 8-10-U8 spent years in Alluvion supporting his master's exploits, providing medical aid in and out of combat.
When Z-2's brother Z-4 left to join the Starfinders, Z-2 set out to do the same, but he was unready for the uncertainties of adventure in the larger, real-space universe. As Z-2 fell, 8-10-U8 pumped him full of medicinals and boosters, trying to save his master, but failed.
In some quirk of fate--perhaps guided by Triune--8-10-U8 became sentient as his master died, transitioning from a mechanic's drone to a Sentient Robotic Organism!
In his master's memory, the distraught SRO decides to carry on the Starfinder mission as best he can, taking on the moniker "Attenuate" as his designation to better interact with other sapients.
