Preparation boons:
Ziggy's
Once during the adventure, the party can either:
gain a +2 bonus to all your starship attack rolls in a single round, and those attacks does not consume ammunition in the case of a weapon with the limited fire property.
OR you can instead use it to declare one successful starship attack a critical hit, even if it wasn't on a nat 20

Fitch's
Once this adventure your party can either:
* reroll one check to recall knowledge about any creature they encounter within the Scoured Stars, or
* give everyone in the party a +2 to all your initiative checks for an encounter (+4 if you've ID'd at least one of your enemies in this fight)

Historia-7's
ONCE during the scenario, you can use this to either:
* For one Computers check during starship combat roll two dice, take the better, then add another +4 to it, or
* attempt a Computers check as if you were trained in it (gettign to roll twice, take, better, add +4 to it), or
* when you fail a Computers check, you may re-roll it twice, take the better roll and add a +4 bonus to it

Radaszam's
Each of you can at one point this adventure requisition a weapon with an item level up to your PC’s level+1 for the duration of one mission. (each of you can use this at a different time, doesn't all need to be the same mission, though can be). The weapon comes with a fully charged battery or magazine, and must be requisitioned prior to an encounter actually starting.
In addition, you can each request and receive a single consumable item whose item level is equal to your own.

Arvin's
Once during the adventure you may either:
* have the whole party get the benefits of Aid Another (+2 bonus) to all skill checks and attack rolls for 1 round, or
* when your table uses an Aid token, gain two benefits instead of one (have to be two different benefits)

Naiaj's
Once during this adventure, you can either:
* give a +4 bonus to all of the party's Engineering and Piloting checks for a single round of starship combat, or
* Instead force the crew of an enemy ship to take a –2 penalty to all of their Engineering and Piloting checks made during the round.

Now that you have a chance to scour the ship's systems for it, Valas thinks he can quarantine the virus for now. It seems to have infected your ship through a short-range transmission, which means the source is likely nearby. The structure of it is odd though - code is code but the virus fragments you can decipher seem of a very different style than those you've encountered before. The virus 'signature' doesn't seem to map onto any known hacker groups of Pact Worlds cultures.

You are able to detect many life signs off near the mass of crashed ships in the distance. In fact, upon closer inspection and analysis some of the starships seem to have fused together - whether as a result of impact or later adjustment is hard to tell from your landing site - into larger interlocked structures. Its from a few of those that the life signs are coming from.

Kalhoun checks that his sidearm is set to stun and draws it, bracing it on his off-hand as he advances. A floating mote of cyan electricity forms int he air near him, quickly surrounding his torso and causing his armor to glow. "Let's check that out. I'll take point."

Blooming Catastrophe Return to Grave

Armaments out, you all carefully make your way across the planet's surface towards the mass of crashed starships.

The trek over is a farily easy jaunt. While the planet's surface is a bit uneven, its lighter-than-normal gravity makes your movements nice and simple. Low-level Gravity Coming to the exterior of one of the 'fused' starship structures, you are able to find an opening into the space.

Inside you find that the melded ships have been combined much more thoroughly than just simplay having crashed into each other. Their decks and hulls have been in many places cut away and re-built, forming a whole built complex out of the starship's materials that stretch a good way across this section of the planet. Active lights powered on throughout the structure's hallways provide dim lighting as you move about.

You check several rooms and cooridoors, but find no other creatures, nor any sound except your own footsteps and the background hum of electrical power. Finally, turning a corner you find a larger space with multiple rooms and halls leading off of it. About fifteen meters away are three figures moving about - and in Starfinder uniforms! A human, kasatha, and lashunta are moving through the chamber ahead of you, seemingly going in the opposite direction.

With the laser and bullet fire paused, you're able to easily bind and check the fallen agents to confirm they are stable but unable to jump you again when they wake.

Computers DC 15:
A cursory examination of the nanobots gives you only so much at a glance, as they're a strange and unknown design. But the programming the nanobots are following does seem to be of the same programming language as that computer virus that targeted your ship on your descent!!

Once the three Starfinders are secure, you're able to look about the complex near where you found them. Going through a nearby doorway you are faced with a terrifying sight: dozens of humanoids in Starfinder uniforms all resting comatose in row upon row of stasis chambers!

DC 12 Medicine or Life Science:
Stasis-pods can be tricky, especially as you don't know just how long these Starfinders have been in them, nor who put them in these or why. Attempting to remove the bodies from their pods right now could permanently hurt or even kill them! This needs to be reported in so Histroia-7 or some other agents can get some real medical experts down here to figure out what to do and how to evacuate these agents.

In addition to reacting to above, don't forget to put in thoughts in the discussion thread for which mission you'd like to do next

Elian put on his mask and switches to a closed air supply as he sheathes his weapon. Although he isn't sure about his armor protecting him from nanites even so.

"Let's.. let's take a look here."

"It looks like these Starfinders are stable for now. I don't want to mess with the stasis pods until we've had a team to examine them thoroughly. We should report this in, though."

Valas will contact Historia-7 to let her know about the Starfinders in the stasis pods, as well as the mystery nanobots controlling the Starfinders.

Blooming Catastrophe Return to Grave

When you reach Historia-7, the android listens intently to your report. ”I see. A mixed blessing - excellent that Starfinders from the initial excursion remain alive, but that virus and program that lured and trapped them there remains deeply unsettling. Head back off the planet at once. I’ll arrange a full squad of medics and white-hat data security experts to secure the structure and make sure no further Starfinders are captured. The android pauses, then adds You did excellent work Starfinders. I understand fighting your colleagues can be stressful, but you did well keeping them alive until they can be fully restored.

So in the OC thread focusing on Evacuation seems loud and clear. And with no votes as to which of the current two, let’s just go down the list!

When the Pegataur lands back in one of the fleet’s hanger bays, you find Fitch waiting for you right there. Hey good you’re here. Been waiting for a crew to report back and we don’t got a lotta time. I’ve only got a couple minute before my kids realize I’ve snuck away and the shipboard’s starting to light up something fierce!

The ysoki motions for you to follow her towards a large personnel transport shuttles as she does a walk-and-talk. Some other Starfinders found a beacon that had some data about a Starfinder outpost on Agillae-1. It’s a big planet, but not long ago our ships started getting a bunch of SOSs from down there. Lotta different messages, but they all boil down to ‘We’re under attack!’. Some kinds of carnivorous creatures native to the planet, but that’s all we know. I’ve got Gourdy here all gassed up to get them out. Grab your weapons and hurry down there! And good luck!

You all have time for a Stamina rest if you’d like (just let me know/confirm if your using one. Will post full start of mission - The Last Outpost- later today

"We don't have a healer, so we," says Elian once they're back on the Pegotaur, "Do we have a medic?"

Stamina break, yes. If nobody can do any HP healing, geek anadi drink a healing serum.

You’re not the most medicinal or mage-y bunch, no.
Don’t forget you can each at any point grab a consumable from Radaszam (rewards from the intro)

Blooming Catastrophe Return to Grave

Unfortunately not a success for Treat Deadly Wounds - scenario doesn't call out so I'm willing to spot they'd have several advanced medkits available btw missions, but any full on medlabs in the fleet are being dedicated to treating the lost Starfinders being rescued.

Locked and loaded and slightly rested, you're able to launch the large craft and drop down into Agilaae-1's atmosphere. As you near the planet's surface you can see this stretch of the world is covered in dirt, stone, and ash. Spouts of some sort of magma pop out from the surface, pooling into lava beds that - while quite a bit cooler than most you've experienced in the Pact Worlds - are still hot.

Kalhoun sees a decently-built outpost structure off in the distance up a small ridge. The pilot brings your craft down to a landing spot as close as he can to the structure. But as you make your way there on foot, you see you're not alone. Several large things can be made out battling with smaller humanoid creatures in the distance near the outpost! Seemingly composed of thorny vines twisted together into large masses, as you near four of these plant creatures start coming towards you to block your path!

New map added (Slide 9). Life Science to ID the creatures. Also lava squares on the map are difficult terrain, and will deal 2d6 Fire damage if moved through

Also, if you would like to have used a Stamina rest or grabbed a consumable but haven't yet posted so, just do so as part of your first round action.
