I've moved everyone forward a bit and put Toshiro into position to open the door.
Toshiro opens the door.
In the next room, you see a tall, splindly four-armed creature that appears to be made of stone and crystal. (picture put onto map for your reference) The creature notices you, and speaks into your minds "I have observed you for some time. What manner of creatures are you? What do you seek here?"

You know that this is a vault keeper, one of the two kinds of xiomorns. They are one of the most primival forms of life, and are earth outsiders. They have damage reduction that adamantine or bludgeoning get around, and strong spell resistance.
The creature identifies itself as Iluchtewhar. You find the Vault
Keeper to be cold and emotionless. It is very interested in the world above, and its questions focus on a combination of what the beings of this world know about its kind and what sorts of surface-dwelling creatures might make good minions.
Eventually, it will get bored and attack you.

Kahwen answers the creature's questions as best he can, though he feels quite unsuited to tell it what ancestries might make the best servants.
When it tires of the conversation and lurches to attack, he ducks a little as several arrows whip past him from Roland's bow.
Then, he slips past Toshiro.
"Excuse me, Friend Toshiro," he says, dropping his sword and pulling out a silvered mace from his belt.
He slides on one hip to avoid the attack he assumes is coming from moving past the creature.

The creature falls over as Kahwen's mace smashes into it.
Toshiro, you're not down, even ignoring the crit negating stuff; Cerisa healed you. I showed how many HP you are down in an earlier post.
reroll of possible critical hit: 1d20 + 24 - 2 ⇒ (18) + 24 - 2 = 40
So that becomes a normal hit, and Toshiro takes 10 less damage. That puts Toshiro at a total of down by 79 HP from that fight.
As the team defeats the Vault Keeper, a tremor shakes the entire Emerald Spire. The ground shakes under your feet, and bits of stone fall from the ceiling. You feel an enormous pulse of energy pass through the room from the direction of the spire. Then you hear distant echoes of the tremors on the levels above you. Those of you who can detect magic even notice that the magical aura coming from the emerald spire itself seems decreased. The enemy's body crumbles in a way that seems somewhat suspicious.
You move on to the next room, where there is an odd creature who refuses to interact with you, seemingly too confused by the wave of magical energy. In the next room after that, you find a temple to the elemental lord Ayrzul, the Fossilized King. The body of the enemy you just defeated seems to be slowly reforming in this temple. You realize that you have only a short time to act before you will need to fight him all over again!

The reforming creature lights up from m the lightening, only to collapse to a puddle of goo. The goo promptly disappears, leaving you confident the creature is now gone for good. You are not sure exactly what the creature's plan may have been, but you are confident that you have fouled a plot that threatened the entire Inner Sea region which had been slowly developing over centuries.
As you make your way back out, you find that the Emerald Spire is somehow duller and flatter in color than it was before. You are still easily able to make your way out and return to the world above ground.
THE END

"Huzzah!" Kahwen says, brandishing his mace over his head as they defeat the creature the first time.
"Huzzah!" he says, again as Tessara electrocutes the reforming fiend.
He hurries to evacuate once the creature is dead again, doubling back several times to help his companions.
"It was prettier the other way," he says with a sigh, looking at the Emerald Spire. "Too bad that beauty was evil."
