to the square!
Colson's agent meets you and gets the Andorans to a ship. You ahead to the square.
A temperamental crowd fills the town square before a wide
scaffold, heaving and jostling as citizens strive for a clear view of
the gleaming guillotine and the masked Gray Gardener checking
over its mechanisms. Behind this executioner is a bound and
gagged bundle of a man in a sorry state. Dried blood crusts one
side of his face, not quite covering the bruise beneath; dark
circles line his half-closed eyes, and he slumps in a heap over the
manacles chaining him to the scaffold.
A woman’s voice carries over the murmur of the crowd. The
speaker stands at the other side of the scaffold, wearing the
distinctive cloak and mask of the Gray Gardeners, and it seems
she’s already been speaking some time. “And this, citizens of Galt,
is why we must remain vigilant! There is no end to those who feel
they are entitled to power, and they will inevitably find a way
to use what power they can grasp to abuse those they see as
lesser. Will we, the citizens of Galt, stand by idly while privileged
foreigners scheme to use us as tools for their own ends?” The
crowd erupts with a howl of indignation, and the speaker gestures
to the prisoner. “What sentence should he serve?”
The question seems expected, and the crowd responds with a
measured chant: “Death, death, death!”
the female mini is citizen dread the gray gardeners leader. Colson is the square and the other is the axe man. The circles are the crowds. The circle is citizens.

10' I'll say from movies
Percey and Rallas move to get ready to grab the Anodran Pathfinder and notice that he's severely injured and lies on the scaffold, he breathes but isn't moving. His eyes are closed and he has bruises on his stomach and back. His shirt is dirty and open.
@trokkus feel free to redo you action. Sorry if I missed that he's prone and not moving.'
Granny Cheechatkae |
Ah, the energy of youth. And the impulsiveness. Points for having their moral compass' on straight, though.
Charm person, so the crowd just gives the Gardener's words the benefit of the doubt. She could start with stinking cloud while they were still bunched up, but that would almost certainly turn everyone against them. Maybe start with an attempt at talking them down?
Move forwards 30'
With no time to dig out that scroll, Granny instead puts her years of making herself heard over a room of screaming children into practice.
"Did your mothers never teach you any better?" she asks in a well-honed "mom voice", projecting as well as she can. "This man tried helping you, and what did you do? You betrayed his trust, beat him, and are giving him to a Final Blade!"
Use Guiding Spirit trait as swift action to roll twice and take better. Try intimidating the crowd into backing down (in the social sense, not intimidate-to-make-shaken). If this isn't possible for this encounter... eh, she tried.

They head to the ship. Armeline directs the sailors to cast off.

"Ya did sumptin' dumb, and might've gotten some folks killed," Trokkus says to Colson. "Good ta reckon wit' that. Then, get back at work and do better. There's always a path forward, just hard ta see it sometimes. Dawnflower taught me that."

Kahwen sprints back to the keelboat, only going slow enough to ensure none of his companions are left behind.
He squats near Colson, his oversized coat making him look like a tiny tent with a crow's head sticking out and talking.
"You did what you thought was right. That's important. Sometimes, it's the most important thing. And we were there to help when it went wrong. Having people who can and will do that is also an important thing," he says.
