Radiarch comes to, wincing at his failure to avoid distraction whether his own fault or not. He prays he has enough time to fire a significant enough shot against such an adversary, casting divine arrow as he moves into the doorway.

GM supervillan |

Though Doran slashes through the spirit as it recedes, the creature saps his will.
Trajan smites the undead - a mighty blow backed by the holy power of Iomedae. A creature of flesh and blood would surely fall, but the restless dead are more powerful still.
Radiarch enchants an arrow and advances. Moved you. Slide 2 btw.

Thanks. Fully intended to move my pawn but my break at work ended so I had to get back to it! I'm trying, Doran!!! Stay with us!

GM supervillan |

The shade appears enraged. It reaches out for Trajan...
incorporeal touch: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (9) + 9 = 18
...it looks as if the creature attempts to grasp the holy symbol of the Inheritor - but its skeletal claw passes right through Trajan's chest and at once the holy warrior is filled with rage and grief.
Trajan, attempt a DC19 Will save or take WIS damage: 1d4 ⇒ 3

Trajan grabs a small ceramic pot from one of his bandolier slots and applies the balm inside to his nodachi.
@GM: Move to retrieve a stored item from bandolier, standard to apply Holy Weapon Balm to the nodachi.

Dexter moves back into the first room and jostles the last party member out of his fugue, ”Ghost dude trying to kill us. You good to help?”
Hskoro is unfascinated.
Can Salazar ready to strike the ghost if it comes back out of the wall in range or are readied actions too complicated for a companion?

Vosk Lazav |

No Trajan was just short on the DC. Vosk would know PCs are complaining about hitting 'less hard' then they should and Trajan had this happen before with floating, 'spirity' undead and that's why he grabbed his Holy Weapon Balm. With Vosk's Intelligence and array of Knowledge skills, he could make an educated guess about general ways to help the party or hurt the enemy. This is one of those times when a Wand of Magic Missile would be handy to have.

Radiarch will move into the room with most of the party and prepare for the shade's reappearance, bow and divine arrow still nocked.
Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (12) + 6 = 18

Trajan tries to keep a grip on himself as he treats his weapon with a blessed salve.

The shade emerges from the wall next to Hskoro and reaches out with its phantom claw...
incorporeal touch: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (10) + 9 = 19
...the claw goes right through Hskoro's heavy armour. Although it causes no physical harm, the nagaji warrior's mind is at once filled with rage and terror.
Hskoro attempt a DC19 Will save or take WIS damage: 1d4 ⇒ 4

Dexter doesn’t even waste his time swinging, his gauntlet is more for a threatening show than anything else. "Agreed but I would suggest moving back into the larger room away from the walls so it can't sneak out, attack, and retreat back into the wall."
Trajan moves back into the room with Hskoro and prepares to attack the undead if it comes within range of his nodachi.

"Yes, into the other room!" Vosk agrees. Noticing Dexter and Salazar just hunkered down themselves, he takes a moment to look at the corpse.

GM supervillan |

You never had line of sight to the enemy Doran. I'll mark a 'flight path' arrow on the map so you can all see where it goes in future rounds.
Hskoro's resists the maddening effect of the shade's touch. His axe goes wide, and the nagaji prepare to dodge another attack.
Dexter goes on the defensive, returning to Salazar's side.
Vosk examines the dessicated corpse on the floor.
The wizard notices a holy symbol of Iomedae around the corpse's neck. And realises that a spectral counterpart can be seen on the spirit.

It's still around Vosk who was checking out the corpse on the floor for any hints and found it's wearing a holy symbol of Iomeade.

Vosk Lazav |

Since Dexter and Salazar already declared they were staying, party was split anyways so Vosk investigated the corpse. He will dip out next round. With nothing great to do, he is going to try talking to it and see what happens.

GM supervillan |

Doran waits for his chance, holy water in hand.
The angry spirit emerges in the corner of the smaller room. Radiarch shoots, and Doran throws holy water.
Radiarch you may roll your attack.
Doran's flask goes wide...

In case you missed my earlier post and what the undead has been doing, I'd recommend taking a move to get at least 10' away from any wall. It's exiting the wall, hitting, and then moving back in so we can't attack it.

Trajan readies an attack against the spirit fiend!
With Holy Weapon Balm still on his nodachi.

+1 Nodachi with Smite and Power Attack: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (8) + 13 = 211d10 + 18 ⇒ (9) + 18 = 27

GM supervillan |

You can only crit an incorporeal with Ghost Touch - but Holy Weapon Balm on a magic weapon is also effective.
Radiarch's aim is disturbed as he sees the shade fly straight for him! His arrow strikes the wall. But he resists the spirit's maddening touch, and readies another arrow as the enemy retreats.
Salazar gets excited as he sees the foe, but perhaps too excited, and the shade dodges. But the angry boar's follow-up tears a portion of ectoplasmic essence away.
Dexter follows the boar towards Trajan, who readies his own weapon.
Vosk brandishes a wand, planning to thwart the shade's next hit and run with a simple illusion.
Hskoro makes as much noise as he can with his axe and shield. You need a target to demoralise, but it's a standard action so this can be Readied as well. Fear effects tend not to work on undead though.

The shade emerges next to Doran...
Doran strikes!
Hskoro makes a racket!
Radiarch shoots with pinpoint accuracy! But his arrow passes harmlessly through the spirit. Not a magic bow, nor arrow.
Trajan steps up and strikes! A powerful blow, aided by the holy balm, burns the evil shade. If you don't move, you can use a 5' step as part of a ready action. Though this can sometimes produce odd and unwieldy effects, here it seems appropriate even though Trajan didn't actually specify, so I'll assume it.
The babbling spirit attacks - and as it reaches for Trajan, Vosk makes the paladin vanish!
incorporeal touch vs invisible Trajan: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (8) + 9 = 17miss chance: 1d100 ⇒ 75
The spirit's uncanny accuracy - or perhaps just blind luck - is enough, and Trajan again feels overwhelmed by grief, rage and madness.

Once more, the phantom passes into the wall.

@GM: Checking the math, the undead was at -19 and Trajan hit for 51 (24+27) points of damage. That should have it at -80 and then another 7 from Doran (halving his damage) would leave it at -87 while you have it at -71. I'm just hoping we hit it enough to kill it.
