[SFS2 Playtest] Cosmic Birthday (Inactive)

Hello!

I'm recruiting six players who would like to play through this playtest adventure, learning the rules together. Wee will start building characters together on August 3, and hopefully begin the story on August 8. The game will be reported as a society game. I will leave recruitment open for 48 hours, or until I have 9 applicants, after which I will make my choices to put together a party. It's OK that you won't be familiar with the rules when we start and probably don't know what kind of character you want to make; we'll be learning together!

Not to make a slightly mistaken sci-fi pun, but how will you choose the 6…of….9?

Interested! I know only a smidge of PF2, and nothing of SF2. But would like to give it a try.

A 266 page playtest!?!? Count me in! OMG the art is beautiful!

Interesting to see that they are citing GM Core & Player Core as required to run the playtest effectively.

We-ell, I just remembered that there is a non-zero chance someone might want to play a skittermander or a ysoki, and as they are SF’s version of gnomes and halflings, I’ll back away quickly…

I’d love to be in to learn SF, The Next Generation.

As I understand it, SF2 is pretty similar to PF2, and so far my experiences with the latter have unfortunately not been the best. I haven't been able to 'click' with the system yet.

So I will step aside, and give others an opportunity to join.
