I've got some ideas, but I would like to know if they work with what you have in mind for the Black Sheep role.
- Human Paladin of Shelyn sent to Lyon's Brook after her father turned out to be a Kuthite heretic. Has lived in Lyon's Brook for the past few years
- Tiefling Fighter on the run from the secretive branch of the Thrune family and the hellknight order she had been training with. Has also lived in Lyon's Brook for the past few years.
- Half-elf Magus(Bladebound) rumored to be someone's illegitimate child. Grew up in Lyon's before disappeared for a year and coming back with a strange sword and book.
- Changeling Witch who lives on the edge of town and is the subject of all kinds of nasty rumors. Lusia holds a grudge against her for some reason.

Completed submissions so far:
Black Sheep: —-
Average Joe: half-orc soulbound summoner
Looks like I’ll need to extend the deadline. I’ve just discovered that my weekend is going to be absolutely bonkers so I would t be able to do much until Monday anyway, so let’s try pushing that deadline to Sunday evening.

Varian, Grahm, and Kieran, you can put stats in profiles, just don’t publicly include the background and personality information. The idea is for players to get to know the PCs organically like the characters do.
The three locals would know of Grahm, being Sir Eustus’ Ward, but nothing really about him. He’s been in town a few times, always in company with Sir Eustus and/or his butler Halvers.
The campaign literally starts with Kieran’s arrival in town, so nobody knows anything about him at all.

I have considered all the options, and have elected to invite Marcus the warpriest of Irori, Black Sheep of Lyon’s Brook, and Thraag, the soul-bound summoner, Average Joe. Here is the discussion thread where you five players can say hi, and you can also dot the gameplay thread.
Roburro, thank you for the submission, and best of luck in finding a game.

We are recruiting for a new Pride of Lyon’s Brook. Our previous golden child has been forced to retire from adventuring to take care of his family after the small matter of his brother nearly being sacrificed by a mentally-unbalanced druid, and we are looking for his successor.
PCs are at level 2 at the moment. Creation criteria are at the top of the thread. Feel free to read through the Rogue’s Gallery and build something that would fit the setting.

Mightypion |
OK, so, Paladin, wizard, kineticist, rouge, imho, divine full caster would fit in nicely.
Ideas:
--Oracle (positive energy obviously, healing?) with an interest in healing and a stutter, managed to greatly reduce the impact of an epidemic affecting the crops. Just returned, well acclaimed, from the big city after giving a well received talk at a university in the "big city".
--Oracle of battle, was drafted by Taldor to fight against the Caliphate, his oracular powers awakened and, as the war was rather short, he returned a relatively hometown hero.
--Cleric of Saerenrae, similar background to the oracle of battle, only she managed to convince the Caliphate soldiers to not attack, using her own knowledge of Saerenraes religion, beating a Caliphate priestess in a duel of lore and religion.

The Pride of Lyon’s Brook is a local, well-liked local youth, not even having to be particularly heroic. He or she is just one of those people that everybody likes, which implies high Charisma, but isn’t required to be if their local actions are the root of their universal popularity.
As an example, the character being replaced is a shepherd boy known for being kind, following the rules, and always volunteering to help when needed, with chores big or small.

Kieran the Outsider |

I was in the last, second group as Kieran, the blind Life Oracle, before it stopped. If there is a spot in the other group and it continued, I could level him to level 2? I always kind of regretted it stopped, with the now uncommon small village setting and so much detail to the npc's.
Obviously, his background was made to be the stranger back then, so if Golden Child is a hard requirement then something else would have to be designed or the background redone.
