Well, at least you get to try to atone for your mistakes. Hard to do that when you're missing your head. There's that to look forward to... Rallas says as he scans the water.

Percy and Boffins looks smugly satisfied at the group victory, pulling the prisoners out from under the Gardeners
"And as you can see, Galt is no friend of the sane. They aren't a solution, they are chaos and fire, they are destruction"

"Ya did sumptin' dumb, and might've gotten some folks killed," Trokkus says to Colson. "Good ta reckon wit' that. Then, get back at work and do better. There's always a path forward, just hard ta see it sometimes. Dawnflower taught me that."
"I'm sorry for the trouble I've caused. I think the path forward is for me to resign my position as head of the faction. It's best for all"
Kahwen sprints back to the keelboat, only going slow enough to ensure none of his companions are left behind.
He squats near Colson, his oversized coat making him look like a tiny tent with a crow's head sticking out and talking.
"You did what you thought was right. That's important. Sometimes, it's the most important thing. And we were there to help when it went wrong. Having people who can and will do
that is also an important thing," he says.

"Yes, that is true"

"No friend of the sane is an understatement"
As the boat drifts, many hours later another boat meets yours. Venture-Captain Eliza Petulengro steps on board your boat.
"Well Pathfinders I see that Colson is alive. What else to report?"
"Tell Valsin I resign." he says.

Granny has to catch her breath after that escape, and by the time her breathing settled down... the others have said what needs said. She simply sits beside the disgraced man quietly.

After Colson presents his resignation, though, Granny feels she needs to speak up. "If you need help figuring out what you're meant to do next, or just need someone to talk to... old Granny knows how to listen."
Then, she turns to miss Petulengro. "Everyone made it out safely. The Gardener in charge charmed the crowd, so you might want to pass that fact around the streets of Galt. I think I gave the citizens something to think about, but I don't know if it'll stick until after the charm wears off."
"No mortal deaths, but we did need to destroy a banshee and two nasty outsiders that were making the prison situation worse."

Aye...I'm fairly sure we rid the prison of the phantoms and whatnot...but might want to have a few accomplished priests go check it out to be certain. No telling if they can come back...

"Thank you Granny" says Eliza. She produces a scroll of teleport "This will enable you to return to the grand Lodge. I look forward to working with you on another mission soon!
The end

"One does what one can, dear. You don't need to flatter an old lady quite so much, though... the rest of you got us through that nasty fight in the prison."
She considers a moment, then grins and adds "I was mostly a distraction then, and during the execution that wasn't."
