There is an option under the topics for each post saying how many replies there are automatically. For example, when you look at this one again fromthe main message board screen it will say at the very end (# new).
Also, if you go to "My Profile", you can look at your posts and go straight to them all.

Yes, but if there are 500+ replies to a recent topic, and you' are only looking for posts made in response to something you wrote, and you have recently written 40-50 other posts (so it won't show up under 'my recent' anymore), the only way to find responses is to wade through all the posts looking for replies.
