My goal is to try to do a longer GM post each afternoon by 2 or 3 pm and then if I have time before work a shorter post around 2 or 3 am if needed.

It's covered by a Starfinder society expense account, for dealing with Ambassadors and such.

Although I know there is a Diplomacy option, we currently don't have a Diplomacy specialist. I decided it was better in this case to just use the Society expense account rather than risk alienating the guards and potentially raising the price with a failed Diplomacy check.

If the party lacks the skills needed for this section of the adventure, I'll try to get us through this part as quickly as possible. Might need to RP your way through some of the Diplomacy checks without dice rolls getting in the way.
Add at the start, the word Diplomacy: to RP to use it in place of a die roll if needed
