Kidron, if I'm reading the map right you're in the dark right now, far from the corner where the apparent prisoner is. Since we're still in combat time, you should probably specify where you're moving to.

Both Trig and Kidron are still in the main area of the tavern in the dark.

The prisoner smiles at Ecthelion for trying to break his chains. Then you notice that the prisoner's smile is not out of gratitude, but it's more of an evil grin. Suddenly a dagger appears in his hand and stabs at Ecthelion with extreme prejudice. Also as the "prisoner" strikes at Ecthelion, his form changes.

As the group starts to examine the objects, Ecthelion suddenly waves his tentacles around and tries to ensure the others don't touch them.

Giles's eyes widen as Ecthelion realizes the potential danger. "Wait! Ecthelion says there appear to be cursed items here. Please be careful. I'm not sure what we're dealing with here."

Nic relaxes minutely, keeping his rapier in hand as he searches. "Perhaps one of us should return to the Museum and bring help, while the rest of us guard the items here."

You also find assorted documents that include detailed tactical information on the Pathfinder Society’s lodges in Andoran, Cheliax, Osirion, Qadira, and Taldor, as well as the Grand Lodge itself, such as guard rotation schedules, pass phrases, entrances and exits, room dimensions, unusual features, dossiers on the lodges’ leaders, and timelines of recent events in those locales.

"I agree too. Our assignment was to help the museum. There is plenty of time to report to the society afterwards. Ecthelion and I can go to the museum and report if that's alright? We could carry some of the benign objects with us to ensure this is what we're looking for."

At the Blakros Museum, Seshuun is glad you uncovered what you did, but is upset the Onyx Alliance were able to get the drop on the Sixwing Drake’s crew of Pathfinders in the first place. She expresses concern for the apparently missing crew, and hopes the Society is able to learn what happened to them—and discover how the Onyx Alliance managed to pull of their heist. She offers to help you with any information she acquires in the future, but states that she’ll be quite busy setting up a different exhibit for the foreseeable future. In the meantime, she also intends to speak with her superiors at the museum about the Onyx Alliance, as she knows that group has a complex history with the Blakros family.

At the Grand Lodge, Ambrus Valsin listens to your report. He believes that the Onyx Alliance learned of the shipment, stole it with the help of powerful enchantment magic to manipulate the crew and dockworkers, and then prepared to replace the goods with their cursed items in hopes of setting off some kind of disaster at the Blakros Museum. He ponders why the Onyx Alliance is suddenly lashing out at the Blakros Museum and the Society. Whatever the cause, he suspects their attack ties in with the similar disruptive events occurring at lodges across the Inner Sea, and the presence of detailed information on the lodges is only further proof that the Onyx Alliance is coordinating these attacks.

"Steel yourselves for the missions ahead. I hope to send you to the lodges under threat."
