As far as I know, it does explode. You get Acing (exploding) dice when ever you roll a 4, 6, 8, or 12 on the respective dice.

This is just a minor point, but if you get a bonus on your "regular" roll, like a +1 from an Edge, and either dice Aces, you do *not* add the bonus to the Ace re-roll - because the bonus has already been incorporated into the initial roll.

Kara watches the lumbering creature head for the hills, making sure it doesn't turn back. "I always heard they were vegetarians, but who knows since the rifts started popping one damn thing after another our way."

On the dice thing, I prefer to make the basic rolls first, including any aces, and then when the best outcome is determined, add the bonus to that.

Kara wakes up in the morning, and eats some of the trail rations she brought with her. She greets the others as they wake up. Once everyone's done eating, she says "Well, shall we get on with it?"

Frankie nods, eyes bleary. He doesn't seem to be a morning person. "Yeah, let's get on the road. We can eat in the saddle."

Even though nobody has made or offered to make coffee, Agate gets up and says, "Coffee? Yes, please!"

Malachi takes the hint and gets out a custom made portable coffee brewing device and sets it to work. Soon there is a pot of Java to enjoy. He sends Björn out to forage for his breakfast.

Waking up bleary eyed, Julian makes his way for a coffee.

He then will take the time to shave, and clean up before he is ready for the day.
