I'm fond of Roll20, but there is a definite learning curve. Google Slides is relatively straightforward, as is Google Drawings (though I prefer the Slides of the two). Both essentially allow you to insert an image of the map along with tokens on top.
Here is a nice post from a couple of years ago that gives a quick briefing on Slides. Here is one on Drawings.

Sorry, wife decided to drag me off to the Texas Rangers Fan Fest, so I ended up taking Friday off and we drove 5 hours one-way, spent the night, she went and tried to get in the various lines for all the signatures while I kept the grandkids entertained down on the field.
She failed. People went to specific lines to wait for specific signatures, and they were only allowing so many to get through each line. Now, the Rangers DID offer "Fast Passes" that allowed people to do what my wife was trying to do, but they were sold out before she decided to go AND they were $500 apiece. Primary purchasers for those are sports collectible dealers, who can expect to recoup that money selling only 2 or 3 of the signatures the pick up . . .. Not very Fan-centric, but, hey. Business.
Then, of course, after a couple of hours running around through the inflatables that were up in the outfield, the 4-year-old expressed a fever. So we got to head home early with a sick child for the 5 hours drive home. In the rain.
I think I would rather have gone to work on Friday.

Yikes...that sounds decidedly unpleasant. I hope you have an opportunity to rest now.

With the initiative block as this:
Dire Rat 2
Odeta, Simza and Vano (Up Now)
Zoog
Cole
Dire Rat 1
Erebus and Allera
Aren't we all up? I of course want to make sure that everyone has a chance to go, but I'll post an action for the sake of expediency.

Ouch man. I live in Dallas, and even I don't think the Rangers are worth that much effort.

Damage: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 2 = 10 I think the dice roller is broken! I hate 1st level...

I could have sworn I posted this in the Story thread! Oh well. It has been weird lately, so my brain…

This would not be my first campaign to die an unceremonious death (the 8th in the last year, unfortunately, more than half after fewer than 2 combats), but it would be the second of this AP.
Tomorrow will mark 5 weeks of radio silence from the GM.
I applied for this because Erebus is one of my favorite characters and I missed playing him. But I think after this I will not be applying for any games with GMs who do not have a consistent, established track record.
It was nice playing with you all, however brief it was.

Yeah, I just play the numbers game.
I hope that if I only apply for the games that look promising, that draw me in for some reason, that eventually one or two will break past the barrier and keep going.
Weirdly, I was recruited into a long-running game that is working for me, so I joined a couple of others run by the same GM that are not even close to the same experience. The GM is a major aspect, but the player base can invoke significant changes even so.

I'm sticking around for a little longer. No hurry to give up yet. I've had GM's disappear and come back months later.
That being said this is my 3 or 4th attempt to play Cole and I would be really disappointed if this died so soon after starting.
