Jim sill had his bow in his hands so he took a shot, but his shot was poor...
Shortbow: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (1) + 12 = 13Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 1 Oh well a one.
Tal'ariel Rhuidon
"Stupid snakes!" Tal quickly fires some acid at the serpentine foe.
Acid Splash: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (16) + 7 = 23; Damage (+Sneak if flat-footed): 1d4 + 2d6 ⇒ (3) + (2, 6) = 11

So what is Thoron going to do? (FYI, Sir Rhaym is still down 28hp from the last combat and Jim 18).
Felix also.

Ohhh ok sorry troops. I move 10' and cast CMW on Rhaym CMW: 2d8 + 7 ⇒ (1, 1) + 7 = 9 If I can reroll 1's itsCMW: 2d8 + 7 ⇒ (8, 3) + 7 = 18*1.5
so either 10 or 27 back you'll need to rule on that Brvheart

"Jim you're next , then Felix unless someone else is hurt more.
Guys if you're hurt after a fight let me know as sometimes I miss you getting hit."

Yes, my house rule on 1's on healing applies. 8) Cure spells: If the die/dice are all natural 1's, reroll.

Thoron, you had to be next to Lord Rhaym to heal him.

Jim gave his bow a look of disgust as he set it down, archery was clearly not his strong suit. Drawing his sword he moved into fight the snake, he waited for it to strike one of the others before dancing in to make a cut of his own.
Sabre: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (17) + 15 = 32Damage: 1d6 + 7 + 9 ⇒ (5) + 7 + 9 = 21

And Jim continues on a tear almost cutting the snake in half. Good thing he did not because that would have just left him two snakes!!!
xp=200 each
Ciri finds the basin glows to her eyes.
Tal'ariel Rhuidon
I'll take the hint!
"Nice slice, Jim!" Maybe foolhardy to charge the snake, but better Jim than her.
Tal approaches, casts Detect Magic and tries to make sense of the basin.
Spellcraft?: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (12) + 11 = 23

Well, you don't learn much on that roll but you think the basin makes the water magical some how.
brvheart
oh I see you rolled the save for me. "Is anyone hurt now?
No, but I will fort save: 1d20 + 8 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 8 + 2 = 26

Tal looks befuddled as she struggles with identifying the water in the basin. "I have no idea if it's safe--but the basin is definitely making the water magical somehow."
"I'm healthy here," she adds, responding to Thoron.
She examines the fountain for any sigils or decorative elements that might provide a clue.
"Slim" Jim
"What kind of magic?" asked Jim, "I wouldn't want to mess with it without knowing what it does..."

They can try again tomorrow.
brvheart
They are able to determine that it is not a magical item at all, but rather a relic of some importance that may grant a boon.
brvheart
The basin is 5' in diameter and not a cup one can carry around. It is like a fountain of sort.
Tal'ariel Rhuidon
Tal'ariel shrugs. "Ciri and I'll put our heads together and figure out how this basin works. Promise! But that's a project for tomorrow. Let's kill some more Set worshippers and figure out what in the Nine Hells is goin' on here."
What options do we have for where to go next?
"Slim" Jim
"In deed." remarked Jim. He cautiously moved west along the corridor, alert for trouble.

If you look at Beldar's map it is a passage that bypasses the goblin lair that you cleared out. There was a single door to the east of the room with the basin and a double door east in the room to the north.
Ciri Princess of Cintra
relishing the honor of the snake, she moves to the bowl to claim her reward, scoops up the water in her hands and takes a swallow, grimacing the brackish taste
This will be brave or stupid, but I will know in a moment what it does

As soon as Ciri explains the amazing effects of the water bowl, Tal takes a drink as well!

Felix whoops and takes a sip, too!
Felix's blood begins to stir when he drinks from the basin.

Jim frowned, "My ma always said there's no such thing as a free lunch, think I'll pass on that fountain."
Posting from my phone, will check the map later.
